Titanium Backup not working-HELP! - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I installed the multiboot tool on my nexus 4 and installed PA as my secondary ROM. I backed my apps from 4.3 stock using TB and now when I try to restore them on PA it says "parsing error" while restoring the app.
Help, someone!

I was having the same issue, changing the backup folder location to /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup worked for me.

Fix permissions in recovery. If that still doesn't work, flash the latest supersu.zip

CWM Back ups won't delete??

Rooted my N7 with WugFresh's Toolkit, and I've made four CWM back ups since rooting and what with the data files from games like NOVA 3, ME, Max Payne and alike I'm running out of storage. In fact I have a notification, "Storage space running out".
So I've decided to delete some files, and I decided I don't need the four CWM Back ups but I can't delete them??
I've tried using my usual file explorer, Solid Explorer but with no luck there I tried with Root Explorer but still cannot delete the CWM Back ups with that either, WTF?
Never any problems like this with either my last two Android devices (both rooted), any body had similar issues?

Flash http://core.routed.com/CWM_Backup_Wipe.zip in cwm recovery and it will wipe everything. There's been some known problems with deleting backups.

Thanks for the reply, does that zip just delete what's in the CWM Back up folder?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
You have to delete the backups within CWM itself. reboot into CWM recovery and delete backups from there, it's a bug.
Thanks for the reply but where is the option in CWM recovery to delete back ups?
Did you mean CWM recovery or did you mean ROM Manager because I installed CWM through WugFresh's Toolkit and if I select the option in ROM Manager I'm told I must install CWM through ROM Manager??
TIA

First off I am using the latest version of CWM touch from rom manager. Once in CWM recovery "not rom manager, you still cant delete backups with it." select backup/restore and in that section below the backup and restore options will be delete.
From my understanding if you are using the older version of CWM installed via wugfresh nexus toolbox and use rom manager to upgrade your version of CWM you will no longer be able to delete the backups via CWM, you have to use the version of CWM you made the backups with or it will not work! Once you've cleared them you can upgrade CWM via rom manager or flashing it yourself which I recommend.
Thanks again for replying, appreciate it!
So I have no way to delete them then because the version of CWM installed by Nexus Toolkit does not have the delete option and if I install a newer version of CWM via ROM Manager I still won't be able to delete my back ups??
WTF should I do then?

Flash the zip I posted earlier. I'm personally saying with the 5.x.x.x version of cwm because it makes a single file with everything I need - but that's just me.

Have you given this a try? I haven't used it so I don't know if it will work for deleting the blobs folder as well or not.
What I did personally was just flash the tablet back to the stock image, it took me 10 minutes and I had a fresh start. I made sure "do not install CWM" was selected in the toolkit and flashed back to stock then rerooted. After the usual update binaries blah blah I installed CWM through rom manager and upgraded to the latest CWM touch, rebooted and installed Paranoid android and Trinity kernel lol.
Cliffnotes: I reflashed the stock image and started over properly.

This guy has a point. Using the older version means no blobs folder and that can take up a whole lot more space than the older method. I use the newer version because I like the faster restore.

So is it a backup you have to restore, or did you create a CWM flashable .zip already?

Full Backup. that you just restore via cwm.
You will loose root but you just need to reflash CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 via odin to get root access again.
Will the system status be modified if I restore this?

depends on what it includes, if it includes a custom recovery then yes you will be modified (the modified check checks various things including custom kernels and recovery images, root related files and apps etc.)

To get Status Normal : After first boot just do a factory reset, then it will be as though your gs3 will be running completely stock status normal and factory restore.

I'm using ROM manager right now. All the functions work fine, assuming you have TWRP or CWM installed.

Not working for me since updating to 4.2.1.
CWM works but stores backups in a different directory and rom manger cannot see them. I have also tried doing a backup from RM but it fails. Think the only thing it succeeds in, is to boot to recovery.
Not a geek but i think its because of the directory changes and until or if RM update there software and make compatible with JB 4.2. I have been searching for a solution for couple of days but no joy as of yet..Would appreciate if someone knows how to resolve....

Just an update on my earlier post and that I have found a resolution to my problem with RM. Its all working fine now.
The problem wasnt actually RM but CWM. There was a file in the system which reload stock android recovery on every reboot. Either delete that file or disable it from CWM does the trick....

Phone won't boot after attempt to do a Nandroid Backup

I wanted to install cyanogenmod on my Nexus 4 so I installed CWM recovery through ADB and then booted to it from the phone.
Before doing anything I wanted to do a Nandroid Backup but something went wrong (I suspect storage space)
So I tried to boot the device to delete some files, but I can't get past the boot screen
I still dont have any roms on the device so I cant flash them and I can't figure out how to access the SD Card, I've read it doesnt work from CWM on Nexus devices
I would try to wipe data cache or maybe lock/unlock from fastboot and hope it gets back to normal but I wanted to hear your thoughts before messing it up even more.
What dou you think?
Thanks in advance!
You can try sideloading a rom onto it if you flash TWRP.

Thank you Wiping the cache did solve it however.
Also, if this happens to someone else and wiping the cache doesnt solve it, CWM has also got a sideload install option

Because I don't know what app it is I have no idea what it did so what I would do is go to recovery and do the following command to every file you want:
adb pull /sdcard/Some_file.txt C://Users/Your_name/Desktop/Some_folder/Some_file.txt
If possible you can make a backup of the internal storage and restore when you reflash your rom or something if you have TWRP also moving the image file to your PC using ADB Pull.
After backing up you have to use this tool with your device on the bootloader menu: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occamjwr66v
You can restore your files afterwards but if you originally used a custom rom then flash the custom rom.
