I tried putting it in system/apps and set permissions but it doesn't show up after a reboot. Anyone able to get this to work?

do they have a version of "halo"? disable it if they do, then try again. it might be something with miui, are other miui users having the same issue?
I try the link in the first post and I can confirm it works. Using miui v5 .31

I figured it was the one version if Miui that was causing it. Something to do with the gapps that was posted with it caused a few apps to not show up

A quick question about JB 4.2 keyboards. I've installed several ROMs and some have little grey letters/numbers at the top of each key for hold to type as in the screen shot attached. But other ROMs don't have these extra hold to use keys.
I can't find a keyboard setting anywhere for it, so is it a different keyboards apk or some setting I've missed that activates it?
Many thanks.

Easiest thing to do is download SmoothROM and go to system/app/LatinIME.apk and extract that and open on your N7. Should be fine then. Or reflash your ROM to put it back.

I'm curious to actually know the answer to this. I have the 4.2 kb on my gs3 that I flashed in and it shows the long press symbols. On this device running stock 4.2.1 straight from Google, it does not have them. I really would like to know the reason why...

Pretty sure its a CM mod keyboard and not a stock AOSP one. So if you extract the kb apk from a CM ROM and flash it on your current ROM you should be good to go...

That's the older jellybean version. I'm sure there are custom roms with those still there.

Nothing in that image is a stock ROM... Look for a custom ROM that has that.

Install a custom rom that has multiple nav ring targets coded into it. That is all.

It was on the nexus 4 port to the inspire but never saw it on my nexus 7. I updated mine right away though so I assumed it was on older version but I guess I'm wrong.

my Nexus 4 is fully compatible with the update
Stock no modifications, root, no recovery
while i was updating through wifi, my brother accidentally switched off the wireless router and disturbed the download
then i got back to my wifi, and unable to update even i keep pressing the Retry Download as in the picture
is there any way to reset or clear download cache something like that?

Anybody else getting constant reboots with this version?
Tried upgrading to N from stock and it's dropped me into a bootloop. Now looking for the OTA file to see if an adb sideload will fix the problem

May be placebo, but my wifi suffered on preview 2, now it's back to normal like it was on MM and N preview 1.

I was f***ed yesterday, and an ADB sideload is the only thing that allowed to get Android back at all.

You need the vendor.img as well .. to be safe
Try this package .. Update.ZIP_PixelC_Ryu_NPD35K-system-vendor.zip -> to be installed via TWRP.
Have a look here .. http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-c/development/twrp-flashable-monthly-update-zip-pixel-t3375591
Cheers
Seems to be working fine for me at the moment, haven't really noticed anything different from dev preview 2 though.

Much more stable.... That was the main change.
I'm not sure what I did wrong. I flashed the framework and installed the APK but I get an error when enabling a module states I don't have framework installed. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you're using an older xposed apk file, the one you downloaded is under a different file name then the 1 I have.
Try this 1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440
I had issues with v85. Try v84 and see if that helps.
It was an old apk, thanks
