Hi and thanks for the amazing ROM and thread!
I've got a problem here:
After my phone boots up, a process called com.android.media shows up in the phone's RAM. It consumes almost 15MB, prevents the device from sleeping and makes the CPU run at 1401GHz all the time. It's draining the battery really fast. Even after I kill it, it starts again. What does this process do? How can I get rid of it?

try use kgsl it alweys give me enoth ram, zram only icreese drain so i didnt use it
Thanks. Disabling ZRam did free some RAM (strangely). But why is my CPU running at 1401GHz all the time?
Another question:
Why doesn't HDR work on stock camera? It FCs when I take a picture. Is it a known bug?
What can I do to increase camera quality? I wish the camera could work as it was on ICS.
Last question:
Why does it take a lot of time to get past the kernel logo on boot? It gets temporarily fixed after booting in recovery, doing nothing and rebooting again. How can I fix it permanently?
By the way, anyone who wants a Sony look on CM should try the Xperia Z theme on Google play. It isn't free but it looks awsome!

I did wipe the phone and cleared data before i flash the roms. I know that stability takes time and just wanted to contribute so hopefully with the logcat provided some bugs can be crushed
Also the same happens with 10.1 rom. If needed i am more than happy to flush the phone and create a logcat of the 10.1 rom version.
Kind regards..

I haven't used MIUI much but I guess this is my chance to try both ICS and MIUI
would this work only on at&t version? i have international using on at&t
Its I.C.S Framework only, so don't get too excited, although I must admit, it's an excellent Rom, very smooth, and best Miui build I have tried.

I have exactly the same problem, with my international GT-i9100
the back button constantly goes back to home and i'm unable to get out of applications such as image viewer äfter i've taken a picture" settings... pretty much everything and i tried a full wipe + dalvik wipe and still the same problem, it's a bit to unstable for my liking but if that issue could be fixed i'd use this daily.

Quick fix for me was to flash to a different kernel...
i flashed it with the Siyah v2.2beta4 kernel, now works beautifully!
Just a little advice too, if you previously had 2.3.5 and older, do not restore from titanium. it will give you a ton of FC errors and your phone will not function properly, if not, at all.
Hi....
I am from Saudi Arabia...
Installed this ROM in my Sgs2 now. Network , WiFi , Bluetooth ...everything is working smoothly. Installed after a full wipe. ROM is only 119 MB & Installed so quickly....Thanks Buddies !

Well, I'm still not sure what the whole big deal is about this update for us.
It isn't more beautiful then a custom ROM. Even Sony told us that this isn't as fast as GB.
And their are still a lot of apps that isn't working correctly on 4.0.
I have it for only one reason. That is because I can't stand if someone with the same device have a newer software then me
Edit: I thought we should have the original unlock. But I have still the Sony one.....
It is no way smooth.. Everything works.. But isn't hardware acceleration supposed to increase the smoothness? I don't blame Sony. I blame Google for not fixing hardware acceleration right!
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
Try enabling gpu acceleration in developer settings?
Has anyone tried using apex launcher? It's probably way better than the stock launcher from what I've seen; like ICS but even better
Running official ics(rooted).its excellent. Very quick lag free compared to beta. I have frozen unneeded system apps and deleted bloatware. Very snappy
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
I love it.
I've been running the ICS beta since it was released and the performance of the final release blows it away on my Arc S. Getting it installed via Flashtool was a right PITA though - I thought my device was properly screwed at one point!
The launcher doesn't redraw like the beta did - I think Sony have made some memory tweaks in this area which is very welcome. I also like that they're shipping the official ICS Gallery app (and have renamed the old one 'Xperia Gallery') - the ICS Gallery app is so much faster than the Xperia one.
The ICS browser is in a different league to the GB one. I also love the Task Switcher, swipe notifications, music player controls, data usage monitor, new ICS calendar widget, GMail widget, etc. etc.
But Sony won't be able to please everyone. Some people were expecting the 2012 NXT UI even though Sony never promised it. These people will be disappointed. Personally I can't see what all the fuss is about - I'm sure someone will get the Xperia S music player working on ICS if that's what people want!
sooo smooth
so fast
i use baseband 70 with cm9
so fast sooo smooth >> perfect battery use
good new baseband

Why would they integrate S apps into the Arc S ? What would be the point in giving this years flagship phones apps to last year's ? Then it removes some of the attraction of upgrading , Sony is a business out to make money not provide users with all the solutions they want

First of all, congrats on the build. It's running much better than I could have hoped for, and I haven't seen a bug so far.
I'd like to let you know that the application I mentioned in the official CM thread a couple of days back runs properly on this build. I haven't had time to compile a proper test app for you, so I'll just throw the APK in here if you'd still like to test it. I'm suspecting it's an issue on 4.2, but I haven't had access to another 4.2 device so far. If you'd prefer I post this in the official thread instead, just let me know.
Anyway, the APK can be found here. The included fade animations turned out to have no effect on performance, so don't worry about that. The mere presence of the two backgrounds causes the application to grind to a halt, I noticed it in another app as well.

I have the feeling the battery drains pretty fast, also battery graph says WiFi always on which it isn't. Went from 80 to 30 % in 6 hours and 32 minutes. Screen on time around 45 minutes, pretty light use.

I cant confirm that after using it for 2 days now
A rather minor bug, but the hardware key LEDs don't dim with the screen like they would on CM10.1. I must say they're quite bright in a dark room.

oh thanks - thats because I still use the liblights from my AOKP rom
which supports separate settings for screen and keys
and that doesnt play nice with CM which only supports settings
both to the same value
fixed in next build
Dear Arc/S users
Althought we - Arc or Arc S users - use a smart phone that come out only two year ago we can't use our telephone without custom roms, because it is very laggy, and have got lots of bugs notification led etc. with 4.0.4 update. And some users including me have privacy concerns with permission etc.
I want to call attention to advantages Firefox OS on Arc S:
1. First, I saw this video. http://youtu.be/5MzuGWFIfio. In video Firefox Browser that was very laggy on my Arc S with Custom ROM is working awesome without any lag. And the phone in the video has 256 Mb RAM. Think this os how works fast on Arc S.
2. And all Xperia 2011 series except for Arc have a Firefox OS Development Topic. We have a topic too but is not improved yet, and haven't got enought attention. I open this topic for this stuation.
3. Boot in less than 6 seconds even in MDPI devices. (This Xda Topic) (Edit 1: Firefox OS open as fast as 4.0.4 stock dialer. )
4. The small footprint of a browser based operating system means that B2G should significantly extend battery life before re-charging.(This Xda Topic)
5. B2G will be the first mobile OS to use Do Not Track at the operating system level. (This Xda Topic)
Is there a way to do a backup and transfer messages and contacts from android to firefox and return ?
