Red Exclamation when trying to boot into recovery CM10.1 - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had my Nexus 7 unlocked bootloader Rooted with Stock 4.2.2 with TWRP. Tried to go back to stock factory unrooted 4.2.2 using nexus 7 toolkit so I can update to 4.3.
The factory restored failed with Nexus 7 toolkit and I was stuck at fastboot and was not able to do anything but fastboot. I managed to flash the bootloader again with TWRP and install cm10.1 and it worked and boots normally into cm10.1 but when I try to reboot into recovery I get an android with a red exclamation and cannot go into recovery unless I flash the bootloader again and then it go into recovery.
If I try to manually download 4.3 or 4.2.2 stock images from google and try to flash with "flash-all.bat" it starts and then fails
Any ideas on how I can flash stock 4.2.2 or 4.3 or how I can get the bootloader to work again?
P.S I have tried to flash the latest TWRP an CMW bootloaders and they will work the first time installed but will not reboot back into them once I'm in cm10.1
Cheers

Nexus won't boot properly after flash

Hey guys, I flashed SmoothRom via that app goo.im, and when I did it, it said that I needed a compatible recovery, so I flashed the one that it recomended. Well I flashed the rom, and now my Tablet won't boot properly. I can get it to fastboot, but even when I try to flash a recovery from fastboot, it gets stuck at the boot screen (Yes my bootloader is unlocked). I've been trying to use the Nexus 7 toolkit to flash the recovery, and it is saying that it is flashing successfully, but I still cannot boot into recovery. Any ideas? I know I'm not totally bricked cause I can still get into fastboot, I just need recovery to work so that I can flash a new rom and fix this issue!
Fixed it! Just flashed the stock recovery, wen't back into fastboot and flashed CWM. Mod's you can delete this thread now

[Q] Stuck in Fastboot mode - fresh image

SOLVED!
Well, after installing 4.2 OTA update on my Nexus 7 everything went fine until I installed Franco's kernel from his app.
Then I got stuck on an infinite booting process. I tried to re-flash the OTA .zip but I got an error because of the modified kernel I had just installed.
In Franco's official thread I read that the problem got solved by flashing the boot.img included in the OTA update, so I extracted the "boot.img.p" in the zip, renamed it to "boot.img", turned the tablet in fastboot mode, connected it to my PC, in which I'm running the "Google Nexus 7 Toolkit", and flashed that boot.img. Instead of solving the problem, I've got a beautiful "Booting Failed" line in the fastboot mode.
I decided to go further and do a fresh install. I downloaded the 4.2 factory image directly from Google, and flashed it using "Google Nexus 7 Toolkit". Now I can't even access the recovery mode.
Is this toolkit what is messing things up? What would you recommend??
EDIT:
I re-downloaded the factory image, and re-flashed using the Toolkit. Now the process ended pretty well, but now I'm on a boot loop (the X has been glowing for 15 minutes and counting). Then, rebooted into bootloader mode and Installed the CWM recovery using the Toolkit. Rebooted into the new recovery, and after a full wipe, solved!
Hope this helps to someone someday.

4.2.1 Update error, now I can't boot.

As a disclaimer I was on rooted stock 4.2, with 160 dpi. Restored backup of build.prop then went to install the system update (worked fine that way from 4.1.2 to 4.2), rebooted and almost instantly had the Android recovery logo with a red triangle and said error. Stuck on that screen, so I held the power button to turn it off, then when I tried to boot it up I just get the Nexus logo and it never boots. I went to bootloader tried to boot into recovery (clockwork) and it said it wasn't there or something.
What are my options?

A couple of things. You could boot into the bootloader and use fastboot to flash a custom recovery, then flash a ROM from there. Otherwise you could download the stock 4.2.1 images from Google and use fastboot to flash back to 100% stock and start over.
Wug's Toolkit may come in handy here if you're not comfortable or familiar with all the command line options.
Think I'm just going to flash the factory 4.2.1 image, will I be able to root 4.2.1?

[Q] Stuck on Google Image, and no progress after selecting Recovery from Bootloader

I was booting up after flashing Modaco 4.2 and I was on SmoothROM 4.1.2. The tablet would not boot so I assume I flashed the ROM incorrectly.
I turn off the device and then boot into FastBoot. After selecting Recovery from FastBoot, it gets stuck on the Google Image.
Please help. Thanks!
