Good morning everyone !
Since about a week, every time i get out of the network (i'm living in a small village) my Nexus 4 keeps vibrating every 10-15 mins.
I already search in the settings but i didn't find anything that shut this off.
I'm using the PACman rom and if anyone got the same problem and solved it, I would like to know the solution
Thanks a lot !

so this happened last night and i thought i fixed it with some tweaks such as telling the phone to get time from the internet.
the issue is from some people just after midnight and i guess for a little while the texts think they are coming from "yesterday" at the same time.
so i have to scroll up a day to find their text.
anyone hear of this?
anyone with the phone have this happen to them?
so for the 3rd night in a row is happening.
i just went to phone settings and turned off time synchronization.
but whenever i reset the phone that setting automatically rechecks itself.
i just turned on the setting in sense to get time from the internet and that hasnt seemed to help
anyone that got the us hd2 let me know
You can try the fix I've made and see if it helps you... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6116612
Your problem is not exactly what the fix aims to fix, but it should work too...
I'm having the exact same problem. Very annoying. I'll give the cab a try and see what happens tonight
worked for me. thanks!
Evening all!,
Wondering if anyone else is having this issue with their note 3?
(i have the EU Snapdragon 800 version - sim free)
Everytime i turn my bluetooth on, it picks up on all devices in the area and connects fine.
HOWEVER... after around 5-10 mins, even if using the relevant bluetooth device, The Note 3 just turns bluetooth off and severs the connection, forcing me to manually turn it on again....
its currently driving me batty!! as i cant use my MOGA pro pad to play any games without it just dropping half way through and when playing music through my headset or speaker, it just stops the music dead...
this is nigh on a device breaking issue for me but coudl just be me doing something stupid (spent a good long while searching forums and cant find anything).
anyone else have this? or able to fix it?
cheers all!!
OK - I have just sat down and timed it... almost at EXACTLY 15 MINS, Bluetooth turns itself off if connected to ANY device. just had music playing through a bluetooth speaker - 15 mins - speaker gives disconnect noise and BT now off on device.
with the amount of bluetooth devices i use, this is making the phone almost un-useable. gotta wait till monday before i can talk to anyone at samsung and pretty sure they wont have a clue or will just ask for the phone to be sent away...
ANYWAYS. ill keep an eye on here if ANYONE can give any pointers as to what this might be?.
cheers again and hope to hear from you all
UPDATE - tried same speaker setup again right after and bluetooth quit out after 27 mins this time so it isnt consistent every time it gives up... this is sooo frustrating....
Is it possible you have a bum BT radio in your GN3?

Ive been messing around with it today and came to actually fix the problem by mistake!.
its the old "I.T Crowd" solution ...
i turned it off, turned it on again and problem fixed!..
proper weird, though that was the first time i have turned the device off since buying so must've just been a bit twitchy.
either way, happy as Larry now!

I am having the same issues now that you described earlier. I have had this phone since the beginning of October and no issues at all until about 3 days ago when BT started shutting down constantly. I have not timed it specifically but it is in the 10 to 15 minute rnage when it forces me to turn it back on. This is driving me nuts.
I have shut it off and turned back on with no luck. powered it off, removed the battery, let sit for a while and repeat. Same issue although at times it seems to be inconsistent. I did get the new Sony SmartWatch 2 so I am constantly loosing connection and reconnecting manually with it. I have had that for 2 weeks but only started having issues a few days ago.
Any other ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Did you try wiping cache partition?
BT switches off exactly every 3 minutes
I've tried rebooting and switching off and on again to no avail!
Hi,
I have a sim free galaxy s4 on Vodafone and updated to 4.3 yesterday.
Since today I've noticed that exactly every 5 minutes without fail I get a message notification sound. I don't actually get a notification of any sort but I keep getting that message sound. If my phone is on silent then it vibrates like I have a message.
It took a while to figure out why my phone was randomly vibrating in my pocket or sounding message notification while it was placed beside me but after an hour of constant observation, I've finally managed to pin it down to the fact that it is just making the sound exactly when the clock turns to multiples of five and also it is in 5, 10, 15, 20 etc not other random times. .. .
Does anyone else have this problem? This is not only a weird problem but is getting extremely annoying.

Nobody replied. But I've solved it myself

How have you solved it?
It was in settings> accessibility>notification reminder. I had it set to 5 minutes hence it kept going of every 5 minutes. So I just turned it off.
Only thing I can't explain is why it kept going of when it's supposed to be a reminder of unread messages. But I didn't have any unread message but it still went off.

Thanks for the solution Jayman1986. I had the same problem. At first I thought it was random until I took the time to time the noitfications alerts.
I couldn't figure out why it was alerting me either. Thanks for solving the problem.

Hi all. I updated my galaxy 5 a couple of days ago to the latest lollipop and since then when i make or receive a call it keeps intermittently cutting out. One minute i am listening and the next it goes dead then voices come back for a minute then it goes dead again and so on. I have spent hours trawling through posts but can find no answers or help.
Has anyone experienced this or had the same problem?
Thanks for reading this

Try booting to recovery and clear the caches before resetting

Hi all I have a Samsung s8+ on Vodafone UK and have got the same problem as many people out here device freezes and then reboots out of nowhere after reading endless comments on it and not getting anywhere I noticed that my phone freezes and reboots 9 out of 10 times when I'm outside and it's cold now I was wondering if anyone else has found that when there outside and have their device out it does this? Quick example I walked to the gym today which is a 10 min walk and on the way there it did it once then on my way back it did it twice now whilst being at the gym it didn't do it and being back home now for about 3 hours it hasn't happened once. Imo it's the hardware but I want to know if anyone else experienced it in this way or maybe this will trigger a lightbulb moment and we get a solution.
Thanks guys.
Quick edit: I have tried the hard reset, the factory reset, smart switch, got the latest update and device is 3 months old

Why do you think it's the hardware?
Flash a new stock rom using Odin. Get the latest version for your device and carrier.

Because it only seems to happen outside I went from last nights post to this morning without reboot but as soon as I stepped outside within 10 min it happened then I tried replying to this post and it happened again so yeah done this reply twice. I'm currently inside and it hasn't happened. I don't know if it's the battery is being sensitive to temperature changes after the exploding ones but I don't seem to have this problem indoors I was outside for roughly 25 min and it rebooted twice consistent with other times now I have read a comment of a guy describing the same problem and he had his motherboard replaced and the phone seemed to be working fine after that but there has not been an update after that so I'm not sure if that was a long term solution.
