Calling All devs: I need help on miui

Hey guys. I'm the miui developer for the epic. I've fixed a lot, like calling and text and no more screen flicker, not to toot my own horn, but need some help on fixing data. Please post ideas or your gtalk here if you can help. Me and a lot of people would love to see this working

So no data at all? noobnl would be perfect for this. I'm guessing its ril related, or way over my head. But I will take a look at the ROM before I install the new simply ASOP.

Returned from assistence and phone is not repaired

Hello everyone .. My nexus s not read any sim card so I took it in for service .. I come home and the problem remains the same .. I call them and tell me that the only explanation is that the phone is "SIM lock" but I read on the net that the nexus s are not blocked by the operators .. I throw my nexus?

I tried everything .. all rom! but nothing, so I sent in for service and Nance have been able to resolve their..

Guy...you have to explain where you took it to...what rom,kernel,radio,....ect. all of this will help you to get some help.

We can't help you until you give the info we're asking for. Who did you go to? What model is your nexus? What rom are you running? "All rom" doesn't count. Rooted?
I actually have a guy in mind who can fix your phone (I think)!! I read about him in some old book, dude has a soft voice, creeps some people out with his hippy message (all that crap about peace and love!) And was a carpenter before. He's really famous, most people visit him on Sundays, he's like the clean up guy from "Michael Clayton ". I'll talk to him, if he's not busy he'll pm you.

Kitchen ?

hey guys sorry for this stupid question but,
a while ago i flashed bindriod and i freaking LOVE IT, but the battery symbol i wanted to change, someone told me about something called kitchen ? or something sounds like it u send stuff online and u download it with it modded. you guys know what im talking about ? i tried looking up on search i dont know enough info to find it.

[Q] what happen to the xda developers app ?

Well i installed a new rom and i made a mistake of not backing the apps i mostly use . well any ways i go to the market and i search for the xda developers app and its not there . what happen to it ? and can some one upload the app if you have it ? it was free so i dont think is bad if its uploaded here ? or is it ?

Was wondering the same thing...cannot find it either through google, went to appbrain and said it is no longer in the market...weird...

i know . i was thinking it was my phone but i checked with another one i have and the same .. so no one has a copy of it ? i would really appreciated it ..

oh. so they took out the free version cause i only see the .99 cent one ..

I forgot what issue they were having I seen it in another post but I forgot but it will be back up when they resolve the problem.
Also if your rooted download the BlackMarket he he he you will find everything you need and more there

Posting the free version is probably ok (not positive though), but not the paid "premium" version.

how to root 2.3

i just got a mytouch 4g with 2.3 on it and idk how to root it im a real noob at this it might be my first root i heard from a friend that i have to downgrade it i guess thats what he did but i wanted to ask if i can root it without having to

You're gonna have to downgrade, sorry. Check the stickies in the dev section for a great guide and some help

As with most things that have to do with modifying your device, yes; there is a chance you can brick it. Although, if you read everything thoroughly and follow instructions closely, you should be fine.

Also, as long as you use some common sense (like not pulling out the battery when the bootloader is flashing PD15IMG), you should be fine.

Also, even if you follow all the steps straightly, you have a chance (minimal) of getting your phone bricked.
Actually, you can have it bricked even if you do nothing (i mean just normal use without downgrading and rooting it). This is very rare but in two months with my my touch4g I did see it a couple times.
