I just got myself a Nexus 7 (2012 edition) and it's running Stock 4.3 firmware. But it's lagging and runs in general not very smooth. I've heard somewhere that Stock 4.3 + Franco Kernel would solve this issue? If so can anyone point me to a guide on how to Root, Flash and update my Stock 4.3 Nexus 7 to Stock 4.3 and Franco Kernel?

hello. i can't find i9500 stock kernel for XXUBMEA update. if the newest kernel works on this update, i need any of these.

I'm currently on Purity 4.2 and I'd like to upgrade to the JB4.3 based version.
Can someone help me in understanding whch is the best method?
Can I flash the Purity 4.3 zip file through recovery? Do I have to wipe cache/data first?
Or do I need to flash a stock 4.3 and then Purity 4.3?
Anyone with some experience on this?

I've got 5.0 Lollipop up and running on my Nexus 4, but am missing the Sweep2wake function. This has got to be one of my favourite rooted mods, so I'm hoping theres a way to get it on 5.0
Previously, on 4.4.4 I was running Hellscore Kernal to gain access to that function, tho support for it has vanished on my recent install.
Are there any kernals that have support for Sweep2wake on 5.0?
