Hello, I am new to here sorry if this is an easy answer. Now on to the question...
I updated my Rom from the Illussion 4.2.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2338448)
to the Odyssey 4.3 Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402572).
Everything works great, accept the calling feature. It is just silent if i call someone or if they call me. I also tried another 4.3 Rom and it did the same thing; silence during calls.
Is their any way to fix this? or do I need to go back to my 4.2.2 Rom for now??
Thank you in advance!!

update your radio/baseband to the latest(.84b radio or one of the hybrid radios if you are using lte).
I have a 1337m gs4 and am currently on beanstalk 4.3 and love it.I was waiting for the kit kat canadian 4.4 rom version to come out and it did.
I installed the rom and it went on ok, but after the beanstalk screen finally loaded igot the messages unfortunately the process com google process location has stopped. it also says unfortunately the set up wizard has stopped. ive looked through the whole thread and cannot see anything regarding using a special kernel unless i have missed something, and the checksum was ok . has anyone encountered this?
I rooted my s4 i337 (bell, unlocked) and now I have no sound or wifi. I have been looking everywhere and have tried re-installing stock firmware, flashing kernel and I cannot get the sound or wifi working.
Info:
Phone:galaxy s4 i337 bell but unlocked
baseband: i337mvluemk6
kernel: 3.4.0-517283 [email protected] #1
knox says 0x1 and seandroid is enforcing.
android version: 4.2.2
When I update to 4.4 the phones lags too much to even use. 4.2.2 is smooth though. Data and texting work fine but if I try to make a call the phone freezes and dialer crashes. When I plug in headphones or try to watch a video or listen to sound the phone freezes and whatever app is opening the sound crashes.
Please help me.
Same problem I am having. Am working on solution as we speak. I may just go back to 4.4.2 as it worked fine for me. Long story as to how I ended up downgrading accidentally to get my phone working again lol. Will get back to you as soon as I figure it out. I am pretty sure we have to flash a different modem ( I am on 4.2.2 with I337MVLUAMDJ Fido Canada right now. Build number JDQ39 Galaxy S4 SGH-i337m)
Hey bud, I couldn't really fix the WiFI/sound problem so I just reloaded stock KitKat 4.4.2 back onto my phone and all is working very well again. I never really had a problem with lag or battery using 4.4.2 so I think I tempted fate enough and just went back to stock with root. Good luck and I hope you find a solution that suites you.
Hello Guys,
I'm with a problem in my #nexus4 .. If i update my device to #android 4.3 or newer my phone gets #bootloop and don't start anymore. I read a lot of tips to solve that but nothing worked. I tried to reflash with stock firmware from google (developers images to nexus devices) but didnt work (flash-all.bat), i tried use #NexusRootToolkit but happened the same situation. I tried to install the versions 4.3, 4.4, 4.4.2, 4.4.4, 5.0 and happened the same problem at all.
Someone could help me? Because i didnt find how to solve since a last year. I'm using android 4.2.2 because its the only one that works.
I tried all methods like flash stock rom, but, wont works. ....
Could someone help me with that please??
I have the same problem, can someone help ?
Any updates?
I have the same problem. I used to get the bootloop when I updated from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4 and from 4.4.4 to 5.0 and from 5.0 to 5.01 and in all those times, from what I can recall, a wiping of the cache/delvik + fix-permissions + install the modified boot image from NRT - solved the problem.
However - a couple of days ago, after getting the Google Cardboard and playing around with it, installing all the VR stuff and playing with magnets around my phone to get it to work with the VR - I think I must've damaged something because it suddenly died and refused to get back up and out of a bootloop. I tried the above procedures and it didn't work. I went back to version 5.0, then 4.4.4 and further back till only 4.2.2 worked, as with the first post here. It's the only version that doesn't give me the bootloop. If I try then to upgrade I again get the bootloop, whether it's a full flashing or an OTA update (to 4.3).
One thing I noticed with 4.2.2 - it's not acting all that well: when I download apps through Google Play some of them seem to get stuck at 85-95% on the download and won't install. Maybe I have a faulty storage issue...?
Any insight on how to fix that?? Any news from those who experienced the same issue?
Thanks!

I think it's a defective device. You have to repair or change it. Sorry
No Sensors
Looks like none of my sensors are working, judging from 3 sensor testing apps I've downloaded. Seems as if the motherboard is defective.

I made a similar thread, and found a fix.
Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/help/nexus-4-jellybean-4-2-2-t3472292#post68941174
Hej guys, i finally decide to ask you on the XDA forum because I really dont know what to do....
I bought my G2 ( d802) in Bosnia and it came with the Jellybean 4.2.2 stock. Everything worked perfectly but i wanted the KitKat 4.4.2 because of the Slow Motion camera, so i flashed a 4.2.2 stock and the PardusHD_Sensation_Black_v3.2 rom. After that my sound was terrible. When i listen to headphones everything is oke but when i play a song without them is really quite and the quality is really bad. Thats a problem but its not the main problem.
When I try to make phonecalls the person I'm talking with cant hear me well, the quality is really quite and bad.
Some minutes ago i tried to flash the Lolipop 5.0.2 rom "D80230d_00.kdz" but that didnt solved my problem, its still the same quality :S
Any idea or solution for that problem?
I am reading now over 7 hours on the internet to find a solution....
I installed 4.2.2 back over LG Flash tool but the sound is the same. At the moment i think that i dont get other system files ( sound modem,..) when i flash only a rom. Do i need to flash another baseband to fix this?
