I just updated to 4.3 after a full wipe and I now am trying to set all my apps and widgets back to the way it was before.
But I seem to have found a slight problem with the digital clock widget. The widget used to be able to be resized to 4x2 but the new widget at 4.3 doesn't seem to be able to resize to that size, the smallest is 5x2, which apparently is now the default.
It's rather annoying since having at 4x2, means I can have the widget at the centre and apps either side of the widget.
Anyone else have this problem?

Hi guys
Anyone else noticed this on their S2...?
When i set the digital clock with the date as a main widget on home screen, sometimes, if i reboot or load a video, play it and come back to the home screen, the widget shrinks in size slighty and removes the date.
This is the same when i use a beautiful widget clock/weather widget as well...
Not sure what i am doing wrong...
Any help guys?
Cheers
Merb
Yeah i have noticed this too. Don't know what causes this. What firmware are you on?
Does it happen with the stock time widget as well?
I have the Go Launcher Weather widget and it does this shrinking job sometimes after I exit apps. I thought it was a problem with the widget!
I'm on stock O2 ROM version: KE2
Mine says no files found when I browse and try to change it..
they're included as part of the launcher apk...
Is there any way to use a custom (downloaded) image for lockscreen bacground? I am able to do so forwallpaper but only have the few stock choices for lock screen...

Click to collapse
they kind of screwed up when making this change. if you change the lockscreen wallpaper by using the plus icon in the top right, you'll only be able to use the stock wallpapers. however, if you go into settings->screen->wallpaper(or something like that, I don't have my tab on me), you'll only be able to pick from images in your gallery. you should be able to do either in both places but.. oh well
I was frustrated by the lack of lockscreen wallpapers until I discovered that if you go to the Gallery app, and select a photo, you can set it as your lock screen background using the Gallery settings menu.
I recently noticed that the widget I was using on my homescreen wasn't responding Digital Clock Widget and would no longer take me directly to the alarm when pressed. I checked and it was still set up for that in the settings so I tried to remove the widget and put a new one up but to no avail. I tried restoring it with Titanium but no joy as well as uninstalling and starting from scratch. But when I installed it again, this time I couldn't see the app's widgets in the app drawer.
I've tried another clock app and can't see the widget for that either. I had a go at long pressing a blank area on the homescreen but the only option it gave was to change the wallpaper. I had a play with that and changed the wallpaper I'd set up from one of my photo's but when I went to put that back on, that doesn't work either. I'm stumped!
ROM - NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.7 [Nand]
Kernel - tytung_HWA_r3.4
Launcher - stock Trebuchet
Thanks for any pointers guys - sorry if this has a rather obvious answer but I've tried everything I could and am very new and rather tentative when it comes to the whole modding thing!
I'm using the Google Now launcher on my N4, but somehow the google news & weather widget is the wrong size here (3x1 instead of 4x1), with no resize option. Strangely enough, the size is correct on the stock N4 launcher (4x1, which does take the whole screen width).
Is there a way to make it the correct size (4x1) on Google Now launcher?
does nobody know how to make the widget appear in the correct size with Google Now launcher?
Nobody?
So I never seen this before and was quite glad to stumble upon it. With the stock weather widget, if you use multiple locations, on the widget itself, just swipe up or down on the weather icon and it will rotate between the different locations and use their current time setting.
