Cyber-SGS IV StyleThis is the ported version of the [4.2.2] Cyber-SGS IV Style FINAL Rev 1<MK/SN> (14/07/2013) All the hard work was done by cyberaprendiz, Spam his thanks button! I just ported this amazing ROM to our Cappy! As with any ROM, I am not responsible for any bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
This ROM will come in two versions, one will be based on Mackay, and the other will be based on Supernexus. Both versions will come with the Devil Kernel. I am by no means a developer and I will only update the ROM when and if cyberaprendiz updates the i9000 thread.

Just a few hiccups on my end so far:
-Insane battery drain
-Lag
Now I know the battery drain could be caused by a number of factors, but the lag was so terrible at one point that it took me over two minutes after I pressed the power button for the power menu to come up.
I thought it might have been Devil kernel seeing as how I have had lag and battery issues with it before.
So I played around with the kernel settings for a bit, but it was still a no go.
I tried a few other kernels ( Cyancore, Grear, Semaphore) still extremely bad lag.
I finally just re-flashed CM.
It's too bad, because I really liked the feel of this ROM.

Weird. Did you modify the kernel settings at all?
I wish it was running that good for me, because I really want to use this ROM.
I might try to re-flash after I get off work and mess around with it a little bit more.

install better battery status to know whats actually draining your battery.... if its the kernel wake lock or any app is draining your battery...
battery time is fine by me... not that bad after all...
which semaphore did you flashed? official or unofficial!?
also please give some time to rom to get settled! most of the times battery drains caused by media server app which is only a one time activity after a new flash!

Thanks for the response. I tried both version of Semaphore. I figured I needed to give the ROM time to settle, that's why I was going to try and re-flash it tonight and keep it for a few days. I thought about the wake lock as well.

Is your version of SuperNexus the same as SuperNexus M1 that we already have for Captivate? I'm particularly interested in Volume Wake option, not present in original SuperNexus.

I re-flashed last night and everything seems to be running good now. I figured tweaking the kernel had something to do with it, so this time I left it alone. Thank you for the Super Nexus version! I'll try this one out as well.
Maybe it's just me, but the Super Nexus version is giving me WIFI issues. Not letting me turn it on.

The goal here was to create a stock 2.3.5 feel for the cappy , preserve the customization options of Cyanogenmod, and add the features I felt were missing.

No need to odin back to stock before flashing this and GB bootloaders aren't required
if the glitch kernel freaks out on you... you may need a different leakage version. Source code and updates for glitch kernel, can be found in the following thread ------->http://bit.ly/pNkURn
CHANGELOG:
v1.3- Initial release and port from samsung vibrant, relatively untested
Seems interesting...i'll try it out tonight.
As shall I... I doubt many people here will get the KingKlick reference lol (I'm from way back... G1 days). Great to see you deving for Captivate, biff.
you guys are officially testers. Please let me know any bugs or issues you have. Cappy and Vibrant are basically the same so i think i pulled it off proper, but since i don't have the device, its not possible to know. Once you all confirm its as stable as it should in theory be, i'll push to rom manager and start doing biweekly updates.
Sounds good. I won't be using Glitch though, I'm currently testing a kernel of my own (in my sig). TK-Glitch was the dev of Gitch kernel btw
I will give a try also this night!
So I can flash this with gb bootloader and Samsung rom without the need to go back to froyo stock?
Thanks in advance

That's what the OP says. If you have issues, then they're most likely caused by your GB bootloaders. Give it a try, worst that can happen is that you have to go stock. (disclaimer: worse can happen if you really, really, really screw up and I'm not responsible)
+1. I have jvp installed. With gb bootloaders. Do I have to-
1. flash to stock eclair
2. flash to stock gb
3. just wipe and flash?

Sure thing. The ROM's been great so far, no issues except for a soft reboot, then when it booted it hard rebooted. Just a one time thing, and I've used the phone plenty since then, so I don't think it's anything to worry about.
Gonna flash here in about 15 minutes...i'll let u know what I think, preety excited for something different!

I've tested this successfully several times. You will need cwm to install so follow this link for installing the KH3 kernel with cwm.

Downloading right now ... will report back on experience.
Updates: Ok ... I am running it like from last 4 hours now ... did a little cleanup of samsung apk's using nitrality. pulled out framework-res.apk and kitchened it to add flying animations and modified a little bit on AOSP lock screen to fix the unlock/silence handles as the handles were dark grey but the rest of slider was light grey. So got that fixed.
So far so good. No problems except for the browser lag which I am sure is the result of de-odex. I am using a custom browser from market so major to complain.
Once again ... Thanks for putting this together.
Yes I love a stock theme. It will perfect if you mod the battery % too
Thanks
Thank you very much! This will be perfect on my Wife's Captivate. +1 for battery % included, and maybe choice of lock screen?

Wow! This is perfect. I'm still running a 2.2.1 ROM, I've yet to find a GB ROM that is clean and stable with no bugs or issues. The only thing I can think of that's missing is BLN, but I think that requires modifying the kernel, which I assume we can't do yet? I'd love to try this out, but I don't know if I can live without my back-light notifications!
Thanks blitz76 for adding battery mod
I will find the way to add Data toggle into Quick Panel and/or Extended Power menu too
good job man... one suggestion... please add some installation instructions for noobs
I'm going to give this a go. I really like the Aosp lock screen and everyone use sound toggle more than flight mode.
When you do updates would you consider doing no wipe updates for those that have been with you since "day one"?
Are you going to use crt's powermenu mod?
Oh and I don't know if you'd rather have the green Aosp launcher or not like on the nexus s.
But no matter what I can't wait to try what you've put together.
I am very interested in trying this out cause I loved being on KH3 except I had to do a lot of work every time I flashed to get it how I wanted it and this has pretty much everything... except BLN. I hate to say it but that's a deal-breaker for me. I recently flashed CM7 out of curiosity and was so close to flashing back to a trusted ROM because it was missing BLN until I flashed a different kernel. Now I'm pretty pleased but getting BLN on this ROM would bring me back in a second.

Strange, I tried to duplicate what you did and had no problems. I flashed v1.2 full wipe release, then cwm flashed the boog kernel II. It works perfectly.
I think that happens when the string values for extended power menu are missing, or the code in framework.jar isn't there.
Maybe try reflashing the full wipe release...
Got me stumped
Infinity Rom
I worked very hard and more than month for this rom. So please don’t use any thing and or mod by me without my permission.

Great! Yet another rom to try out I'll be waiting for screenies before I try it out. Just a question nims11, does this rom have the 3rd party facebook login problems like the other cm7 based roms? Since this is a problem to a Facebook freak like me, only Jusada's roms don't have this problem.
Nice work! Looks awesome..
good work..hats off mate

Thanks a lot nims11 for your efforts! Does this drain battery? Since the original 7.2 by Axel003 was not friendly with my battery. Hence the question.
So glad to see your work again bro. And even better on something completely original, witch is more than can be said for most stuff coming out at the minute. Look forward to flashing when my current projects are finished. It will probably be the last rom I flash on my phone.

I flashed this expecting awesomeness.
I was dead wrong.
This is BEYOND awesomeness. Awesomeness doesn't even reach the tip of comprehension of how HOLY this ROM is.
But I do have some personal issues:
> Because of the full transparency, lots of text are really hard to read.
But that's not forcing you to fix it, of course. I'm just an unknowledgeable end user
Other than that, I love it more than my children.
No, just kidding; I don't have any children.

Paranoid + AOKP+ Cyanogen = SCHIZOID
SCHIZOID is based on AOSP+CM source codes, custom kernel, and has all
the stability of CM, the ROM control of AOKP, and the UI customization of PA..
NOW WITH OnSkreen Cornerstone Multi-window capabilities courtesy of ANTIPHON!
FEATURES
ALL the features of SCHIZOID v1.20
OnSkreen Cornerstone thanks to the efforts of antiphon
Why Choose When You Can Have It All-In-One !!
[INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH
- Make A Backup
- First time users only: If you're currently running a non-CM10 ROM, do a full wipe (factory reset & system)
- Wipe cache and dalvik
- Flash ROM And Gapps
- Reboot
USER NOTES/BUGS
Everything works including camera, gyroscope, sound, accelerometer, battery stats, etc.
I had a problem with wifi initially connecting, but a reboot fixed it.
You should REALLY expect conflicts between the various ROM controls, especially the UI controls between AOKP and PA.
PA UI reboots may shutdown or hang. Just reboot, i.e. hold power key to restart if shutdown, power and menu keys if hung.
tbob's WebOS Switcher app may work, but be careful.
There may be problems with MTP and reading the sdcard via usb.
No wallpapers allowed. Cornerstone can't handle them.
You can choose to use the Cornerstone app or close it and get the stock interface.

Awesome!!will try this asap
Only wiping cache and dalvic cache broke superuser for me so I did a full wipe , (system etc.) And now everything seems to be fine. Thanks for the ROM shumash.
This looks incredible shumash. So what is about cornerstone that causes the battery drain to be 4-5 times greater?
Looks intriguing. I have been running OaT JB for a while now. Does this ROM require you to create the larger partition?

This looks pretty freaking cool! Do you reckon we'll see a 4.2.2 release?

Expanding the partition is a good idea yes. You will run into trouble down the road when the partition fills up.

Yeah a reboot seems to temporarily fix the problem .

Not sure that it is caused by Cornerstone after all. For some reason, now all my ROMs, including nandroids, have 20mA draws. I think jcsullins said something about having to refresh the drivers if this happened.

If I update the base ROM, I'll update this one.
Big ups to shumash for building this ROM. For those of you having problems connecting to wifi, go to Cornerstone settings and disable Cornerstone at startup. Don't worry you can manually enable it by clicking on the icon. Sometimes the Cornerstone startup conflicts with wifi startup.

Thanks for the tip antiphon. I could not get WiFi going last night and I was too tired to really mess around with it. I'll try your suggestion later today.
Shumash-besides me not getting WiFi last night, I thought this build was awesome. Cornerstone works great & appears to be very stable in your build. I used cornerstone back in the day and have been itching to use it again for quite some time. Thank you.
Shumash, this is beyond awesome! Dirty flashed over 1.20, wiping system just in case. Lots of apps installed (225 according to the after wipe count). Most of them working great with a few exceptions, like imdb that just freezes with a black screen both on main and on corners. Skype crashed at first, now after a few reboots works great. Only issue I have is the notification area frozen, but that started happening to me on 1.20 and I used to fix it killing system ui from rom toolbox, now if I kill it, it doesn't come back to life, will do a full wipe tomorrow.
Also, nova launcher runs on phone ui, ie, with search bar on left instead of on top, any known way to force it into tablet ui?
Performance is excellent, wifi is much better that what I'm used to on one of my two routers, so I'm loving that too.
So, nothing to complain about, congrats on another great rom, hope to see a 4.2+pa3+cornerstone soon but I'll trade the 4.2 advantages for cornerstone on 4.1 all the way.
Thanks man!
Shumash, thank you for improving this great ROM.
I was looking forward to cornerstone a long time and now I can finally use it on my TP :good:
But I have some issues/questions :
1. The lockscreen (pattern) does not work. I always get straight into android when turning the screen on. I disabled and re-enabled it but no chance of getting my device locked.
2. The launcher (Nova) shows up with search bar on the left instead of top and launch bar on the right instead of bottom (which destroys the ui, see the screenshot below) when using cornerstone, even after exiting cs. Rebooting without loading cornerstone it's ok.
3. How to move apps to other sections in cornerstone? I can't find the arrow button to switch.
4. TP doesn't charge, neither with stock charger nor touchstone even if MTP is enabled. In the build 06MAR13 without cornerstone it worked like a charm.
I wiped cache and dalvik cache and installed the ROM and GApps.
Keep up the good work!
slaecker
Great to see Cornerstone back! Thanks for supporting it again! Would hope to see more bugs being ironed out in the future especially the wallpaper bug.

(Take Backup of your current Rom)
-Copy the ROM into root of storage
-Wipe Data/Cache/System* ("*" = 1 or 2)
-Install the ROM in the System you want.
-Reboot into the ROM after flashing
-Wait for not more than 5 minutes

Any heating issues?
WOW awesome!Thanks!
No offence bro. But this isn't your work. Right?
volllaaaaa thanks man
Thanks!
We need to install nodeepsleep.apk I guess if we want to run it. What about the sensors? Working?
The reboot issue is persistent till we have the kernel sources so no point talking about it

Sensors are working Wakelocks are must to prevent some reboots during calls.
Btw no deep sleep issues seen as far.
It seems that it comes with Gapps. Just asking....can you make a possible build without gapps (not removing the apps only but also the libs and stuffs)?
If not its OK...no problem bud. You've already done a wonderful job
OK...just flashed and tested for a bit. Nice work. The issues I've faced are below.
1. Screen calibration is giving FC.
2. After finishing a call the entire system just froze. Had to restart it manually.
That's it for now.
What do you use for screen calibration. On MIUI ROM it comes up with *#*#6484#*#*. On other ROM?
---------- Post added at 05:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:04 PM ----------
An important query that will decide if I'll download it or no.
It has performance mode?
If no, can we adjust CPU frequency?
Like using 3rd party apps or in fact the inbuilt performance setting. It is set at 1.19 GHz. If u set max frequency to 2.23 it gets auto reset back. But than even performance governor doesn't works properly. Sometimes it will do, but like what u have set max frequency, CPU will constantly run at the max one. But after a whil sometimes it gets again reset.
So if we can use CPU properly to play games without lag, I may download it. In fact the above is the reason I have to use ASAP 4.4 as it has performance and normal mode options which works same as MIUI.
Kindly reply.

Yeah! But TBH CM11s is with few gapps. So, to maintain CM11Ss' originality I haven't removed it otherwise it would be like CM11

Whoa! Thanks for your concern, well I will modifying few apps that causes FCs. Please do tell more so that next build be the fixed and stable for every user. Call bug is because of the CM11 base I already told that I will switch base ROM.

Thanks for the info. Actually this bug is related to kernel, the ROM got the kernel used in every CM, AOSP and other 4.4.x ROMs. Wait till proper kernel comes.
BUGS AND SOME WORKAROUNDS
1.)Can't Unlock Lockscreen and have to Reboot Manually .
SOLUTION: TO Solve that you need to go to Settings - > Accidental Wake up -> Turn it off
2.) 1080p Front Camera Video Not Working
SOLUTION: Make it 720p
3.) Audio Low Quality at the first run
SOLUTION: Pause then Play an audio to fix it
4.)Incompatible Google +
SOLUTION: NONE
Overall this rom is quietly stable . I rate it 8/10
Umm.. What version of cm11s is this? I wanna try porting my own version too.
