Hey All,
I flashed Jamal's Google Edition ROM, but now i wanted to go back to stock touchwiz rom.
So i downloaded official firmware from sammobile and flashed it trough odin.
It succeeded and started to boot
But then every app started crashing and the phone kept telling me this and that ended.
So i Flashed it again, only this time it got stuck on system.img.ext4
it wouldn't go passed it...
So after 10-15mins waiting i just unplugged and tried to flash again, but it keeps getting stuck on system.img.ext4
Any help is much appreciated!!!

You should have done a data factory reset after the first flash bro, that would have solved it. Can you still get into recovery and wipe the caches and do a data factory reset?

Do you have a jig to get into downloadmode? If not, pull the battery and try after a few minutes (5-10) reinserting the battery and you might try again.

Try to factory reset, and cahce reset, sometimes the rom can't start properly after some modifications, you will loose all your data but that could recover your phone.
Do a backup with a custom recovery before doing that and you can check if that works and after that recover your data.
Hey guys,
I have an S4 that is stuck on the Samsung logo. I have left it for over an hour at a stretch with nothing happening except the phone is smoking hot.
I have booted into Recovery (stock) and wiped the cache and rebooted with the same result.
I am completely stock and unrooted ... any ideas?
I would try a factory reset in recovery

See the Samsung guy at any Best Buy. He has the Samsung Tool and will reflash it for free. You will be back to MK2. Easier than fiddling with various fixes. This happened to my wife's Sgh-i747. Init.d prop build error. Recovery flashing updates didn't work. Odin didn't work. Kies same.

Just re-flash the stock firmware from odin. Use the pda button, check auto-restart and f reset flags only. Use PDA button to browse to the downloaded IMG file. You can get your stock firmware from Samsung-updates.com . just make sure you get the i337m or the i337 (whichever you have, as they are not the same) for your region.

So you say LTE dropped and you did another factory reset? If your APN settings are correct, then this shouldn't be happening unless there's a data block set on your account with your carrier. In this case, I would say something is wrong with the modem on your phone.

Figured out that it was the microSD card that was causing the issue. I used the program App2SD to move programs from my main memory to run them on the SD card. Somehow the files that were moved over corrupted the boot sequence somehow. Total chance that I removed the card to send out for warranty repair and tried to boot it one last time.
Hi,
Did a OTA upgrade to 4.4.2, and now ive got aloth of problems....

Try this mate , boot into recovery do a factory reset/Wipe cache and then reboot and Quickly press and hold power+Voldown in order to boot into downloadmode , Flash the stock rom and once its done... the phone should reboot automatically , and then Hold and press Power+VolumeUP that should boot your phone into recovery mode... Now do a factory reset/wipe cache and reboot your phone.. .Before the initial setup, Just dont do anything to your phone for atleast 4 to 5 minutes, Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup.

hi hon

i did download
I9505XXUFNB9_I9505NEEFNB2_I9505XXUFNB9_HOME.tar.md5
but used the BL_I9505XXUFNAD_481100_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 instead and i had no probs with it
i was facing the same problems but when i did Wipe partition data and factory reset/Wipe cache every thing was good.
now it's fast and good
so..
i have a g900f to resoft it.
i downloaded odin 3.12 and the latest android 5(yeah, 5, because the owner doesn't like the 6th android)
1)i started odin
2) i selected the software in AP
3)i turned off the samsung, started it in downloade mode(i forgot to activate usb debugging)
4)i connected it to pc
5)i presed START and waited
Odin finished it's proces, but the phone didn't go over "samsung"(when i turn it on). I asked a friend, and he told me that i can't flash an old android, if i installed android 6 Over The Air(yeah..the owner's phone updated it OTA)
OK...I downloaded the latesc android version, repeat the same proces, but now..the phone stucked again at "samsung" step when it was restarting. i reflashed the same version...and it worked. The phone starded to instal 270 files. i was happy, but..i picked up the phone, and the battery feld down when it was installing those 270 files. i put the battery back, turn it on, but it stucked on "samsung". i tried to reflash the same version, but it keeps to stuck in "samsung" step.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW!!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!! (

if you wanna answer, i have some quiestions:
1)after the next update OTA, phone's owner will make it(because she is noob..she doesn's listen to me to update it with pc), if the phone will have problems again, can i only wipe cache => wipe data/factory reset=> restart now to make it like new, from factory, or i have to flash the latest firmware with odin?
2) she will instal a lot of trash on it, and it will have lag and won't work properly.... can i wipe cache=> wipe data/factory reset => restart now to make it like new? (in this case, the phone is on the actual firmware, no updates)
right after installing the newest firmware N910TUVU2EQC1 using odin it would bootup pass the tmobile then straight to the unfortunately, system ui has stopped.
ive tried clearing the cache but that didnt work.
