why are there 2 different dev threads?
Please search before posting in the future. This thread has the answer..
thanks but sometimes if you don't have the exact perfect search criteria it doesn't work. that is why I put a Q in the Q&A forum.
That's true, but using exactly the same wording as your OP I found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34995295

Brilliant, thanks.
Why have you created 2 exactly same threads?
And to be honest I don`t see what`s the point of this thread.
Here is your other thread in Galaxy S II Q&A category

This is a perfect example of not searching before asking questions...it is being talked about in all s4 forums.

Being NEW is no excuse not to do research. Doing a search is easy. Especially when this topic is EVERYWHERE!

Maybe you should have done your research before posting rude responses which don't contain the answer to a "stupid" or
simple" question. I'm referring to the sticky: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2320430

@TheAxman is right. When there is threads on page 1 about exactly what you are asking there is no reason to start a new thread. It has always happened and will always happen though. By calling out people you teach them. If everyone holds newbs hands they never care to learn and will continue bad behavior.
The following was my opinion. I am solely responsible for it.

What anwser are you looking for then? We already gave you the answer. Page 1 in this forum has 2-3 threads explaining exactly what you asked. 2 of the threads will walk you thru it. Ya know baby steps.

I have the Paranoid Android ROM on my previous model Nexus 7. I'd like to know if there is Paranoid Android for the 2013 model too.
Not trying to be rude but one of the rules of xda is to search before posting a question and especially before making a whole new thread.
The answer is yes btw but you need to learn how to use the search or even easier just go to n7 original development and look yourself. It's very easy
>^.^< Sent from meow HTC One which is like catnip to me atm
I like that Downtown started off by letting you know he wasn't trying to be a jerk. Sometimes people can be so mean to the newbies. But, yes, xbt, try the Original Development Section and you will find it.

One of the other unwritten rules is you have to waste post space whining about people. It's perfectly clear that posts complaining about people not searching take up just as much if not more space on XDA than posts asking redundant questions. If you doubt me, do a search.

What are you talking about. I let the guy know about searching and then directed him to the right place. Searching before posting is actually a written rule
Btw you just broke that unwritten rule you speak of to then by posting your post haha no whining here on my part bro but your post well that sounded a little whiney to me.

If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black, then I don't know what is!!!! Not to mention your post is longer, and takes up more space than the post you're complaining about!! There should be a list of XDA'S most contradicting posts, and your post should be number 1!!! Hahaha
Yes, I'm breaking this "unwritten rule" you speak of, but it's for a good cause, so that gives me a pass to do so, doesn't it? Sorry, haven't read the unwritten rules, so I'm not sure, and that's why I'm having to ask. Wait, they aren't even available to read, since they're unwritten. Well, guess I should have said "I haven't teleported them to my mind, so I'm not sure, and that's why I'm having to ask"

OP please take a search thru the Development Forums for your device....I am sure you will find what you are looking for, thanks.
And BTW it is "Written" here within the Forum Rules #1 & while we are at it....maybe a review for some others...

You sir are doing it wrong all questions belong in Q&A not development threads.
And posting pointless posts will get you no where.
