This is a really kiddish query, still I wonder which colour you prefer. I mean is there any different texture between the colours? I am coming from a Note 2, and in this phone the Grey version had a slight horizontal texture in front and back, but the white one had not. But if I see photos right I see that S4 has textures (those dots) on both colours right? Or the White is just plain, like Note 2?
I love both the colours btw, white just a tiny better
If you're planning to get a flip cover for the S4, there are many colors, so you can plan ahead if is white or black that fits best to your desired cover color.
No I don't plan to get that show off garbage, sorry. If I ever buy one it'll be for protection.

Yup it also has the texture.
I wanted the black at the beginning but was given a white one because they ran out of stock. The color grew on me and compared to my sister's black S4 I like the white better. White also minimizes fingerprint smudges so it looks cleaner compared to a black one.

I wanted the white one initially, but ended getting the black because of stock as well. But after seeing my friend's white S4 I started to like more my black, as it feels less "brightly" IMO, also I think the black is more manly and premium . But it's all personal , I'd recommend you go to a store and check both .

I used white b4 and then came back to black looks more rich white is very common nowadays thats my choice thought

Title says it all, I got to look at both colors today, and they are starkly different but equally appealing.
The Black has a lot more pronounced texture on both the front and the back, and refracts light very much like the GN2 Titanium Grey.
The White's texture is more subtle, and the phone has a very clean look. In sunlight, it doesn't refract as much as the Black phone.
I typically go for dark finishes, because I like dark bezels to help contrast colors on screens, but the shininess of the black and the white are almost equally distracting, but both somewhat unique.
Feel lame this is one of my first posts here, but enjoying reading and learning alot in the Rooting AOSP forums here.
My S2 is black, and my S3 is red, so I got a white S4.
I went with the white. I find that the white phones show less dust and grim stuck in the cracks around the bezel over time...

I love dark phones. They just look sleeker. I had a Black S2, Blue S3, and now Black S4.
I like how the sensors blend in with the black.
I got the white version. I love how crisp and clean it looks, especially with a clear case, it just looks amazing in my opinion. :highfive:

I have note2 right now, but I like to get the S4 as well.
Black S2, White S3, White S4. Going to look at the black to see if it's worth the $36 bucks to swap.
I grabbed the black. I like that you can see the detail more in the phone and I also always seem to exchange lighter colored phones for dark whenever I get them.
ordered the white version but still debating which one looks best.
I'm gonna get black because verizon tells me which color to like.

If you hate fingerprints on your phone, then the white one is best. But I think the white ones look cheaper and more "plastic" in appearance. The black ones look better to me.

Verizon says I can have any color I want as long as it happens to be black....
I'm getting a black phone, of course. I'm a man after all.
I like white phones but I rely on the LED notification a lot!
I notice that on black phones the notification led seems more pronounced with the darker surrounding background, on my white S4 I sometimes miss it when I glance at the phone from a distance.
Stupid reason from some but it's a real good reason to choose black for me.

I'm thinking white, my Iphone 5 is white and has the same black bezel around the screen, making it look smaller, but I don't really mind.
White looks a bit more trendy and different. I've only had grey/black phones so up until now and I'm in love with the iphone's white looks. The G2 looks really nice in white too - grabs more attention.
Only one thing - do you think the silver paint on the back buttons might wear out faster?

The white looks great, but beware! If you plan to get the same case (which is awesome btw) or any other white rubber case, it will slowly turn into any color it touches the most. Eg. mine is slowly turning into blue, because of my blue jeans! I keep it in my pocket.
Doesn't look that bad, but maybe some will hate it!
I have a white G2 with a black Diztronic tpu case and I love it. The white looks really nice and doesn't show fingerprints without the case.

I have white in all honestly I love the phone in white it makes the screen and everything pop out more for me. Granted notification led doesn't look the best compared to the black model but I would definitely go for the white. Most people have black anyways and with most cases being black now it just doesn't look good with the phone being black. I have the otter box case and black on white looks amazing with this phone.

I was gonna buy the white one because the black version didn't look good in videos and photos, but when i saw it close up i was convinced to get the black one.
I went with black.
Black and red tech devices makes my heart glow.
Thus, black G2 with a dark red matte case makes me happy.
White with a white case works for me

White is nicer looking imo, also better for browsing, drawing, note taking. Some prefer to watch movies on a black model, but not seen much use there myself really. Also the fake leather looks better in white. Several reviewers mentioned the white one looking better, none so far preferred the black one. White backgrounds on the screen of the Note 10.1 costs no more energy to produce than a black one.
With amoled on a phone I prefer a black device, seeing a black themed screen saves energy and phones are somewhat low on battery power.
I picked up the previous 10.1 in white and did not like it so when I purchased my 2014 10.1 I made sure it was the black one.
White looks better and goes well with any color cases

I am considering the white model because it looks better than the black one, and I had the same initial concerns about the back getting dirty... However, after seeing them both in person, I'm pretty sure either version will be very easy to clean if it does get dirty. After all, it's only plastic and the texture is not very deep.
Am I the only person who finds the white border with chrome being distracting?

I prefer black for my gadgets. White just reminds me of outdated kitchen appliances. Never understood the fascination people have with white electronics. Also, I've seen too many white colored devices get discolored over time... not sure this textured back is going to hold up to grime over time very well.

I like white, and got a white note I've never had my white smartphones or tablets get discolored, maybe those people just didn't take good care of their devices, like leaving them in the sun in a hot car. It's personal preference though, go with what you like.

You honestly won't notice the black border unless you're trying to find it, lol. I never noticed it until you guys pointed it out. White looks great. I have a white Note 3, which is why I decided to get the white version. Another reason is due to fingerprints I read about. The black apparently is known to be a fingerprint magnet.
Agree the border is no issue at all did either noticed it before someone here mentioned it and I really looked for it. I picked the white because it released first, but think I would have picked either way, I like the color.

i got my White Modell, but not fully aware.
On Full Screen Videos, example in Youtube remain black borders at the top and bottom of the screen.
That does not fit in contrast to the white model (black bars).
It would be nice if you could hide the edges of the frame, but that will probably not go, because of the resolution (16:10) of the display?!

I had the white model but then exchanged it for the black model. The features of the OS go much better with the black. Once there is a ROM for pure Android I think it will go much better with black than white.
White no doubt like the LG G2 its shorter brother it looks better in this colour'

No, a white phone is not girly. I had a white Note 2 and it was awesome except when it was getting dirty. I still don't know too which color to get, but I'm leaning towards black. They both look awesome IMHO.

For me it comes down to fingerprints. My last couple of phone have been white and white is what I've pre-ordered.
Last year I bought two Galaxy S4's. The white for my wife and the dark blue to me. I had both near me most of the time and was able to compare anytime... It happened that I liked the white so much more than the "black" and now everytime I have the chance I'll get the white one. ?
But.. Obviously it's a personal taste. There's no better or worse. And I agree with the above post, there's nothing of "girly" on a white phone.
Edit: it's stupid I know but two or three times I dropped my s4 on the floor because it was over my laptop keyboard or over the closed lid and when reaching out my laptop on a dark room I didn't saw/remember it was there. That's another really really personal reason I'd go with the white. ?

lol. both black and white are neutral colors, both man and woman can get those color and fit with it. the only girly color for note 4 is blossom pink.. i guess

I had a white Galaxy S3, Note 2 and Galaxy Camera and I liked them a lot, but decided on a change to black for the Note 3. It was then I realised that black is better for screen contrast especially when watching videos. I've never had a fingerprint issue and I feel it just looks more premium.
So my answer is: White is not a girly colour, the pink obviously feminine and possibly even the gold in my opinion. The black Note 4 looks more premium and that's the colour I have ordered!

This! It goes so well with the Samsung TW this time and in general i really like Note 4 much more in the white color.
I got black Note 3 when it was released and i wasn't crazy about it, but imo Note 4 looks so much better in white.
I also have white Tab S 8.4 so they will go great together. And no i don't think that white is girly. Pink is for the girls.
I have a white note 2. I am glad I chose white and did again on the note 4. My wife has a black note 2 and the black just seems to show any scratch or dirt more prominently. It's kind of like a car. A white actually shows less dirt than a black. They are both nice colors though so it is just personal preference.

You have a point. Makes me think twice in getting the white one. Currently have the grey note 2
I ordered white, usually have mostly black phones as well. But my note 2 was white, note 3 was black so now going back to white. I feel like the phone pops out more which is great for such a powerful little beast.

I went black this time. This huge phone will get enough attention as it is. My s3 is white. I am not a huge fan of the contrast between a black screen and the white bezel.
