so after a few rom flashes and such, i decided to go back to stock and update to MF9
phone booted up, all good....
phone ended up dieing.
then it would not boot the phone up.
samsung logo would pop up for a split second, then disappear.
so i went to odin, so i can flash the stock mdl rom again.
everything went smooth.
phone was booting up.
got stuck on sprint logo.
so, i decided to odin BACK to stock AGAIN.
phone still gets stuck on sprint logo.
im not an idiot with phones.
but this has gotten out of hand.

Try wipe data in the stock recovery (not odin or twrp) Ive read somewhere that worked.
Factory reset in recovery and you should boot up. This is another reason why you should have at least one nandroid.

Hi guys,
I know there are threads on this but I would like to start a fresh one just so I don't get confused.
Basically I was running Paranoid Android no problem and then I downloaded the MODACO Rom Jr9 and flashed that, it was working fine with no problems then I thought to flash Motley Kernel r25.
It did that fine then I clicked reboot and it is now stuck on the Nexus logo just flashing. I panicked so opened up Wugs toolkit 1.5.5 and "Flash stock and unroot".
It downloaded the files from Google and the CMD window popped up and I got this,
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It then flashed to the next screen saying that it is waiting for the device to boot up which it didn't. It just stayed in bootloader.
I did it manually and it is still stuck on the Nexus logo. I can boot into TWRP and I have tried clearing the cache etc but nothing is working.
Please help me if you can.
Sorry again for starting a new thread but I think it would be best for me to understand if I am not reading through other posts right now!
I have just tried this guide...

I have just tried this guide again and it seems to be working. Will update when it is done.
Thanks guys anyway.
I was on Clean rom 4.3 for a bit, and then decided to revert back to my nandroid backup of Codefire 4.2.2. Now, whenever I try to access my dropbox I get this error message: "storage full or unavailable". Also, my Gallery is now empty. Something's happened but I'm not sure what. How can I get these things to work again?
Thanks for any help!

Something not indifferent also happened to me on more then one occasion when flashing back to stock would show only 6/27.5GB available. Rebooting into recovery and reformatting corrected it.
Hi, what do you mean by reformatting? Reflashing the nandroid?

Thanks for the screenshot.

You can reflash your nandroid afterwards and it should properly recognize your internal.
Ok, thanks for your help!

So, how do I get the nandroid back on the sd card? ADB push?
Ouch.
I'm having same Dropbox error.
Guess it's time for a good wipe.
The more I learn about 4.3 the less I like.
hi ty .. i got bootloop on my n4 ..i can enter into recovery, fastboot mode .. flashed stock roms .. and still same ... here is some pics .

and if i can enter into recovery and fastboot that is not a hardware problem or ?
Wipe Data entirely, Wipe Dalvik and Cache and Try formatting the storage too, then flash the stock ROM.
Remember to Wipe Dalvik&Cache after flashing too
If i can into recovery and fastboot that is not a hardware problem ?
Thats not a hardware issue. Either update your recovery or flash a whole different (latest) recovery. Then try flashing your rom again
Im asking because i got this after i dropped it
I had similar problem: in recovery screen worked, Twrp was working but when i rebooted it, it went to bootloop. Display was the problem. Curiusly with 4.2 it booted and i could send sms or anything else but occasionaly it frozed. 4.3 or higher did not want to boot, just bootloop.

Not clear whether "trying" means you succeeded or failed. Given that ambiguity there is always this:
Flash a pure stock (Samsung factory) ROM using Odin and start from the beginning. You have nothing to lose as your phone was "hard reset"
Thanks for your concern but where can I download it easily cos I try downloading it from sammobile but no way
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
You might have to buy a membership there (sammobile) - I recently tried downloading with my freebie account and it didn't work. (It is possible that was due to my browser type or ad-blocker issue though. I was using both an off-beat linux browser and multiple ad blockers. Someone recently suggested that might be the trouble. I didn't investigate further.)
Do you know the android version and the firmware version?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930V. It has installed Android 7.0. Some months ago I'd installed ENGBOOT to get root, but I want to get rid of that. The phone is too slow, WiFi doesn't work, and I have a padlock on the boot screen as shown in the picture.

I alredy flashed the stock ROM with every file (AP, BL, CP, CSC), wipe data, wipe cache. And it stills showing the padlock on boot screen and WiFi is not working. How can I definitely remove the ENGBOOT?
Try this ROM for a modified non-rooted experience. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...sungpay-norootrequiredtoinstallorrun-t3748755
I realize this is pretty late - but in case someone else needs this answered :
The trick to removing the padlock on newer phones / firmwares is once you flash stock via Odin and perform a factory data reset, let it boot to the system and go through the setup wizard like normal. Then boot to download mode afterwards. Once you boot back up, the padlock will be removed.
