i killed the live wallpaper files a long time ago.
now i like to test the weather pro live wp.
can someone tell me, which files i need?

Why spam in theme and app section?
Hi everyone. My respect to all xda developers. As I can't post this thread in developers section I have to post it here. I am new in android but not in computing. Simple I export an apk with tasker wich changes the permissions of /dev/exynos-mem file to 666 on camera apps start and back to 600 on camera apps stop. Both .apk and .xml included in .zip file. I also want to ask developers , expecially Chainfire can it be usefull is some ways? Please report. Thanks.

You should just be able to click on the apk after u download it for installation as long as u have "install from unknown sources" checked in settings

it's checked. When i install the apk file from apkmania screen blacks out and a title "apkmania" cricles. I want to download sd data and copy it to phone memory.
Sorry for language mistakes.
Try and find a new source for the APk it might be corrupted.

Maybe a stupid question, but I can't find the answer.
I created an application, I have some images res/drawable-...
I can create an apk, ready for release and I can install it on my phone.
When I open the apk (with winzip for example), I can see the folder "res" and all the images. I can extract these images on my computer and see them.
Are images not "compiled" or "compressed" ?
When I look here: http://developer.android.com/tools/building/index.html, I think with "aapt", the resources are compiled.
But not in my case. What am I missing ?

That's normal.
An apk file is an archieve like zip files. So everything is just compressed.
As far as I know, aapt just compiles resources written in xml (like layouts or menus) and creates all necessary IDs.
