I am comparing the Samsung Camera app to the Google Play 4.3 camera app and the night shots are night and day. The Samsung Camera takes much much better night shots. Is this the same experience everyone is having here?

The link below has a semi-working port that gets the Samsung Camera onto 4.2.2 pure roms, not sure if it works with 4.3 roms. Maybe you can test it out:

I'm really amazed at how the Samsung Camera App's night work works so well. I tried changing the ISO and exposure setting in the GE Camera and there is still no comparison.

Root the device and use an app from the play store called fasterGPS. It was then only way I could fix mine.
Not sure I understand the problem, are you inside when you are trying it? GPS only works properly outside or with few objects above you.
Adfad666 gave me thé solution and everything is fine now !

I'm noticing this problem for past few days, over WiFi I used to get 220/230 KB/s, but for past few days it's averaging at 60-75 KB/s, when updating or downloading apps. When you open an app then the photos load at full speed, but then the actual download speed becomes slow. Anyone else noticing this?

Hi everyone, someone can tell me why I have Google analytics service running background ? Every time I'm trying to kill it, it come back .. Is there a way to disable it ? Look the screenshot
Envoyé de mon Nexus 4 en utilisant Tapatalk
install Disable Service and kill it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
The thing is that I just have this service now and never had it before .. Why is that ? Have you this service too ?
Envoyé de mon Nexus 4 en utilisant Tapatalk
yes, it's the first service to be killed after rom install
Wow okay ! but when I updated my ROM to 4.4 stock I didn't have this service, it's only since I put the cataclysm ROM ..

I am running n5 port and I don't see that.

I didn't have the service running, but I did have it in my list. It makes me wonder if it's one of those opt-in messages you get when you first open Play store? I can't remember, but I usually wouldn't turn something like that on.
Yeah that's what i thought.. I don't know where it come from.. and i don't like disabling things that can be vital to a function that i use.. Since it's Google Play Service, well..
I tried to freeze the google service via titanium back up but unfornately when u wil freeze it the google playstore wil stop working....sad...

I did a quick AnTuTu benchmark of my OnePlus today.
I've made some customization to the device from stock, but I am still running the stock CM11S ROM.
The results speak for themselves.
I just benchmarked as the best performing mobile in the world. (according to AnTuTu)

Nice!
Got a invite yesterday status is on pending shipment right now I held one yesterday its a beast!
It's a great phone, especially after tweaking.

Here are my results. I was using stock rom and franco kernel
Stock.
Well that was short lived. I wonder if my DPI tweaks have something to do with it. I will retest and advise.

I benched it a few days ago
Stock + Greenify
Here's mine! Stock rooted w/ xposed
This phone has wicked performance. I played around with DPI a bit on my phone and that had a minor impact on results (around 1000 deviation at most). Also I found you can drive the results up a bit further if the phone isn't too hot - which makes sense.

just curious about performance, what about those Optimised Libraries (Bionic or smth like).?
as for Nexus 5, after installing (flashing) Optimised Library and Dalvik Binaries (or smth like this, not sure about the exact name ) it BOOSTS A LOT performance and the score in AnTuTu. so just curious about One if it needs those, or already on board.?
(yes, for ART no need for Optimised Dalvik)
btw have someone tested the AnTuTu on ART vs Dalvik, is there a difference between.?)
(maybe with ART we could get over 40.000) :fingers-crossed:
