Most of the TW base ROMs are about the same. I've used Omega + persues from day one and got great battery life.. (6hrs+ screen time with like 30hrs standbye). Onto CM 10.2 now tho.
Also--- this should be moved to S4 General I believe.....

arrow is aosp themed, is very beautifil, until camera is fixed in cm 10.2 a'm using this.
I think you should try arrow rom or crash rom. They are great, smooth and the battery is great.
But i think wanam 1.8 has the battery best. I can use 2 days with 4 hour on screen. But wanam 1.8 is the old ver.

Bes rom/kernel threads are not allowed here on XDA, as they become grounds for subjective debates on people's opinion.
Thread closed, and moved to Q&A.
Any suggestions to the best combination of rom and kernel?
My signature and default samsung kernel
Nice
I've always wanted to try that one, but im stuck with Foxhound 1.2 because of the theme, i really like the dark theme, makes it look more premium
I'll be waiting for D3NnNy to upload the theme only so that I can try other ROMs.
Latest Echoe rom and Lean Kernel for me
X-Note + Faux for me...

X-note!
Ive wanted to try X-note, is there any way to merge x-note rom and foxhound's theme? I dont want the stock theme, foxhound's dark theme really looks good

Dude, nothing beats stock roms

LG stock Rom is complete beast.
I had Sony Xperia Arc and the device got slower and slower for each official update. Marketing strategy.

currently my opinion is du and mahdi. Houston, omnirom and mokee. Their all in development but are pretty stable and fun to test. The first four have stocklike batterylife. Which is really good. And great performance.
I recommend to try them on for size, at own risk.
granted stock is awesome also

What is a good stock based rom with tweaks like debloated and stuff? I want to be able to tether unlimited like I can on my wife's note 2.

So this means i must flash stock back and stock is the best for G2
Oh yes can somebody tell me what is the different between D80210E_00 and D80210A_00 i know D80210E_00 is newest but what is new in this update does anybody have changelog?

Something almost everyone can agree is that stock is the best on term of stability. Rest of stuff that people tell you why stock is the best is just their opinions.

"What is the best ROM" "Which ROM do you use the most" etc are bad thread topics and will result in this thread being locked, Ask a moderator if you don't believe me.
Mahdi rom is the best for me, give it a try
As you can see, everyone has their own opinion of "Best" and this is why these threads are closed and not allowed
Only YOU can decide what is BEST for YOU by backing up and trying a few.
Hello
I uses Omega ROM for my s4 i9500. Omega stopped developing new ROMs for the s4 i9500 for a long time now. I'm wondering what is the next best thing? I heard that Aurora ROM is good, is that right? any other recommendations for a TW ROM?
Thank you!
