Hey guys i created a zip that mounts your internal sd as external sd and your external sd as internal sd. So more space for swap link2sd and downloads and other things.

Hi, do you flashed it in cwmr?
If I want to revert back, is it possible?
Do I need to start from fresh, ie factory reset, reinstall my apps? Maybe I just need to use Titanium Backup to restore my apps. Is that correct?
I have 2 devices, nexus 7 and note 2 LTE. I guess this will only work for note 2 LTE. Is that correct?

Yes flash in cwm.
If apps are on external move them to phone memory.
Then reboot recovery.
Flash zip.
Reboot .
move all apps to sd .
View storage settings.
Thank me...

Please provide revert back solution
Revert is just install the rom again.
For example i flashed this on cm9.
Then to revert do this.
1. Reboot recovery
2. Flash cm9 and gapps
3. Reboot
Now u reverted.

Hi everyone, I know this is on some thread around here already but I'm kinda new here so,
I tried to flash team EOS jb rom + gapps on my Xoom and they weren't found ..
A message appeared saying , error mounting SD card or backup/path not found or something.
My xoom is rooted with stock rom ics, 4.0.4 and at first I tried flashing using rom manager , and no success..the n manually ..the same.
I can't backup current rom neither flash a new one.. I read about reflashing cwm , and I kinda got lost in there..
I moved the .zip files into the internal memory of the Xoom and the same...I got into recovery mode manually and I followed the procedure and again...no .zip
Files found not even on the internal memory.. as I said I tried mounting SD card, mount system and nothing...same error appeared..
So , I really appreciate any advice or tip or whatever helpful... thanks in advanced and sorry for asking something that many already know..have a good day !!

Which recovery are you using ?
Can you still access external sd from recovery?
Sent from my MZ601 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah, sounds like you're not using CWM recovery.
Follow the steps to install this, and flash via CWM.
I can't access SD card via recovery , it says error: backup path not found.. and error mounting SD card.
But I can access my external SD card using any file explorer , It appears normally .
Idk but , so when I rooted my Xoom I remember have flashed cwm via adb , cause I had to connect my Xoom to the PC and I remember a .zip file called something cwm , and tiamat ....so , should I go again and reflash cwm zip , and if so , which one should I flash again? cause my Xoom is already rooted and unlocked, wouldn't that damage the system?

You won't loose root. You are using the same fast boot commands to unlock your boot loader and install this recovery IMG...
Then this new recovery, flash eos ROM which is per rooted already...

Thanks Dude. As I told you earlier, I received the notification about the update but it was installed and it sent me to recovery mode saying : installation aborted...thanks I'm gonna flash the cwm img..

Hey guys! I need some help flasing this ROM on my Nexus 7, [ROM] Eclipse 2.1 Grouper - Build 1 - Welcome to the Dark!! (10/12/12)....
Every single time I try to flash it, it never works. I do the following, I install goomanager and flash TWRP recovery. I install all the necessary things to get it running. I transfer the ROM along with the zip file to flash google apps to the internal storage. I then boot to recovery, wipe/cashe/factory reset/devlik. But then I lose the files and cant flash the ROMs. I just flashed stock google jelly bean. Any suggestion/help with this?
Install Clockworkmod recovery, then make a full wipe and flash the rom

I find it easiest to download directly to my N7 "sd card". I use CWM but reboot to recovery, wipe data and then flash ROM from zip on the "sd card" and then reboot.

So, when I do the factory reset, it'll wipe the internal storage but not the 'sd card'?
Yes, only internal storage

Alright, now how do I get there? I used EZ File Explorer and placed the 2 zip files in the download file. Is that the correct place?
Any location is good, just to be on the sd card

I normally just leave it in the download folder. In order to flash it, you just go into recovery and do your steps. When it asks for a location, just direct it to the folder you placed it in and flash.
p.s. don't forget about wipe

Nevermind! I got it to work! I left it out in the root folder like you guys said and the file was still there after the reset! Flashed ROM to the eclipse ROM! Thanks for all your help! :victory: ^_^
Glad you got it to work, but to answer your question, you wipe first then flash the new rom (so you have a clean slate). You don't want to install over other roms unless maybe if it was a minor update of the same rom.

This might sound stupid to some but when I am using Fireflash.. it comes up in red letters that Im not on 7.2.3 (expected that) so I therefore tick the flash box. I then add the boot partition in and the recovery partition but do I need to add the zip file at the bottom? I have downloaded the correct zip file just not sure if it's needed yet.
thanks

You can, but you will lose data. Flash it if you cant boot.

ah that's confusing.. at least for me it is. assumed I was going to lose all my data anyway and start fresh.

No, installing the 2nd bootloader and twrp themselves does not erase anything, you can still use the stock rom.
Hi folks,
Yesterday i did some real crap... I switched from cwm to twrp, all fine. Then i wanted to flash cm 10.2 and i choose "Format data" in twrp. After typing "yes" i realizied i wiped EVERYTHING... I lost my cm 10.2 ZIP i just wanted to flash, my nandroids etc... Ok **** happens.
I sideloaded the cm 10.2 ZIP to get a working Android OS again. All seemed fine, except i lost all my data...
But last night i wanted to flash a New kernel and i tried to do a backup first. But now i can only choose "internal storage" With about 1,2 gig free space.
Did i lost my mounting point or something? I can access /sdcard with twrp file manager and i can flash zips from sdcard but i cannot choose sdcard as backup location. Also i cannot choose format sdcard (obviously )
What can i do to fix that? Do i have to flash stock userdata.IMG?
Btw here is my recovery log: recovery.log
Choosing "copy recovery log to SD card" works fine...
Thanks!

Use this in bootloader mode, you will have to do everything all over again: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occamjwr66v

Thank you! Can i skip recovery.IMG to avoid loosing twrp?
Is there no other way to recover my sdcard "mount"? From what i unterstand is that i deleted my symlink or something like that. I tried fdisk -l in console but i get nothing. I took a look at recovery. / storage.fstab and it seems OK. Maybe there is a wrong / missing Entry?
Thanks

You can remove the recovery from the zip file from where the flash all script is and also remove the name of the recovery in that text file.
Don't worry about that, the flash will fix it anyway.

What is the best way to get the most space out of internal sd when using safestrap 3.75?
I've done allot of reading but am unsure of how to do it, and if it's okay to wipe/format the stock slot?
If I factory reset the stock Rom slot I don't have enough memory for my ROM and all my apps on slot 1.
What can I safely do?
Thanks
