If you mean that you need Official Stock 4.3 for Nexus 4. That is not released yet. There is a system dump extracted gmillz in Android Development forum you can flash that, else you have to wait. Please post the question in general category.

Wrong! You can download the official 4.3 rom from googles devs servers..
To just awnser ts.. You can just use the normal toolkit from mark (mskip) .. You will get a warning that the img is not in toolkits database..
My gnex is running it sinds yesterday..

I've heard of these things called adb and fastboot, they are really not that hard to use or learn. If your a Linux user its as easy as just downloading the SDK.

Hi guys.
I was wondering, I unlocked my nexus' bootloader, and rooted my phone, on version 4.2 JWR66Y. I previously owned a Xperia Arc, and when new upgrades hit, I had to completely wipe and flash the new rom. How is the process in the nexus 4 when kitkat hits it? Will I see an OTA which I need to accept? Will I see an OTA which I of course have to decline? I won't be seeing any OTA, have to manually flash the rom?
Thanks in advance

You will see the OTA. You will be able to download it, but if you have a custom recovery, you'll have to manually flash it.
Howdy, was looking to update my nexus from 4.2.2 to 4.4.1. I remember when I went from 4.1 to 4.2 I had to use my PC to update the boot loader first. Is this also true for this update or can I just flash my new ROM and gapps after a good wipe?

Bump! Anyone?
The proper way without any problem is flash factory image via wugfresh tool kit and it should update your device kernel bootloader android os every thing and it is very easy too.
Please ignore my spelling mistakes. English is not my native language.

horse for courses really yes
i agree ,if you have no problems with your version your running now then dont update,i had no problems, but im in that group of people that need to update to the latest softwares
4.3 was good enough for me really, but i can not help myself
stay on 4.3 untill you read more about kitkat
That is good but what about battery drain
And sensor and motion works
The big problem if I update there is no way to back to 4.3

Thats why i actually updated to cm11. Which is still kitkat but also works on the old bootloader. Means you can always go back to stock 4.3. You will lose all available spen features tho and all Samsung stuff . If you're not scared of knoxing your device that is.

I recently flashed back to stock 4.2, and now I can not update to 4.3 or 4.4. I tried using OTA and flashing through CWM, but no updates will flash. Anyone run into this issue?
