Hi,I have same problem after updated to modaco 3.1,I can unmount the sdcard, but after I click format nothing happenes, and I cannot install ra-recovery,maybe because a first problem...
Anybody know how to solve it?
Same problem here... i tried everything. im pretty sure this card is dead. It was a samsung and happened after i used iSyncr and removed it not "safely" -
Try to format the card with windows, trough your phone or, if i't not working, with another reader, like a camera or a sdcard reader.
Use this software to format it:
http://download.cnet.com/Partition-Wizard-Home-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.html
Do a FULL format not a quick one. After you finish, format the sd card again with android and create your ext.2 partition if necessary.

[Q] SD Card Partition

Ok a simple q/.
Gonna put a new rom 2morrow ,and i always format my SD card which has 4gb,with the standard fat32+ext2+apps2sd ,with 32mb for swap and 512mb for ext2 ... is that the best way? or am i doing it wrong? suggestions?
note ... i only format and partition my sd card via custom Recovery(on my magic),i hate that ADB crap!

[Q] Kitkat rom that still has external sd card support

Need help.. I flashed different kitkat roms but most of them does not have external sd card or the "move to sd card" option. Are there any custom kitkat roms that still support external sd?

[Q] cannot mount sd card on cm12

I am running cm12 nightlys and have just bought a new sd card,Samsung 32gb EVO, from ebuyer and it will not mount. Is it the rom? or do I have a problem with the phone hardware ie the sd card slot?
Hey if your sd card's file system is exFAT, try to format it to FAT32 and try again.
Hope it works

Removable MicroSD card detected but not mounted

I have recently switched from the stock ROM (4.4.2) for my Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo+ to Cyanogen 11 (4.4.4 - I wiped data, system and cache partitions before doing this). I have a 64GB external sd card formatted to FAT32 which was working fine when using my stock ROM but Cyanogenmod will not mount it anywhere. It detects the presence of the removable sd card as I am offered to erase it in the storage section in the settings. However, there are no files under /external_sd or /storage/sdcard1.
Is there any way I can fix this and mount my external sd card?
I solved this by converting my external SD card from FAT32 to NTFS using MiniTool Partition Wizard.
