Hello, new guy here in need of some help. I've searched and tried every solution I can find, with no luck. My AT&T Surround is stuck in the HTC splash screen loop, and nothing I have found seems to work. I was using it the other day, and it shut off, and this is all I get from it now. I have tried a hard reset, removing the SD and SIM cards, different SD cards, all with no luck. I can get it into the bootloader screen, and It recognizes all of the SD cards that I have tried, but no other devices recognize them now. My bootloader screen reads as follows :
PD26100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-4.5.2250.0(129685) MNG
MicroP(LED) 0x09
TOUCH C1(v62)
SD SANDISK 3781MB
Partition Info-v211v413
USB
When I try flashing it with a new ROM using the ROMUPDATERUTILITY, The utility doesnt report what version the phone has on it, but recognizes the phone, and the new rom, and attempts to flash. It will sit on 0% and the phone screen will go to the progress bar and read 0% for about 10 minutes and time out with an error 262.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help guys!

Hi all ^^
I'm new here, and I just received my HD2 and wanted to flash it with one of the cool ROMs you have on this forum.
I flashed the HSPL with HSPL2 and everything went smoothly. Then I downloaded one of CleanEX DSE Core Rom (the 6.5 Maniless FRE) to be precise.
I flashed it, all was good, at the end the phone rebooted and i was stuck at the boot screen written "HTC CleanEX UDT DsE Series". I thought maybe it was because I didn't do a hard reset yet. So i did one, everything initialyze and when it's done same thing, the phone reboot and I'm stuck at the same boot screen...
I'm starting to get a bit stressed out because if I can't connect to Activesync I can't even put an original Rom or an other twinked one ><
Does anybody know what I did wrong or why it's not working ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
PS: My phone is a french phone.
radio - go back and reread that roms thread for recommendation, however 2.07.50.x or higher should do it.
boot to bootloader, connect usb, flash radio, phone will now boot
Connect your phone to PC and turn it on while holding volume down, bootloader menu should apear (red, green, blue, white) then you can run Rom flashing tool on your PC
but i recomend flashing newer RADIO because this may be the reason for your current issue.
That was a really quick and effective answer !!
Thanks a lot to both of you !!!! *hugs*
its seriously the radio

I tried to install HSPL but unfotunately it stops & my phone is not working. My HD2 hangs when HTC logo comes. I also try to copy stock ROM in SD card whilst pressing voldown & power keys, tricolour screen appeared & says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x40
Then the phone hangs.
Could anyone tell me what is ROM flashing tool & what version should I install.
Please help me.

are you flashing the ROM on a different micro sd card? you cant use a 8GB or 16GB. Try a smaller card like a 1GB or 2GB.
also rename the stock ROM to LEOIMG.nbh.
put that ROM file on a smaller card and go into bootloader should come right up. worked for me when i had to re-install stock to return defective unit.
Well I previously purchased a Hd2 Leo (us) from a friend because it kept freezing at the Stick Together screen . It boots through completely when ever it wants or it will loop back to the Stick together screen. So after researching I find that it has never been updated. I'm hoping after doing this update This will fix my problem . The problem I face now is that you have to sync the phone with the computer with out your SD card to up date. I dont have the piece to sync it to the computer. I was wondering if there is an way to update with out syncing with the PC? Thanks for your time and consideration to all that reads and trts to help .
You can extract the update from the updater, and place it on your SD card and do it from there. But, MicroUSB cables are literally 2 bucks on eBay, and if you have the stock charger you already have a cable, simply unplug the cable from the charger and plug it into your computer.
dont have the stock chager
so check this out, i took out the sim card and the sd card and it works and boots all the way through. but with the sim and the sd card in it it freezes

What if you just remove the SD card and leave the sim in?
It does the same thing with the sd out of it . Im getting this when i get stuck on the stil together screen
R:2.10.50
g15.39.50.o7u
d2.13.90963 8g
have the same with my HD2 with the same hardware details as well..
2.13.90963 8G
2.10.50.26
15.39.50.07U
it would boot without the SIM card sometimes and with it as well sometimes...if i upgrade to 3.14 would that resolve the issue?
i had previously upgraded using SD card mechanism..so i would have to remove 2.13 LEOIMG.nbh and put in the one for 3.14 right?
So i boored into bootloader anit reads as stated
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.10.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(Touch) 0x50
Is this stock? I need to know im gonna try try and convince T-mobile to send me a replacement seeing how it is still under warrenty but since its not on anymore and it was never mine and i bought it from someone will they still exchange it ?
yes spl ending 0000is stock.
cool ill see if i can con them out of a phone tomorrow ,
I've been hacking/modding/flashing for years with numerous devices and have never been this far down this path...I searched around and haven't found an answer or the same situation so I'm sorry if I overlooked a similar thread.
I've been running WP7 on my HD2 for a few months after running Android from the SD and NAND for a few months before that. Yesterday my touchscreen started getting VERY difficult to use, with it being both innacurate and unresponsive. It got progressively worse so this morning I reflashed the WP7 ROM without any problems. Even after that it continued getting worse to the point where the phone was unusable because the touchscreen would not respond to anything so I couldn't unlock the phone. The hardware keys worked fine. So I decided I would try to go back to WM6.5 in an attempt to isolate whether it was software or hardware. I'm on my work computer so it doesn't have the proper drivers for flashing, so I formated my SD card, put a TMO-US WM6.5 build on the root of the card, renamed it LEOIMG.nbh and put it back in.
I booted to the tri-color screen, pressed power to confirm the flash. It flashed the progress bar and then went to the loading screen. It stayed there for around 30 minutes so I pulled the battery out and attempted to try again, but then a screen comes up for a half second that says "Software update Failed! Please Try Again" and then it goes back to the loading screen. If I try to go back to the Tri-color screen it shows it for a second and says "ROM code error Please try again" then returns to the loading screen. Anybody have any advice? Anybody seen this before?
Got a full filename for the rom you flashed?
In bootloader what's the full spl line say?
What size SD card? The stock tmous one?
wow.. unless some how the flash to wm conflicted with magldr that should had worked...
When you start the phone holding down the volume key... Do you have the SDcard still in it and it just kicks you out of the bootloader? Technically ad long as the boot loader shows up it should be fixable but it kicks you out.. that a problem

This is the ROM I was flashing on the SD:
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship.zip
I got it from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655653
The bootloader says 2.08.0000 then MicroP something. It just flashes so it is hard to read too fast.
I am using an 8GB Class 4 card. I also tried it with the stock 16GB one but it did the same thing. When I tried flashing it, however, it was the 8GB card.

That's what I'm gathering as well. In my experience I've never been afraid of bricking because I've always been able to get to the bootloader. In this case, I can get to it, but it won't let me stay in it.
I finally got the phone to stay in bootloader mode, however when I try to flash any ROM, whether Task29, radio, stock, or cooked 6.5 it goes through the ROM Update Utility steps and then it stops at 0% for a few minutes before giving me an update communication error. This is what the Bootloader says:
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x50
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Thanks again for the help.
YOU donT have HSPL... Thats why flashing a cooked rom isnt working aswell ad everything else... flash a stock rom to get it up and running
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yep, there's the problem. Any spl ending. 0000 is stock, you have 2.08.0000, you actually need 2.08.hspl.
Don't feel too silly though, its the most basic error there is, but still turns up daily.
When you flash a stock Rom from the SDCard it removes the HSPL... So you can try flashing a Stock ROM to see if the screen issues continue or put HSPL back on and flash something to it
also, what size is your SD card? Quite often, SD Cards over 2GB in size fail for rom updates via the SD Card method.
You could also go here: http://psas.revskills.de/?q=node/ and download the free version.
Run The program and select:
Menu-Hardware forensics-WINCE SD Utils and get your card serial number. (needs a windows mobile phone connected via activesync to the pc (with the card in it) to work though)'
Once you get the code, PM it to me and I will make a goldcard.img for you.
That way you can flash any rom without having hspl on the phone.
Again, this will only work with a card under 4gb. 1 or 2gb is recommended.

Hello and good morning
I have a issue with my HD2
i get to the boot screen right now it says this
PB81100 HX-B3
SPL-3.03 HPSL XE
0x05
Cotulla HPSL 0x50
i have even try to go back to SPL 2.08 also.
i do a boot screen to try to restore stock rom but it won't work.
i have installed MAGLDR111 on it and 113
When it turns on it goes in a Dexter loading please wait and sits there forever. i even left it there for half an hour once and nothing
When i go to SPL2.08 to boot stock rom it goes into effect it starts the process but it gets stuck at 3%
7% and the maximum i can get is 8%
Try it on two computers and is the same.
Even some custom roms.
LDR
If i hold the power button for the MAGLDR it goes into a black screen with the letter on top but no menu to scroll down to anything.
Can someone tell me if this a hardware issue and i should give up?
i got this phone like this from Ebay with booting up to the boot screen only.
i thought i was going to be able to flash it myself cause i done it before on other hd2
but this one is really giving me a hard time
I just try it again and I get 302 error
I hope someone can help me out. ifnot i will have to give up on it.
Hm you need to try to flash an original Windows 6.5 rom to restore your SPL and RADIO. Also check what kind of SD card do you have. Sometimes it fails with some.
i don't have a SD card in it im trying to flash it from boot mode usb
And i have try installing the original rom from tmobile.
but it keeps getting only to 8% and it gets stuck.
im at the point that now i think there is something wrong with the hardware.

And change hspl from bootloader can?
Try to touch versions hspl and to stitch original ROM.
p.s. It would be certainly easier, if was available sd, but alas... Absence sd complicates a problem.
Hey I just got my lcd/digitizer replaced on my T mobile HD2 and all looks well until I tried booting Sd Roms (Haret), None of my roms (ICS,Gingerbread, multiple builds) boot any longer. I have tried different builds, clean installs and different Sd cards. It's the same thing every time it will boot at first past all the splash screens then it will freeze 30 seconds give or take after its running. After pulling the battery and attempting to reboot it will attemp to jump to kernel then blackscreen and freeze. When the tech replaced my lcd/digitize he told me that he had to reflash WM6.5 because the new hardware wasnt responding to "touch", also the new glass doesnt have the t mobile logo on it (mix and match part problem?). So anyhow if anyone has ANY input on this regarding how to get it fixed I would appreciate
T-Mobile HD2
Windows 6.5
OS Version 5.2.21892
ROM Version 2.13.531.1
Radio Version 2.10.50.26
Turn off your phone. And turn it on while holding the volume down key. Dont let go of it until you see the tri-colour screen. Type all information given on the screen on this thread.

Sorry it took so long to reply I was having issues posting
Okay just ran an old state of American Android where I had the cpu to set to normal (no overclock) on the same sd card and it booted up fine, however when i attempted to overclock it froze my phone had to do a battery pull retried several time with the same outcome, now I believe my other roms wouldnt load because I had CPU settings to load on boot (overclock) thats why it would boot then freeze around 10 seconds after loading the GUI (guessing). But why would my phone no longer overclock? Also camera doesnt work on Rom any longer ran fix permissions but to no avail.
Maybe a bad flash of windows 6.5? idk
Heres boot screen
