[Rom] Liquid E Mod v1.6 [06/27/2010]

This Rom is based on the Acer_LiquidE_1.100.15 AAP
also the theme is custom - by me - using icons from other HDPI roms to match my MDPI theme
also many of the rooted and busybox is based piter and/or vache
Now this is my first rom for liquid - I wanted to make a rom that looked and felt similiar to my own build for 32a and 32b HTC magics - and thanks to vaches theme I have succeeded pretty well I think
Instructions (should you need these?) : Flash .zip using malez recovery - make sure to wipe data
edit : the clock in my screenshots is paid app beautiful widgets

Hi alan... i've finally got my liquid... i had 1.6 donut as i suspected but... is rooted now I've installed the lcr 1.6 rom I've tried to install usb and wireless tether and I get something like "your kernel does not support this". Is there any update zip for doing this so I could use things properly as I used to do on my old Magic?
I'ts a cool device... the Snapdragon does the job I've read one of your earlier posts and you said that your Liquid E has 512 ram mem? :O On gsmarena.com specs says it has only half of that and the only difference between Liquid & Liquid E is the "E"... the Eclair
Looking fw to using a Cyanogen mod rom on this device... untill then lcr 1.6 (soon 1.7 that looks pretty cool).

Nice to see new active member in Liquid community, maybe you can share your mod on modaco, so more people will enjoy it?

Regarding tethering.... Need to wait for kernel sources first before that can be possible. At the moment the leaked acer kernel should work for most things. With source we will see both oc + tethering

Which music widget/app are you using?

musicmod 1.6 is included with this rom

Thanks. Your rom looks great but I wish you used an Acer Stream port to put it over.
Once you go Dolby Mobile equalizer, you can't go back. Sound quality for audio without it is not very good.

im not a fan of having the status bar at the bottom or stream in general...
will include audio boost files in next release though...

Yeah I don't like that UI either but it can be turned off (at least it can in Vache's Stream port. Settings-->Applications-->User Interface)

mine is pretty fast compared to anything ive had on an htc magic

gps does not work it seems on the liquid E
will rebase off the rogers version when i get a nandroid of that rom

This Theme is ONLY for GOT_2.2.1
This is a screenshots sample of Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1:

Before doing anything take a Νandroid Backup just in case...
For installing Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1 you will need G.O.T OpenRecovery v2.0 that you can find HERE.
So download G.O.T OpenRecovery and extract it as it is on your sdcard (you must have on the root of your sdcard a folder named OpenRecovery and a .zip file named update.zip)....
Then download from HERE the Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1 and unzip it to your PC. Take the folder Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1 as it is and put it in the folder /sdcard/OpenRecover/Addons/Themes.
Close your Milestone. Get into GOT OpenRecovery v2.00.
Just to be sure make Wipe cache Partition και Wipe Dalvik-cache.
Then choose Stock G.O.T Feature menu - Theme Menu - Install Theme Menu, (tick [Χ]Τheme Framework, [X]Theme Apps και [X]Theme Fonts) and then choose Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1 and let it finish.
After make again Wipe cache Partition και Wipe Dalvik-cache and Reboot.
Now your Milestone will open with your NEW Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1.....
I have to say that i got some apps from nadlabak's Cyanogen 0.03b such as:
1) Phone.apk και PhoneConfig.apk (it has more options, like vibration when a call is answered etc).
2) Mms.apk (Also more options in messages application).
3) DeskClock.apk (Also more options for clock and alarms).
4) Contacts.apk (Also more options).
Known Issues: On some Milestones you mabe face a problem when you have the Pin of Sim card enabled. So if the phone, after you put the pin of sim card, freezes, you have to go back to the stock GOT 2.2.1 and disable the pin code and then reinstall my Mixed Theme...That problem occures cause of the Phone.apk i use to Mixed Theme, which is from nadlabak's Cyanogen 0.03b, and not the default Phone.apk from GOT 2.2.1.
Kalagas_Mixed_for_GOT_2.2.1 is HERE...
Good Luck... And don't forget I don't have any kind of responsibility if something happens to your Phone...

I think we must look forward and not backward....
So i don't see any reason to change again over 1000 pngs in an 2.1 ROM, as 2.1 ROM is almost belongs to the past...

The Milestone goes on Loop in bootanimation, with the image of the cyanogenmod and not the your image (android theme by kalagas) as before (when the theme worked well)
Can you make the same theme for CyanogenMod 6.1.0 RC1 for Milestone v0.03, please??

Sure, but unfortunately now I am too busy and as you noticed I have changed almost every icon on android Rom... so as you imagine it needs time...
patience and I will make it for Cyanogen too...

Froyo Mod 2.0.1 and Cronos V1.5.0 were been stuck at the bootanimation.

i know i know but since both roms are based on got´s leak this theme is supposed to work on these roms apart from the fact that both kabaldan and luca89 changed the framework thats why were stuck at bootanimation i was only stating a fact that it doenst work on froyomod, and if possible if he could rebuild it for this mod !

I will release this theme for all Froyo ROMs as the developers stop updating so often...
All developers work hard for bringing us the best results, but this is also a problem for me... You must know that I (don't know if it's right or wrong) change every icon in every app when I am themeing. So I don't take for example a themed app from cronos 1.4.0 and put it to cronos 1.5.0. I theme the app from beginning.
So when developers find the best solution for their Roms and stop updating so often then it will be the right time to theme...
So for now enjoy the work made by developers... and be patient as I will continue to follow the method I told above (themeing every app as it is in current version from beginning) just to bring to you the best possible theme results and to avoid any incompatibility from version to version...

In this way, you can find somebody (with more probability) that can study your guide and help you to theming fastly!

Still i am using from few working days,tested almost all the capabilities and situations but not getting any single bug and nor out of you mentioned..
Try this one too and tell about reviews.that helps me to make updates better..

hi there i can tell you the best thing at the min will be int2sd+ or D2EXT+ both need a ext3/4 partition and work well without slowing down our ace

In this rom i didnot used ics file manager..
Also there are so many plenty choices for applications just download oi file manager or es file manager have some more features..

Hello, I am here to hopefully offer a service to the Arc community that is running CyanogenMod 10 on their Xperia Arc's and Arc S'
I know from personal experience that it is difficult to sometimes find the latest fixes, modules and recommended things to install in the CM10 thread, so I hope to list a collection here for easier access
I will also try and keep this thread as up to date as possible
These tweaks and roms are for the FXP 145 but will probably work on other updates that come from FXP but I will update the thread to say whether they do or not

Is wifi tethering fix really from besttt? I asked him many times before but he could not help. So I think credit must go somewhere else...

I believe he took the mod from the "Old downloads" section and made it none version specific, so yes I believe so

Camera work around
Hi everyone, just a note that there is a Camera ICS downloadable from the Google app store that works just fine with previewing photos ect....
I am running CM10 mod on my Sony Arc without any problems, plus i just disabled the cameras that was in the ROM, another thing I noticed is I had to get a proper gallery manager from the app store but all in all CM10 mod is awesome and thanks for this page with the fix`s, helped me alot

my phone has 0% battery problem,but the latest cm10 fxp144 's kernel has not added 0% battery fix
so i can't use it,i'll very appreciate if you making a kernel for the bodys who have the same problem like me:laugh::laugh:
