What's my model? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How I can know my phone model?

The Nexus 4: there is only one model if I'm not mistaken.
Otherwise in the forum they would have been different sections for development purposes between the phone like Verizon Android development, Sprint Android development, etc

look on your box (when you purchased it). on the box of my dad was written i9020-T.
it should say the exact model on the sticker on the box, above the barcode, i think.

Model numbers different?

Is there a different model number for the t-mobile nexus 4? Or is it the same as Google play's model?

Pretty sure it's exactly the same. I've even read from multiple sources that the Tmo nexus devices are not locked to Tmo either.
Are they any more expensive buying from T-Mobile at retail price?

I would like to know this as well. Can the 900A be rooted at this time and if so what method can we use?
As this forum is for the international variant, you'll need to check out the AT&T Note 3 forum. There's a method in Original development over there to root the device.

The most reliable way is to remove the back cover and look under the battery. It will have "Developer Device" printed on the phone. I would not rely on information reported in "About Phone".
Bummer I don't have one...
