For some reason my flexrom partition got corrupted and I would like to low level format, a normal format in cwm can't repair it. Currently I can only install rom that do not touch flexrom. Is this even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have your cuid number, you can go to the ics recovery thread, and nvflash the patched ics boot loader and recovery. I believe this will format all partitions and wipe the tablet clean leaving only the ics patched boot loader and cwm recovery.
Had to do it on mine yesterday as the leaked 501 updates fubarred all internal memory. No biggie.
Thanks for replying again moscow, I tried this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522384
I think that's the one you were talking about. I don't know why but my tab doesn't wake in "download mode" as specified. I do put it in apx with the reset/power combination but nothing happen when I enter my sbk. Strangely I can use apx with timmydean's 3.2.1 EEUs tool without problem but I can't with nflash...I succesfuly used nflash before to patch the bootloader and flash cwm when I tried the leak back then but it doesn't work anymore.
Something other than flexrom must be wrong...cmw always give me an error when formating flexrom though. At least the ICS rom that shall not be named work fine at least. As I said in my other thread, all leak based rom fail to boot...even the new cm9, probably because it use stock ics kernel. I hope the official ota update will fix it, but I doubt it because even the update.zip with stock recovery failed to boot. Thanks again for your assistance Moscow!

Well, when I fubarred my blocks, it took me a couple times till I figured out to nvflash from a normal windows cmd window, and not through adb!
Also, although my cuid numbers are different, they output the same sequence through vach's site.
Have you toggled data/media in cwm to completely format the tab?
Still I would try the nvflash for the patched boot loader. That should wipe that puppy clean.

Ok I finally got it to enter download mode (I had some missing files) and start the flashing procedure but again with errors. I removed the CLS from the run.bat, so here is the ouput:

I don't know. But clearly something is amiss. When you converted your UID on Vache's site, the new ICS UID converted number, should have been the same as your original UID number. Can you verify? (the 2 UID numbers have the same output)
Example;
0x038061c7409fa617 (HC)
0x79531F00 0xBB680C01 0xFB22E803 0x8ADE2003
38061c7409fa617 (ICS)
0x79531F00 0xBB680C01 0xFB22E803 0x8ADE2003
For some reason, mine stayed the same.
Best bet, run this by Drellisdee on his RA Recovery thread. He;s the master of this, and maybe he has some insight.

Hey guys for the past 5 months I`ve been trying to unstuck my A500 from teh APX mode, and still no luck.
I have my CPUID/SDK, I`ve used every methodthat I know to unstuck it but I never managed it.
Can anyone share me a light? And in the case of sending it for Acer, can anyone say if is an firmware or hardware problem?
*Notes:
It all happened after I tried to intall a custom ics rom (based on stock ics rom) because that acer was delaying the launch on my country.
On the nvflash program , I get the following error
Flashing bootloader: bootloader_v8.bin ...

thx in advance

Do a search for "babsector", you will find exact references to the same error messages you are getting. It seems your partition table got corrupted, and now you can't write to it because it is corrupted, so babsector (misspelled badsector?) rewrites the partition table in a different location, and a different size, then re-creates it back in the correct location, thus fixing your problem. (Or something along those lines, but it will def fix your problem)
Don't forget to click "Thanks" if this fixes you up. (Tip, maybe, a lot of noobs at flashing, forget to root their tablet before flashing, thinking the flash will give them root. This is the cause for many of these first time flashers ending up in APX.)
badsector or babsector, can be found at:

Sorry, I am by no means an expert, but babsector has always fixed the problem for me when the error was " Command Execution failed cmd 13, error 0x12 0002"
I have not seen anyone that had the error "failed executing command 16 NvError 0x120002" come away without having to change out the Motherboard. Can't hurt to try again, sometimes it takes a couple tries to make it go. If it doesn't go, maybe you might need a new motherboard.

Then its a dead tablet because the technical assistance on my country doesn`t have motherboards, bad luck then
Please help!
I tried to update the bootloader to v9 but after installing the zip file thru cwm, rebooted it said flashing failed and black screen.
I can only get to APX mode.
When I use the blackthund3r_A500_APX_Flash_Tool to flash, it did not detect the APX mode but I can see the APX device from windows. The process hang in EBT stage 2 - uploading image.
So I tried to nvflash. I can enter the nvflash mode ok:

please how to solve this problem
HI, I have been working on the PB Liberty Tab G100 for over a week.. I just want it back to stock.. no custom boot loaders or roms etc.. just so they can use it..
the story so far... I was asked to repair a PB liberty tab that was supposedly just freezing.. I think it had a custom boot V8..
Recovery was not working just getting the android dube with red triangle.. so installed thor recovery via fastboot..
tried the update method.. did not work.. tried everything.. but was having an issue with the wiping and formating...
I managed to finally get the cpuid by using a 64 bit version of ubuntu and have managed to get the SBK.. tried the recommended flashs A500 apx etc
but now i'm stuck in apx mode.. when i try to use V8-UNL-ICS-HC-bootloader-MULTI-cwm method I get the failed to format..

I think I have an internal storage issue, or bad sectors.. or I am just not using the right apx.. and help would be awesome..
i have read so many forum sections and pieced together which has finally got me into the device.. but now I seem to have hit a brick wall..
so help i have tried to track down the bad sectors software to run in apx mode but cant seem to find it al all the link i have found are dead..
