My deodexed releases aim to be as-pure-stock-as-possible, just with a magic touch of being ready for all community modifications, such as theming, debloating, customizing and so on.
You should consider them as an alternative to official pure stock. Especially because they're CWM-compatible, which means that you don't need Odin in order to be up-to-date.
Notice to all developers: Feel free to use my deodexed release as a "base" for your ROM. I'm doing the same with ArchiDroid.
Today we have:
Model: GT-I9300
Model name: GALAXY S III
Country: Brazil

CSC has not been included due to branded (UB, not XX) release.
This release has been possible thanks to ArchiKitchen. Init.d is indepdendent, kernel bundled with ROM isn't modified in any way.
Nothing else has been made/changed. No apps removed. No KNOX. This is one-time release. You can use Rom Cleaner for fast debloat. This is the "base" for upcoming ArchiDroid 1.7.17, so if you're looking for something more advanced feel free to try my "monster" .
Modem comes in standalone package, rom itself does not change your modem by default.
Previous releases:
XXUGND5 UBUGNB1 XXUGNB6 XXUGNA7 XXUGNA5 XWUGML4 XXUGML2 XXUGMK6 XXUGMJ9
This ROM uses new set_metadata permissions. Up-to-date recovery is required! Latest CWM, TWRP or PhilZ will work.
This ROM works only with EFS V2 (XXEMG4+) modems! Read stickies if you don't know what it means
(Unless you're running modified custom kernel)
This is "No Wipe" ROM but I can't assure you that you won't run into problems without wiping. In case of issues - Format /data /system /preload /cache.
Be patient during flahsing and booting.

Have fun, hit thanks if I deserve it :highfive:.

This ROM is official Samsung ROM and untouched in terms of apps or any tweaks, so I doubt that it works on pure stock as well.

CRT OFF mod zip
@JustArchi, could you or anyone else kindly provide me the stock deodexed UBUGNE1 CRT OFF mod zip?
It's been a long time I'm after this effect for my device... But I've spent some good time trying to find it with no success...
Introducing my new tool called PRFCreator. With this tool, anyone can easily create a pre-rooted firmware.
What is a pre-rooted firmware
A pre-rooted firmware is a firmware, which already includes root. This is for example important if you want to update the firmware to a version, where there is no public root exploit. To flash a pre-rooted firmware, you need a recovery menu. An unlocked bootloader is not required.
How does the tool work
The tool should be self-explanatory. SuperSU zip can be downloaded from here. [NUT]'s dualrecovery (*.flashable.zip) can be downloaded from here. Recovery is optional and if your device is not supported by dualrecovery, you can use any recovery (just has to be a flashable zip).
Depending on the firmware size and your computer speed, generating a pre-rooted firmware can take up to 7 minutes. The pre-rooted firmware will be created in the directory of the executable and called flashable-prerooted.zip.

The order for the extra files is
Extra flashable
In the order you added it initially in the GUI
APKs
TWRP is recommended for flashing!
Note: If you do not include the kernel in the pre-rooted firmware, it's recommended to flash it afterwards with flashtool (check "system" under Exclude).
Note2: I am not responsible for any damage done to your device or if you end in a bootloop.

Initial release
I have a question!
What should I check under 'Include' ?
Kernel: Personally I recommend to check kernel. For some firmwares it's important otherwise the phone won't boot.
FOTAKernel: This kernel is used for OTA Updates. I recommend to include it.
Modem: This is the baseband / modem. Some updates can give you slightly better battery life and signal.
LTALabel: This is a partition with regulatory informations. It should not really change the performance of your device. I recommend to include it.

.
Do I need to include a recovery?
No, recovery is optional. If you do not wish to include recovery you should add this flashable zip under Extra Files to be able to mount system as rw: https://github.com/dosomder/SonyRICDefeat/blob/master/RICDefeat.zip
Note: If your bootloader is unlocked, this is not needed as RIC will be disabled anyway.

.
Can I edit system.ext4 inside flashable zip?
Yes, you can edit it on a linux machine. You don't have to change anything else in the flashable zip. See here for more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55547862&postcount=246

What is zip signing?
For a proper flashable zip, zip signing is used. It generates a hashtable of all the files in the flashable zip to verify its integrity. Note that zip signing might double the process time of generating a flashable zip.

Does it wipe my user data?
No.

What is extra zip?
With this feature, you can include additional flashable zip files. An example is to include Xposed directly (you can find the flashable zip in the Xposed apk).

Hi,
Thank you.. Looks really good! What do the Kernel, FOTAKernel and LTALabel checkboxes do? Also, will this work with the latest .133 ftf?

It will include those in the flashable zip. FOTAKernel and LTALabel are not really important but I thought why not include this feature. Kernel is more important and I recommend to always use the kernel from the firmware you're using.
It should work with all the current ftfs (the tool is built for sin version 3).

Thanks for the reply... What is sin version 3? Also, what are your recommended settings? Tick all boxes or just the Kernel box? What devices/ROMs has it been tested on? Sorry for all of the questions!
i just used the xperifirm tool to get the latest z2 .323 update, then used flashtool to create .tft, then your prfcreator tool to make the flashable zip. everything worked perfectly fine (many thanks to the dev's for all this nice and easy to use tools btw), this .zip rom should now be flashable from twrp (i got a locked and unlockable BL) no matter what i have installed on the phone right?
Thanks for your help, i'm new to sony devices and my z2 is only 20 days old, i'm trying hard not to brick it
Wow! Is this magic?
Xperia™ Z (C6602) with Tapatalk!
There was a dev who would create pre-rooted images you could flash on Galaxy S3 phones... that was something very cool!
So, I should be able to flash the zip this creates and have a "pre-rooted" phone image...
I'd half thought you were creating a root-injected FTF file... but this is actually pretty cool as well... (saves the pain that I normally go through to root the image after flashing it... thankful I have an unlocked boot loader...)

The first byte of a sin file (contents of ftf file, the ftf is just a zip) is the version. Currently Sony uses version 3. Well if I would create a pre-rooted zip for myself I would tick all the boxes. I have tested the tool a handful of times on my Z1C.

Good to hear. And yes, that is correct. I still recommend to take a backup in TWRP before flashing it (just to be on the safe side).

It's actually not possible to create modified FTF as Sony uses RSA2048 signatures. And yeah, the tool is mainly aimed for those on locked bootloader
NICE! I was just waiting for a root method for my Xperia M2 with KitKat.. The only problem is that there's no Dual-Recovery for it... Would be possible to try the T2U Dual-recovery on my M2?
Very clever, thanks!

WHY FLASH OFFICIAL FIRMWARE FIRST
* Contains latest T705XXU1AOA1 bootloader needed as base for this OA1 ROM.
[Q] If I have official T705XXU1AOA1 firmware already installed, do I need to re-flash T705XXU1AOA1 again with Odin?
[A] No
WHY FULL WIPE INSTALL
If you are changing from odex file system or official firmware to de-odex system
To avoid errors and nice "clean" base to flash new ROM
MIRRORS
NO thank you
If connection is too slow for you, put up with it, or use a download accelerator such as THIS
LANGUAGE
[Q] Can I add more system languages?
[A] No, would require system and app decompile and translating .xml etc.

hehe waiting you
So happy for new T705 rom.
Happy to Have a new ROM for my Samsung Tab S 8.4 LTE
I am just concerned for one thing,
Is it necessary to install Synapse App along with SkyHigh Kernel option?
As i have tried to install skyhigh kernel for with other ROMS in this section but i am never able to get synapse boot working, I always ended up with synapse boot cancelled error.
Is Synapse app necessary for Skyhigh kernel? or its mean for the change in kernel setting only if i want that?
And is it ok to install skyhigh kernel only and so using its default settings?
Sorry for a newbie question.
Thanks

To make the synapse work, I had to install the app first and run it and grant permission. Then download the disabler in xposed(forget what it was called). Then I would reboot into recovery and flash his kernel and then the work will also work everytime. Synapse app has lots of features in it to get great battery life/performance and the most cusomization of voltages and other stuff. I have the SMT800 and his kernel with the battery life settings gave me 9 hours screen on time.
So synapse is optional for his kernel. It just gives more options to control things i think. His kernel should be fine and use it for defualt settings. It just sets android to permissive and optinal to change cpu stuff.

Not necessary, but great to take advantages of the configurable options. I can't build the kernel to suit all ROMs, just what I use. Works fine on this ROM.

Hi UpInTheAir, I am currently using ANF7 stock ROM rooted with TWRP custom recovery. Will a factory reset be enough or Do I need to flash first stock NI1 firmware through ODIN?

I have mentioned it 3x : Post #2 "Requirements" & "Installation Instructions", and why flash T705XXU1ANJ3 in Post #3 "Help & FAQ" sections. As I said, in previous post, please read carefully Posts #1-3.
@all, from this point on, I will ignore any needless questions that can be self answered by searching and reading for yourself. I don't wish to waste my time, I have other things to do. Thank you.

There was no need before because users were proactive and built their own to share. There hasn't been anything with the new firmware, so I had a little time to spare and share
As I said, this ROM won't be loaded with mods or features, users are welcome to try their hand though. It's de-odexed just for that.
thanks for making this rom. i feel that anj3 is the best base rom so far for this tab. im glad there is rom for this base.
I apologize for the off-topic, but I wish you'd find the time and motivation to do a T800 version of this ROM SkyHigh...
With your set of skills, I'd be a faithfull follower.
