[Q] Problem to start my phone - Oppo Find 5

Hello!
Have problems with my wonderful phone.
Starting with that I'm running custom ROMs, cm-10.1-20130813-NIGHTLY-find5 right now with TWRP recovery.
Now to my problem, if I turn off my phone to switch software, for example, so I start and keep the volume down.
Oppo logo pops up, then nothing happens.
If I shut down and restart my phone, it becomes the same thing, it is stationary on Oppo logo agian.
Waiting 10 minutes, my phone starts without any problem and CM10.1 logon turns up.
I have managed to update my phone and get into recovery.
Have both updated TWRP and CM10.1 to last.
Why does this happen? how do I solve the problem?
Is terrified of running out of battery or update right now.
Grateful for help!

When you reboot the phone don't hold down volume down, if that's what your doing. Download the the latest software for the Find 5 here: http://www.oppoforums.com/index.php?threads/4872/
Reboot to recovery and flash making sure to perform a full wipe. Instructions on how to update are in the OP of the thread linked above.

HELP! Bricked Nexus 7, cannot boot into boot loader

Hello everyone, I'm new in this forum and have just bricked my Nexus 7 .
I was not very happy with my Nexus 7 with JB version 4.2.1, it lagged and took long time to load apps etc. I used the Nexus 7 toolkit to unlock my bootloader, flash recovery and then tried a few custom roms. I eventually flash the official 4.1.2 firmware from google but the constant notification for firmware update annoyed me and I decided to root and get rid of the firmware update notifications by installing fotakill.apk.
But when I tried to root using the Nexus 7 toolkit, I chose the option to sideload the zip files for rooting automatically. It asked to flash my boot loader to a lower version (3.34, mine was 3.41) and afterwards it rebooted the device and eventually got stuck at a screen with these lines:
now send the package you want to apply
to the device with adb sideload <filename>
after a long time without anything happening, I suspected that things went wrong and pressed the power button for a few seconds and the device turned off. Now I cannot turn it back on, when plugged in it doesn't show the charging battery, also I cannot boot into fastboot mode by holding Volume down + Power button. The screen stays black the whole time.
I even tried to open the back power and pull the battery out and in again and try to turn on the tablet, nothing happens. I remember the battery level was like roughly 90% the last time the tablet was working, so I don't know what went wrong .
Hold power + vol down button about 30 seconds

I tried that but nothing happened .
Press all buttons on the side simultaniously untill fastboot/bootloader mode appears. This should work, no matter if your device is booted or not, or soft bricked or whatever. Then: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907796 .
If it doesn't work however (like after 30-60 seconds), then connect your nexus 7 to your PC. Go to device manager and identify your device. Does it say apx-mode or something like that? Then your device is possibly hard bricked and you might find some answers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879228 .
Your should not have used rootkits. Most of these topics appear after people using toolkit. Learn to use fastboot. It's the only program you'll need for the nexus 7. Yes, it's a command line tool but at least it forces you to think before flashing. For example, it was not necessary to downgrade your bootloader. I really don't get why you did that. Also, if you want to run a stable 4.1.2 without the annoying update messages, you can, for example, flash cyanogenmod 10. It's stable, very smooth, and way better than stock.

Thanks I did a search and finally found an answer. I was running fine on my N7 with PACMan and suddenly it got stuck booting up. So I booted into recovery and reflashed the ROM, and wiped dalvik and cache. When I rebooted it went to "Android is upgrading" like usual after wiping dalvik, then it got stuck there. So I rebooted again and nothing. Just a blank screen. Your suggestion of holding all the buttons down for 30-60 seconds awoke my Nexus. I'm going to wipe everything and start over.

[Q] Touchscreen Firmware Update in Process after TWRP

Hi, I just got my Find 5 two days ago.
Every time I reboot to TWRP whether to flash a custom rom or just to go to reboot system.
When I'm done, a black screen will come up with a white text "Touchscreen Firmware Update in Process" and the phone just froze no matter how long I leave it.
All I can do is hold a power button and let the phone reboot. Everything seems to work fine though as long as I don't go to TWRP,
I can reboot the phone normally.
Another thing is it takes quite a long time to go to TWRP like 3-4 minutes on the OPPO logo flashing (the logo flash twice) not sure if that is normal.
Is this normal? If not, how can I fix this?
Thank you in advance:good:
PS. I flashed my TWRP via goomanager

Hi,
Is it normal?
I don't know.
Is it common?
Yes, I too have it from time to time.
I believe it's harmless albeit quite annoying.

next 10 stuck on Cyanogen Boot loader

I''m new to the forum and not as advanced as you all, I have had my nexus 10 unlocked for some time and have been able to install and change roms and even get myself unstuck of a few small problems.
but I can't figure this one out. I updated my cyanogen to 10.1.3 and when I did and the nexus restarted its stuck on the cyanogen symbol when its booting up.. I let it sit there for a while and nothing, I then shut it down and started it up again and nothing.....I then shut it down started it up holding power and volume so I could go in that way and it is still stuck.

Try reflashing it.
I had an issue with GApps and Kernels and such, and it caused a bootloop. Kept using my Android 4.3 kernel on a 4.2.2 ROM... Did you downgrade from 10.2 to 10.1.x?

I have left it on that screen for a couple of hours and nothing. how can I just redo the entire thing.......????
I hope its not bricked, it also won't shut off, just keeps rebooting if you try to shut it off.

To get into the bootloader, hold Vol-Up, Vol-Down, and power. Vol-Up/Power is not the bootlaoder config. Then go to recovery, do a factory reset, and just flash the CM image and GApps.

if all else fails? Recovery bootloop issue.

here my issue.. so I'm using cm12.1 on my Canadian gaxaly note 3, and Im trying to reset my phone, which I thought would be just fine if I went to settings, then hit reset data function. in which it rebooted my phone, and tried to take me into recovery for whatever reason (likely to reset the phone..?) and its almost stuck there. it flashes like it tries to boot recovery and shows the team win logo for 2 seconds then shuts off and then displays the team win logo for 2 seconds and etc. etc, I tried to get it to download mode with no cigar, whatever button combination I do it always ends up booting recovery. cant turn it back on or anything. I plug it into my computer and it seems to not recognize it. I'm with virgin mobile right now and it's an almost 2 year old phone (got it the day after black Friday), so I'm guessing I'm out of luck for the manufacturer and the virgin mobile's help. Anyway I can fix the issue? any help would be appreciated.
Do you have access to a USB jig for force the phone into download mode?
What happens when you try to boot into download mode? Are you holding down the volume down, power and home button long enough?

Flash "CWM/Philz" recovery for your phone model and go-to recovery mode by some step:
1. Pull out batery.
2. Push in again.
3. Press "volume up + home + power" and wait ~5second.
4. You in recovery mode
I recommend flashing 2.8.7.1 TWRP if you can get into download mode in order to flash another ROM. CWM is outdated and no longer being updated.
If you want to flash back to stock, grab the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com.

SGS4 SGH-i337 boot loop. No recovery mode. ODIN works/sees phone...

I unplugged my wife's phone from its charger today and BAM boot loop occurs. No idea why. Of course she blames me cause I touched it and it breaks. Haha. So I tried pulling the battery no good. I attempted recovery mode and selected factory reset which after it did its reset the phone rebooted still in boot loop but now I cannot get into recovery mode. It just freezes or reboots when I attempt recovery mode. I just get the "recovery booting" message and then either phone reboots or it freezes. It is an AT&T SGH-i337 with lollipop on it. I spent about 4 hours sifting through XDA forums trying various methods using ODIN like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616221 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2407443 and here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2573080 but problem persists. At this point I could use a little help from the community. Maybe some down to earth help that can point me into the right direction or the right files to download and try. Currently I can put the phone into download mode and my computer recognizes it and ODIN sees it just fine. I've witnessed some crazy screen stuff like the matrix happening when I turn it on. Its weird. Sometimes when I turn it on and it sits at the Samsung Logo the background slowly turns green and gets all pixelated. It is very bizarre. Maybe that might tell you something. I'd really just like the stock rom back on whatever that may be. It was on stock but had been rooted using Kingroot a while back. At this point I'd prefer any rom, Kitkat or lollipop, CM I don't care. I just want the phone functioning.

Assume that you do not have any hardware issue.
Charge the phone.
First try the 10 sec methods to see whether you can go to recovery mode.
Press power button + home +volume up for 10 sec. when the phone vibrate release the power button but keep pressing the home and volume up until you see the recovery message.
If you can get into recovery but you can not revive the phone or you can not go into recovery at all, you need to flash the firmware via odin.
the only odin flashable firmware for lollipop phones are the kit-kat NB1 firmware cooked by Muniz_ri. You can get the file from here.
Muniz_ri cooked the firmware such a way that you can use towel root to root it.
Let see that fix your problem first.
