Please help,
I9505 Damaged USB Port
Anyone know if a different replacement part REV number matters?
Most sellers do not provide the build revision #.
Ordered and fit replacement. (different REV) Hardkeys and hardkey light not working.
Refit original with damaged and unusable USB port, Hardkeys and lights workiing as usual.
Ordered another with same REV 1.9 i recieved a different REV again (NOT what i have ), fit and tested 2nd replacement, same issue of no Hardkey & Hardkey lights.
Replaced Original again, All working except for damaged USB as expected.
I have checked the pins, track etc are aligned, firm and correctly seated.
I am lost, anyone with actual knowledge or experience would be a great help and much appriciated..

FYI most Seller on that E seller site name the USB replacement as i9500/i9505 compatible.. Or send not the exact item on the picture..
My advice.. Ensure you purchase the exact series either for i9500 or i9505 the revision didn't matter in my experience.
It took me 3 orders from different suppliers to get one for the i9505.. Hope this helps someone..

Hey there im opening this new thread for owners of the new N7100 by Samsung in Mexico, I recently adquired mine and im enjoying it a lot.
lets move to the facts, i orderer it in mercadolibre at the same price listed in expansys. the advantage is that I don't need to wait for shipment an I picked it up by myself in the office of the seller, other nice plus is that the packages comes with the us power adaptor the one with the flat pins so I dont need to use extra adaptors like the european ones that comes with rounded pin conectors or the uk horrible conector.
The device come from fabric with an old compilation marked as UBALI8 without the multiscreen option, so I did a little research and I get form sammobile.com the lastest firmware for latam zone and now everything is working really fine, it was before but the multiscreen was absent. I left u a picture of the room im currently runing and of course works great in any latam country.

Hi everyone,
As in my title you can understand, i have a nexus 4 with broken motherboard.
My phone is purchased from U.S., but i'm living in Turkey. So i can't send my phone back to U.S. to change it to a new one.
I have another option, to buy oem motherboard and replace it self in my home.
So i found the motherboard BUT, there are T-MOBILE NEXUS 4. But my nexus from Google.
My question is, will it work, if i buy this motherboard and replace it with my broken motherboard?
There is no difference between the nexus 4 from tmobile or Google.

Call Google in these situations.

Does a Sprint Note 3 screen work on an AT&T/T-Mobile Note 3 ? I have a friend that can replace Sprint Note 3 LCD/Digitizers on broken Sprint Note 3's and was wondering if I could replace a broken/damaged LCD from an AT&T or T-Mobile Note 3 too? TIA
I got my answer via Samsung chat:
info: Please wait for a Samsung Agent to respond.
info: You are now chatting with 'Daisy'. There will be a brief survey at the end of our chat to share feedback on my performance today.
info: Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK1125601008151X
Daisy: Hi, thank you for contacting Samsung Technical Support. How may I help you today?
david: i have a galaxy note 3 with a broken glass.
david: can you tell me if the replacement LCD for a Sprint Note 3 and a T-Mobile Note 3 are the same?
david: or are they different part numbers?
Daisy: I am sorry to know that the device glass is broken.
Daisy: I would like to inform that the LCD for the Sprint Note 3 and a T-Mobile Note 3 are the same.
Daisy: Samsung do repair the device screen and fix it.
Daisy: Samsung provides one year standard warranty for the device from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, physical or liquid damage are not covered under warranty service cost includes accordingly.
david: so then the screens for a CDMA Note 3 and a GSM Note 3 are the same?
david: if so, can you provide me with the part #?
Daisy: I will explain you David.
Daisy: Samsung does not sell any spare part and we do not recommend to replace or repair the device LCD screen.
Daisy: It may void the device functionality.
david: yes
david: i understand.
david: the work would be performed at a local repair facility
david: however I was told that the LCD for a Sprint Note 3 was different than a T-Mobile Note 3 and was provided different repair costs.
david: this is why I'm trying to see if it's in fact the same part for every different carrier variant of the Note 3.
Daisy: I would like to inform that the Note 3 model is same for all Carrier.

This helped me a lot i was looking for a replacement for my N900W8 and was confused as what to buy, now i understand if you order the LCD only it can be istalled to any note 3, however if you happen to buy it with the frame then im afraid you'll only be able to install it to that specific carrier/model you bought it for unless you also buy the usb flex AND the corresponding back cover for that frame. Thank you for this post OP

This makes alot of sense. I was wondering why there were n900A and n900T assemblies on ebay that said they weren't compatible with each other. So I guess to get the best price, it's wise to buy the frame and the lcd/digitizer seperately and just use the self adhesive on it for a quick install. I'm glad to hear the connections for the lcd will work perfectly with the main board.

Sorry if this bumps this but I found this tread via a google search so I want to set the record straight that if it part includes the frame around the glass and LCD the parts are not compatible and could have a price difference.
Friends, there is a major hardware issue in most of the Note 5 devices. If you test S Pen by dialling *#0*# then it misses some portion on screen( centre top in my case). You need to apply more pressure to write on that portion. I have tried 4 Note 5 devices. First model N920G bought from local Samsung retailer in India worked fine. Second device model N9208 duos imported model from Malaysia on Ebay also worked great. Third model N9208 was also imported one bought from Ebay have the bug. So i sent back the device and got refund. Final N9208 was also bought from local Samsung retailer also has the same defect. So i got the DOA through Samsung service center and waiting for new piece as it is currently out of stock.
Please check by dialling *#0*# and comment if yours unit have the same defect. Also here is the youtube link https://youtu.be/apoaEyqiKV4
Not experiencing any dead spots or pressure issues on my N920W8 using the test tool.

Then you are lucky.
None of the 3 I've owned has that issue.

I've got the problem too, but don't see it as big of a deal, it's only slightly more pressure needed and the portion of the screen with the issue is just so small idk..
