I just updated to 4.3 and now when im trying to download anything through playstore it shows me this error..
I ve cleared playstore data...google service framework cache and data, but still no luck..please help me here...
If it counts i update to 4.3 by clearing google service framework then checking for the update...
Thanks

Try removing your Google account and then add it again. I know that fixes some play store errors but I'm not sure it will for your certain error.
Not completely sure if I've read that others were able to fix this problem by wiping the cache for their playstore app. Give that a go and see what happens.

If you cleared framework data to try and force an ota update it breaks play. Try deleting your google account, restarting, sign into google account, open play.
Sorry for late reply. Thanks for your answer. This solved my issue. And yes, i was trying to force an ota update.

Hey guys, I just updated to 4.3 last night but I've been unable to download app updates from the playstore since. Including Google maps update. I keep getting the error code "error retrieving information from sever (RPC:s-5: aec-0). How do I fix this?

Try removing your google account from the phone then re-add it.There is a few reports of this same issue where removing and readding google account has resolved the issue,

I really need help with this "Package file is Invalid" error that I get on the play store when trying to update or DL apps. I just tried to update instagram and it told me Invalid Package. Then I tried to DL Pandora and it worked perfectly fine. Can some body please help me out? I already deleted the Google account and cleared cache and data from play store. And still the same result.

If you have lucky patcher open it. Wait 30 seconds. Menu long press to play store. Try again to update. This usually works for me.

Oh okay, patcher is for root, it changes your odexes and removes Google ads so they don't pop up in apps. Try a search online for instagram apks? Other than that I don't really know sorry.

I got the package invalid error a couple of times. But a day later when I went to update everything worked fine. One was a Samsung app, and the other was Handcent.
I thought it was because I was running a custom rom, but since it cleared up on it's own I didn't give it any more thought.

When I try to update Google search it tells me " error package file is invalid".
I tried to delete my Google account and reading it but it's still like that.
How could I if that?
I'm rooted with stock ROM.

Any chance any of these apps you are updating a backup restored from a previous version? Perhaps patched with something like Lkucy Patcher? Does it happen for all apps? Can you install any other apps from the Play Store without a problem?

I think I got it. Other apps install fine which was weird so I just removed app data for those apps then the app itself and it installed OK from the play store
