I have Note II N7102 with dual SIM from china . When I try to go into download mode (volume down+power +home) it will not go to download mode instead I see screen with chines writing and I can't continue.
Any idea?
N7102 is a replica from China, i think you cannot access to download mode as original N7100.
Be carefull to flash a Original N7100 rom on a replica.

Are you aware that Samsung makes a N7102 ?
With the information that i have i think is a replica from china.

The N7102 is dual-sim there is no need to mention it is the duo cuz there is no N7102 with only 1 sim.
N7100 = Standard
N7105 = LTE
N7102 = Dual-sim

You should check Mobile Odin. Maybe your device is supported. If it does you will have to root with SuperOneClick.(google it)

The writing is just what you see on a a normal phone exceot in english. I think you need to press the volume up button And it will enter download mode.
I have flashed custom recovery on 3 different 7102 phones. I dont own any so I cannot remember exaxactly what recovery is supported but ir should be on the n7102 custom rom thread (here in the general section.
To our friend who says its a replica the n7102 is a chinese market only phone that cosr nearly double your n7100 so no replica there.

After you see the 'chinese writing', push volume UP, worked for me.

go into download mode (volume down+power +home) now in this mode and press volume up button , now u r ready to flash rom via odin. But careful to flash proper rom . I flashed prerooted rom on this model GT-N7102 and its a official samsung model. But u will not find any component for GOOGLE in this fon coz it is chinese model.So root and then flash gapps but search here in xda for have a proper guidence. Hope u ll do better:good:

yes this is also what happened to me, when i press volume up, it will go to the bottom option, which is restart....
what i have experienced also, currently on my phone the internal space left over said 150mb, which is not allowed me to even update the existing apps, but when it connected to pc, it said i still have 900mb space.. it's just make me curious to know how to override this situation, so please if there is someone who have survived from this, please let us know.. thank you.

Try to flash stock rom, your phone will be not only fixed but also freshed. Just go to or search sir Doky's thread, the steps are very simple if you follow it correctly.

Edit- So I finally got a custom rom to boot. Using the x note rom with one of the custom kernel options. Any devs out there that can take a logcat or something that can possible fix the incompatibilty with the rom and hardware? My camera and data are not working. Was thinking I would restore just the modem from one of my backups and see if that would get data. Anybody out there that can read a logcat to fix this?

If stock then go to samfirmware.com click on firmware database then fill the required detail and select country India you will find there

I just checked and firmware DDLSC is available there do this step login to samfirmware.com and click on firmware option you will see three option home, check your firmware and firmware database click on firmware database then four option will come to choose first select type and click on smartphone and select os click on android then select model no GT- N7000 and then select country india-INU page will reload and you will find ddlsc firmware click on it then download it simple

I have tried from that site too sir. Same problem. I even searched on Google and tried the top 10 results before posting here on xda.
Search in xda using the term "SWEET INDIA ROM"
you will get a stock deodexed and rooted rom staright away...

Are you sure that this is the European stock, I don't think so , l think that this is a middle east & African stock because when I go to clock app , it shows some Arabian & African cities like Dubai, Cairo , Cape Town , Johannesburg ...etc and many languages are deleted but the European ( or international ) stock has Paris , London , Barcelona ...etc and has many languages pack .
So if you did understand me where is the hell is this stock backup , I think you're European and know how to get one

There is no Dutch version. This phone is never released by HTC in Holland.
The 1.56.401.1 is the main EU release

It is working fine. However i think you didn't wipe all you need to wipe cause it doesn't show up the configuration part and the default language is polish.
