How can I add notification shortcuts ( wifi, bluetooth,.....etc )( like that of CM7 ) to status bar on official froyo rom ?

one easy way to do it is to write an app that has persistant notifications that link to those settings. so you will always have a "button" in your notification tray

Notifications can take different forms:
A persistent icon that goes in the status bar and is accessible through the launcher, (when the user selects it, a designated Intent can be launched)

What I was talking abt is A persistent icon on status bar.
I thought This could be easy but I was wrong, it's difficult.

Regarding NT.apk, It's very good app But i wish it has direct access from status bar ( I mean when pressing for ex. WIFI, it opens another screen to activate WIFI )

You mean like clicking the batter icon or the clock in the status bar and going to those corrosponding settings? There is no method for achieving this. If you try that now you will see that the notification tray starts to slide down.

Maybe someone else knows but im pretty sure that cant be changed or added without modifying or changing the current rom. Or a home screen replacement (never used one so im not sure)..

I'm on a rooted Nexus 4 with stock 4.3. Could somebody please help me out with a few questions?
First of all, how do I dismiss a notification that says "This app is currently running. Touch here for more info" without completely disabling notifications for that app? Like in the first attached picture.
Second, when 4.3 leaked, there were all these screenshots of a Notifications menu and of a Notification History menu. I can't seem to find this anywhere within Settings. Where can I find either of these? Like in the second attached picture.
No as of now you can't remove the notification its a 4.3 feature.

That is just plain stupid. What if multiple apps are doing that? Then my entire notification bar is full.

Hi Guys,
Was wondering if anyone knew or could direct me to the proper place to get a transparent status bar (currently using Jellybeans Rom V1). Also if anyone know how to get rid of the pop up on lock screen for SMS's coming through. I remember on the S4 you used to download a root explorer go into system/app/and disable keyguardwidget.apk but I don't see it anymore.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone. I'm currently using the latest version of C-ROM. When my lock screen comes up the status bar or notification drawer is still showing and I am unable to get rid of it. The reason why I want to delete it is because if you click on a recent notification or hit settings it unlocks the phone without a passcode! Anyone else figure this out and have a resolution? Thanks!

thr might be an option in Setting > Lockscreen/security for enabling this.
otherwise u should report it to rom developers cause it seems to be bad bug

Update it!
Scroll down to ABOUT DEVICE section in the settings and tap "search for new updates". SETTINGS>ABOUTDEVICE>SEARCH FOR NEW UPDATES.
This will make your notification panel transparent but the WiFi will stop working! if you're willing to sacrifice your WiFi connection for the transparent notification bar then you're good to go, else, don't update. i'm facing this problem and have searched almost everywhere in the internet but can't find the fix.
Let me know if this bug is solved.
