Anyone have an issue with the phone locking after charging?
I'm rooted but stock. Occasionally while my phone is charging for an extended period, the phone locks up. The notification light blinks or still works, but the phone won't turn on until I pull the battery.
I have removed a few apps using titanium, but no crazy apps.
I have the same problem as well, only difference is that I'm running a custom rom with most of the bloatware removed. Makes me wonder if the reboots are caused by the an app that was removed.

Hey guys, I'm having major issues with my battery meter. What happens is it sits at 95% all day and when it runs out it just dies without so much as a low battery warning. It used to work fine before I rooted and flashed another kernel onto the phone. I have since flashed the stock kernel back on and removed the bloat ware but the problem persists. This is somewhat of an inconvenience so if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them. Thanks!

Take it to a store and describe your problem. You'll likely end up with a new battery. If it still happens, then something else is wrong.

My phone screen started staying on while charging about three days ago. Not full brightness but the brightness that it does just before going out. So I did a fresh install deleting everyhting and the screen would turn off again. So I put everything back on and it was still working correctly. I did a backup through rom manager and now the screen is staying on again during charging. I restored and screen still staying on. Any ideas how to fix this? Kind of hate having screen stay on during charging or manually having to turn it off once put on charger.
Thanks!

What kernel are you running? Have you installed anything new right before this started happening?

Check Applications > Development. There's an option to make the screen turn on after going on the charger. You might have that checked on accident.
i had the same issue. i don't know if it's something specifically with the rom or not. it happened whether i was using the stock kernel or the ziggy's kernel. i'm on cm7 now but i never did find a solution. hopefully it's something that's addressed with his next/last update to skyraider sense.
Yep it was setting problem. No idea how that got checked. But for future reference.....

When ever I go to plug my phone in to charge if I plug it in and the screen isn't on the phone locks up and a battery pull is required to reboot. I'm on stock gingerbread 2.3.3 no mods themes root or anything. Is any one else experiencing or noticing this problem while running gingerbread?

Yup... Sorry it's happening to you, but glad to know it's not just me! But, that helps us narrow it down to being something in the rom itself and not a mod. I've been trying to get a log to see what is going on, but so far the logs just stop the instant I plug it in... No errors or anything. I've just gotten in the habit of of making sure the screen is on! Lol

I'm experiencing this too.. I've found that if you have the ticker grip sensor enabled you can manually turn on the ticker then expand it and the screen will turn back on.

You may have something running. I know the phone can get hot at times due to the quad core CPU. If you hold down the home button you can swipe apps to kill them from running in the background. Holding the home button down for awhile brings up the task manager.

Thanks, I kill all the app like that, also have betterbatterystats and nothing seems to be out of order. the proble it's worst when I put the phone on my pocked.
mine does NOT get hot, or even that warm (screen on in use gets warmer than phone/battery during charging), i have UV'd the CPU *slightly* but it should not get 'hot'. maybe check out Temp+CPU and see how hot its running. Im usually around 31C, same as battery.

Does anyone see "com.carrieriq.iqagent" wakeloke in your LG G2? It tries to search GPS everything I make a phone call or some other system operation. It drives me crazy...
that would be carrieriq that is a nasty little thing that was found on the g2. It was killing my battery like crazy. There are 7 different processes that it has running and there is a thread here on the forums to disable them.
Could you kindly tell me which thread you used? Thanks
