Adorama eBay is selling Nexus 7 2013 16 GB for $199. It includes free shipping and no tax for majority of states

Is this new or Like-new? BTW, I could get one and have it shipped overseas, but how good are the chances that I open it and it's a defective unit? Out of 10 brand new Nexus 7s, how many is expected to be issue free? (SW bugs not counted).

It is BRAND new through ADORAMA camera which has good reputation
Tablets not returnable once opened.
Great deal from a very reputable retailer. I'm tempted to pick one up for my wife.
picked one up for my self. Sold my original nexus 7 to purchase this. Finally found a deal.
What is all these issues I am hearing about and are they patched or is it hardware?

So what are you going to do if there is something wrong with the unit? Send it to ASUS for repair?
Both 8gb and 16gb Nexus 7's are being shipped via Google Play within 3 business days now. Plus a lot of retail shops have them in stock as well for instant pickup.
Lot less risky than dealing with an Ebay seller.
Don't do it! I have yet to find a manufacturer anywhere that will validate a warranty from a eBay purchase. If you do buy it from eBay, be sure you don't mind having a device without warranty. Call Asus if you don't believe me (prior to purchase).

Here's a question I have for people. Has anyone, since December 10th, dont a warranty replacement for their 16gb Nexus 4's? I did one but have not yet received any notification that my replacement phone is going to ship anytime soon.
This paired with the fact that the 8gb Nexus 4 is not listed as being available where the 16gb is and you'd think if they were expecting more stock they'd still take orders just push the date back like they did with the 16gb.
Here's my pipe dream of a hope: do you think this might mean, due to the overwhelming popularity and demand, they are going to phase out the 8gb N4, drop the price down so 16gb is the price of 8gb and a new 32gb would be price of 16gb and therefore they'd be waiting for the new 32gb models to roll off the manufacturing line to send out the new 32gb replacements to the 16gb RMA's and give a $50 credit to everyone else?
This is me being truly optimistic and hopeful but I can't imagine if they give me 21 days to return the defective phone from the day that I ordered the new one that they wouldn't have planned on getting me the phone within that 21 days. If so, sucks for those who did not RMA their 16gb!
I don't think they'd that to be honest. A lot of people who already bought it would get mad, etc.
they did it with the Nexus 7

After four months, which was still too soon for many. But a month? That's too soon for everyone.

Wal-Mart in my area has the Nexus 10 reduced to $350.00. I'm thinking about another tablet because I haven't purchased one in a while and want to upgrade. I was just curious if any of you think thats a good buy? I have never even played with a Nexus 10 is the only reason I ask.
I recently bought brand new, 32gb on ebay for $300. Still one of the best tablets available.

Hi,
Nexus 10 is still an amazing tablet, in the Best Tablets of 2013 by MKBHD he said that he's favorite is still Nexus 10! Here's the link: Top 5 Tablets (Early 2014) Collab!: http://youtu.be/Rrm4isCQDkQ.
I don't have any complaints about my tablet, it performs really well, also has an stunning screen. For 300$ (eBay) or 350$ (in your area) I think it's a great deal . Also, maybe it's worth getting on Wal-Mart there, because if it's what I understood, you will get it the time you buy, so no waiting for shipping or paying for shipping.

First of all: I'm sincierly sorry to ask this question, but my recent finding destroyed my illusions of getting this phone.
Background story:
I found a person on ebay who is selling new, unopened, original Nexus 4 for real good price. I was like YES, I'm going to get it! Then I did some research and I found out that since the package starts from Hong Kong, it is checked by customs and that means no good. In Hungary the price is: The price of the phone + price of shipping + customs (3-12% of the earlier two combined) + 27% tax on the end result of the earlier 3 combined. It is CRAZY.
To work around this, I need the package to start from within the EU, because it means no customs and no 27% tax.
The question part
Can anyone tell me the cheapest and reliable place to get a new Nexus 4 from within the EU? And also it has to ship to Hungary, as my travelling options are very limited.
My maximum acceptable price is 280 dollars or the same value in any other money type. At the end of it's support it was cheaper than that at the play store so it has to be enough.
And once again: I seriously feel bad for having to ask this.
No idea but I think the used market is your best choice.
I bought a 16GB used Nexus 4 in mint condition still under warranty for 200€ 3 days in my country.
Surely you can find similar priced Nexus 4 on Ebay/Amazon?

It's probably just me, but I don't trust refurbished or used phones. Maybe I will have to change that in the future...

I feel you but as long as it has warranty and is in mint condition I don't see why not.
Besides I was on a tight budget aswell (200€) and had nothing as good as the N4 close to this price.
I also don't see how you will find a new Nexus 4 for sale because they aren't produced anymore and any N4 you might find will have atleast 1 year inside a box without any use, probably left on a wharehouse.
good luck though!

I don't like the fact that they are sitting in a warehouse, but I still trust it more than a used one.
Currently the best one I found is 312 dollars with the taxes. It's crazy.
I know basically everyone who wants a 2013 Nexus 7 probably has one by now, but just thought this was worth letting everyone know about. O2 sell the Wi-Fi version of the tablet next to the LTE model. They don't specify a capacity on the website, so I assumed I'd be getting a 16GB model. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they delivered a 32GB Nexus to me! Worth knowing about if you're thinking of picking one up.
Wow thats a no brainer
The back of my Nexus 7 has a fairly long crack and its sad that i can't find anywhere to replace it
I ordered an unopened new 16GB for £120 from ebay the other day, it's too late for me to return it as it wont be here for another 10 days or so (coming from America) ah well haha
