As the subject says. Can anyone hear a noise or slight vibration sometimes when the camera is focusing on the i9500? You can hear it especially when focusing from far to close up.

Hi! During calling, I experienced an annoying background noise. Like the wind blows our some kind of radio signal our I don't know. As soon as the calling is underway, not just after the call is received. The rom us the official KI4. It is some kind of noise reduction problem?

I think sometimes the Nexus 4 microphone is way to sensitive and gives incredible overdrive/distortion. Specifically at loud music concerts. All my videos are USELESS!!! My friend with his iPhone 4 right next to me records the same thing and his videos are AUDIO perfect. Mine are total crap. Any app that can control the microphone gain/level and quality???? Similarly to the Voodoo Sounds?
Any mod?
thanks guys
I have a similar problem I use the auxiliary cable in my car and I answer calls with it but people say they can't hear me, there has to be a way to mod the microphone

Any kernel with FauxSound will let you control the camcorder mic's gain. Turning it down should reduce distortion. Or if you are rooted you can install Ezekeel's Experience app which lets you control it on any kernel.
I just noticed that there's a very heavy distortion every time I record audio, not only that, is entirely predictable, always at around second 3 and it lasts about 3 seconds too. After that there's no more distortions.
Here's the audio recording (silence until the third second then I make a few noises since the distortion becomes more obvious): http://db.tt/o0uMqFiq
It's beyond annoying, and I'm pretty sure it also happens during calls.
I'm using Android 4.3, Slim ROM version that is otherwise flawless, I'm not sure if its a hardware or software issue, although such predictability makes me think is a matter of software. Does anyone has a similar issue?

Thanks. My friend with a G2 also hears it. I think it might actually be the camera stabilization, the sensor is suppose to kinda move around in there.
And I guess my vibro is fine, just my haptic feedback strength feels like a lot less tonight. Or maybe I'm crazy.
Yup, I believe that's just the optical image stabilizer moving about.
I'd like too ask if it's possible to disable the focus motor on this phone as its buzzing uncontrollably to the point where all photos are blurred
