I have Wi-Fi problems with 4.3. Seems to disconnect and be sluggish at downloading. Anyone else?
Also seen some strange flickering sometimes in apps.

I'm having the same issue with the Wifi connection being dropped on both my Nexus 10 and Gnex with 4.3, both were Ok yesterday but have started acting up this afternoon
EDIT: Ok it seems the problem was with my router! Guess I should have checked that beforehand!
I have experienced something similar. Reported in this tread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2384328
I have not noticed that I drop wifi but notice in Chrome (99% of table use is with Chrome) that sometime when I click a link, open a bookmark, or a direct URL that it sometimes just sits and spins for anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds. I never get a timeout and indication I have lost network but it takes forever. Its really random, some pages load extremely fast (few seconds) but sometimes those same urls load really really slow. Don't notice this on my phone (on wifi) or computers and never noticed it on my N10 with 4.2.2. I did a full wipe and installed the 4.2.2 image then accepted the OTA yesterday to see if that would fix it. I'm not sure yet. It seems better but I had a least 1 case where is was slow again last night. This could have been the website so I need some more time to determine if it's fixed...

Although early in the experience curve, on my system You Tube videos are constantly stopping and restarting, waiting for the stream. I rarely experienced that with 4.2.2 so am hoping it is a issue that resolves itself.
Interesting... I find that WiFi has improved on my Nexus 10. At home, my Nexus would drop the network connection periodically and then reconnect about 5 seconds later. So far on 4.3 I haven't seen this happen.
I have no problem with WiFi on 4.3
I've had WIFI issues for as long as I've owned my N10. It just recently stopped working (couldn't reply in hangouts) so I turned off WIFI. When I turned it back on, it would just say authentication error. I had to reboot the N10 to get it to reconnect.

I noticed the ytube issue too. I changed from auto to 2.4ghz under advanced and so far seems better but not sure yet..
Well no luck with 2.4Ghz. The issue is very sporadic, sometimes everything works great and but then all of a sudden Chrome takes forever to access a new url. I have determined it's not Chrome, it's just that is what I mostly use on my tablet. I have seen this several times in Youtube and so when this happend i grab my phone (on wifi) to see if it could be network related but everything works flawlessly on my phone. I started doing some speeds tests to help troubleshoot this issue and the wifi performance is across the board whereas it's very consistent on my phone wifi. When I had one of these delays last night I immediately switched over to my speedtest.net app and it reported that it could not access the internet! My wifi signal indicator never indicates that I have lost wifi. Definitely something strange going on here. I have already factory wiped my tablet twice (originally going to 4.3 and after to troubleshoot this issue) and it never happened on 4.2.2 or on my Phone wifi there had got to be an issue with Wifi on 4.3. Just wonder why more people are not having issues. I might try swapping out my WAP but considering all worked great on 4.2.2 and it currently works fine on my phone wifi that would frustrating if it turns out to be my wifi.

Followup: The YouTube slowdown continued and after a few hours the internet connection became so slow that it would take several minutes to load a single web page. My internet connection on my Mac acted normally during this time. In the end I could not even get text pages to load in the XDA app. After rebooting several times, cleaning caches, turning wifi off and on, cycling thru the wifi advanced options and flashing the Monkey kernel I finally gave up and restored a Rootbox nandroid backup. My roadmap to the 4.3 install was: formatting all memory (including data/media), restoring my rooted stock 4.2.2 nandroid backup, and then fastbooting the JWR66V from JDQ39 OTA zip file. I then re-rooted by installing Chainfire's Update-SuperSu-v1.43.zip. I have no idea what I did wrong with the installation but will wait with 4.3 until updated 4.3 custom roms become available. Currently I am very satisfied with Rootbox so waiting is not an issue.
Has anyone with those problems tried to turn on/off WiFi optimizations in advanced WiFi settings?

Yes, tried that and it didn't help. I'm now torn between going back to 4.2.2 or staying on 4.3 cause I just picked up a Miracast adapter... Man i hate it when they create new bugs with things that had no issues in the first place!
I figured out that my laptop makes the wifi on my nexus VERY slow.

I have found that switching to my 5 ghz setting on my Asus router has solved this issue for me.

Ever since I installed the Wifi based TW ROM I have had issues with the wifi stopping. The issue continues with the official rom (with root and deoxed). It is set to be on in software but says disconnected. If I reboot device it works fine again.
Anyone else have this issue? I am very close to going back to stock even though I like the new way of doing notifications.
Same problem here. Simple way to solve it to enable and disable Airplane Mode... But yeah.. its really annoying. So any fix would be very helpful.
I've had the same problem recently. Did either of you install the free wifi server app that the Amazon store offered a day or two ago? That's when it seemed to start so I just removed it so see if that fixes my issue... here's hoping!
Same problem here, but it just started the day before yesterday. I've had Touchwiz since a day or two after I bought the device (almost two weeks). Hadn't thought to toggle airplane mode, thanks for that tip. Beats power cycling every morning.

I had similar issue with the stock Galaxy rom. Since the TouchWhiz update however, it has been running extremely well.
So after uninstalling the WiFi File Explorer Pro my WiFi has worked fine without any connection issues. Just like before and after TW. I also had a weird issue that wouldn't recognize finger presses on the lockscreen after waking up once every 10 to 20 times.
If you installed this app or something similar it might be worth a shot to remove it.
Hey guys, I'm having an issue where my Atrix keeps disconnecting the data connection every few seconds whenever I start using data (browsing, youtube, google music, etc).
When the issue first started I was running ATT 4.5.91 with 01.77.15 Baseband. So far I tried factory reset, reflashing baseband, CM7 Ba2Tf, and right now I'm running on ATT 4.5.133 rooted and deodexed, with 01.77.36P ATT Baseband. I did the update to 4.5.133 and the current radio via CWM after wiping cache, dalvik and data. The problem still occurs.
If I keep my phone idle, it stays connected (blue bars, blue H+ icon and arrows beneath it).
A few seconds after I start browsing the web or using other data intensive tasks it keeps disconnecting the data connection at frequent intervals, every few seconds. It doesn't drop any signal bars, but the H+ and bars turn grey (lost connection to google servers) and doesn't show the Up/Down arrows below H+, meaning it disconnected the data connection. After a few seconds it connects back and everything turns blue again.
It's really annoying and I'm out of ideas. I have tried reflashing everything, another rom, another radion, also tried setting the apns by hand, all to no avail. Some insight would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Sounds like an app problem. The new market did this in it's earlier versions. Would have to reboot or go into and out of airplane mode to reconnect data. What apps are you using when it happens?
In my case, CPU Tuner was causing this behavior.
I think I've set it up incorrectly or something and as soon as I uninstalled it the problem went away, but will try it again soon.

Thanks for the help, guys.
In order to test for an offending app, I cleared /data (factory reset on CWM), cache/dalvik cache and installed the latest CM7 weekly. I did not flash gapps and did not restore/installany third party apps.
The issue still appeared while browsing the web. Then I restored my current rom (att 4.5.133) and left the phone sit for a couple hours. After a while I did a few tests and everything was normal again. Then I went to bed after testing the phone for about one hour and when I woke up the issue was back. Could it be that my carrier has anything to do with it? I'm trying to get a hold of another carrier's SIM with data enable to test it out.
I had this exact issue. I was running CM7 Ba2Tf for several weeks, no problems. Then all of a sudden, my connection to google would drop for no reason at all.
The H+ & signal bars would turn white, indicating that I still had a data connection to AT&T, but no connection to google. Every time I used one of the gapps, the connection to google would drop. This was especially apparent when I was using google talk.
I cleared caches, data, re-flashed, wiped, etc..., and the problem persisted. There was absolutely no way around the problem. I'm baffled that after completing clearing & re-flashing everything, the problem persisted.
I could not find a workaround. I am now running a fruitcake variant, and do not have this problem. I really miss CM7, and am curious to hear if anyone has found a legitimate solution.
It looks like this is not a new bug either. Check out Cyanogen mod issue 3557.
I know that this thread doesn't have much action, but for what it's worth, I don't have this problem on Jokers ICS Roms.
It appears that when this problem manifests itself, it's somewhat rom specific.

Sounds strange, but I had the exact same problem after I installed Chess for Buddies. I removed the app and everything went back to normal. I do miss playing chess though

I have it on Turl's ICS.
That's crazy! Did you have it the instant you flashed the ROM, or were you able to run for a few days?
What were you running beforehand?

I think those having this problem should try removing APNs they are not using, thus only leave the one you are using.
I was having this issue on any application that would load up the GPS, as soon as I deleted all other APNs and just left the one I needed I never had the problem. I think part of the issue is when GPS connected it would quickly knock me out from data but on reconnect it would try the standard ATT APN versus the mvno I am using.
Probably won't help for everyone but that was my solution and it has worked on various ROMs I have tried (Blur, CM7, CM9).
That's a solid observation mastermind.
I would to add that the evening before I started seeing the issue, I enabled tethering on my cm7 the (ba2tf). Pretty much the next day I started seeing the issue.
Perhaps something got screwed up in the APN settings when I tethered. Up until then I hadn't seen the issue.

Really weird, doesn't seem to happen when the tablet is stressed or something. On the other hand happened more often with heavy memory stuff like big pdf's and when i live youtube videos loading, maybe I have an issue with the 2 gig's of ram? it's there any way i can test that?
Sometimes the tablet isn't doing anything an restarts. Like when the home screen is blocked. Anyone else had this problems?

I would suggest you try flashing the nexus 10 factory restore image and see if that fixes things. If it's still randomly rebooting I'd send it in for a replacement.

I'm getting the same, please keep us updated because I'm hoping it's a software issue...
Got some of these too. One of these was really freaking, I had to force a reboot. I definitely think it's software

i have also problems. Sometimes when i usw Chrome, the Browser don't react and then the screen goes black and i have to push the button on top for five seconds to reboot my nexus. Had this problem three times. I,m hoping for a fix...
Happened to me twice already! Wtf

Guys, I think found a pattern: Each time I get a reboot seems to be related to the wifi connection, like if the wifi freezes the tablet. Pay atention to the wifi settings when you get reboot / restart the tablet it's like searching the wifi connection like crazy, but, if you reboot normally the wifi it's already connected. Seems like a clue to me.
I played like 4 hours yesterday Chaos Rings. Seems like a really advanced game to me, so the stressing test is passed. It's not related to stress IMHO.
I've been getting random reboots too. Took several attempts to get all the way through setup right after taking it out of the box. At first I thought maybe I just hadn't given it enough time to acclimate to ambient temperature or something, but problem has persisted even after flashing the factory image via fastboot. Haven't noticed a correlation with wifi, but does seem to happen mostly when idle. Have also had a couple freezes and shutdowns, too.
Guess I'll be calling Google this morning... Argh.

I actually haven't had any reboots yet. I haven't stressed it with any games, but installed my normal apps and used it for web browsing/xda for a couple hours and no problems for me (yet...fingers crossed)
Called Google, and after being on hold for almost 1/2 hour (I'd imagine they're pretty swamped) explained the issue as well as what I've already done to try to resolve it (factory reset, fastboot recovery image flash) and they started the replacement process without any additional questions.
Just my luck, the first time in ages that I buy a device the day it comes out, I end up with a dud... Hopefully I get the replacement quickly!
I'm really nervous at this point. Mine is perfect aside from a piece of dust in the screen. Google is sending me a new one, but now I am afraid I will get one with more issues.
no more reboots here. But i think it's a software problem.
I have had two unexpected reboots. One was about halfway through ep. 1 of Planet Earth. I don't recall what I had running the other time.
I'm still running stock 4.2, unrooted.
Somebody postes useful info.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998496&page=2
Mine rebooted then rebooted three times in a row before even getting in the desktop.
+1 Reboots
3 reboots in the past hour! Location svcs disabled.
Sometimes under load (gaming), other times just random.
I've had the 4.4.2 OTA about 2-3 weeks now, and for the most part its worked fine but as things go on I am noticing it starting to go a bit buggy. I have had issues with my Wifi, like this morning turned the phone on and it would not connect to my wifi, sure it saw it and it had full strenght but it would not connect to it, I went in manually and selected it nope nothing, I forgot network and connected again, nope nothing, restarted the phone nope, after 5 restarts it connected. I've also had issues with wifi connecting when coming out of airplane mode, everything else turns on but I have to mess around with wifi to get it going again.
Also had issues with apps crashing randomly, also had periods of sluggishness for no apparent reasons.
Anyone any ideas?
About the Wifi, try the Wi-Fi fix in this forum, maybe that'll help. For me stock is going absolutely fine. I was on OmniROM, but the updates start becoming a little buggy for me, so I switched back to Stock.
Hi guys, just received my HD8 2017 version 5.4.0.0, i installed Google Play Services and of course, Google Play Store.
The system in pretty smooth and everything is working fine except for browsing: for some reason, on some websites it takes ages to load and sometime it won't load completely.
The fun fact is that i've got this problem with Silk but also with Google Chrome or Firefox.
I suspect the problem is somehow related to hardware acceleration but i might be wrong.
Is someone else experiencing that same issue?
Update
Appartently, the issue is somehow related to my wireless connection, i tried with another connection and the problem was no longer there.
The strange thing is that every other device in my house, android and windows, work just fine with any website.
I ran a speedtest(.net) on both my home wifi and my work wifi, which are both well above 50mbps connections, and seem to be capped at about 3.5mbps dl. When I switch to a mobile hotspot that I create with my GS7 Edge, I shoot up to about 35mbps. Any ideas as to why there would be a difference? Thanks!!
Yup, having the same issue. Would greatly appreciate any ideas as to why.
I'm using one and connections take what feels like 10 seconds to open. When I open a URL it takes that long before the page starts to open, then much longer before the images load. When Amazon pages update, there's a long delay as well. Seems to affect more than just the browser. It reminds me of what a connection with very high latency would feel like. I've tried resetting to factory to no avail.
UPDATE: @boom1995 gave me an idea to try out another connection. I fired up tethering on my phone and connected to that. It seems to have solved the problem...immediate page lots now. I guess there is something odd with the home wifi...even though my laptop works fine with the home wifi. Weird!

Yeah i don't know why this happens. It's kinda random.
