I have just recently got myself a galaxy s4 and up to now it has been great until i went to use the video recorder at night and found out that the flash doesn't come on and the recording is very dark so i don't suppose anyone knows how to get the flash working with the video or if there is an app that i could download for it to make it work.
Thanks in advance
Russell

Thanks for that just gave it a go and the flash came on, i think that is really silly on samsung's part, you would of though that the camera would be able to detect low light conditions when using the video camera.
Thanks again

You can find it when you open camera app and go to Settings->Focus Mode, there you can choose between Auto focus, Macro and Face detection. I bet this is in the user manual as well.
has anyone had any success playing around with the panoramic camera feature? My only problem is that it is only focused for the first image.
Focus on infinity
Focus on infinity is required, in simple words, your focus on the closest image should be beyond 20-25 feet. Also, make sure your lens is clean
The rest is just toying with it until you understand the camera/setting

you have to slowly scan around, if you do it quickly, it'll be blurry or look out of focus.
It works fine when HDR is off, but if it's on, I have to wait for the camera to pick a new focus target, clicking doesn't do it.

I should hope it's obvious that the box in the background isn't in focus, the foreground object is (the one that the autofocus picked up). Anyone else seeing this?
Try wiping the gallery data (yes the camera is an activity which belongs to the gallery).

Did wiping solve this ? because I tried but nothing changed and has anyone else experience this ? Because I do have this since I first bought this phone HDR manual focus is not working at most times but auto focus works just fine.
Has anyone seen this before?

It seems like as it tries to focus, these coloured lines flash about on the screen.
I bought the Note 3 from a company on eBay, so could look to return it, but could it be software related? I tried Camera Zoom FX and it doesn't look like it happens.
You can see it in recorded video too -
I had these lines before and I managed to fix by turning off the wifi while using the camera.
Second solution is changing the router channel to 6 or below.
After the latest OTA from samsung the lines just vanish. (MK2)

Hope it helps

Thanks, glad I'm not the only one...
Clear the data and cache for the camera
Turn off WiFi
Use another app.
Usually these three or a combination of them helps.
Hi there i am searching for the color app.
