I like recording YouTube videos and on my iPhone 4 it was a breeze but on the nexus 4 it is really annoying. I'm not complaining about the lens or anything like that, just the lack of touch to focus when recording videos!
Is there any apps you use to record videos with touch to focus? I've used lgcamera before but it sometimes stutters when starting a video and it cuts as soon as there is ~500mb of space left.

EDIT: I'm sorry i over read someone. I understood it wrong. But you can always use apps which have these features. Snap camera HDR has these features.
Touch to focus on 4.3? You sure? Source?

Anyone notice the crappy video recording on the evo with froyo? Must be the playback or encoding cause I took some recording today out side and play them back and it suck. Was little choppy on the play back and seem little to wavey. Not 720p quality for sure, is there a fix or a rom that has this fix.
It's fine when played back on the pc. I noticed the same thing on the phone

I'm using the latest nightly of CM6, and I find my Video recording improved. It doesn't seem really laggy like it did before, and the playback seemed better.

Hey guys I'm not sure if you've noticed but with the latest YouTube app update with the new ui, it seems the video quality is streaming in HD but at 720p. I can definitely tell just by watching a video, it's quite jaggy then reversing to the older app it's back to how it should be.
Does anyone else have this problem? I really like the new ui and it's features especially how you are scrolling around, click a video and when you finish and go back it's exactly where you were scrolling to. Unlike the old version where when you finish and go back it's suddenly way up on the list and you've lost where you're up to!

Well, you're not the only one. I love the new YouTube app in that you're able to search for new videos while the current video is playing, but the video (even fullscreen) looks like ****e!!..particularly on the Nexus 10 with such an awesome display resolution.
I don't know what the deal is, but you're not alone.

Considering we have 4K video on YouTube, this is a disgrace. We should be able to stream EVERY quality, not only standard, 720P or 1080P.

i see i dont have problem with the screen its ok.but the youtube not looks really hd (even if i thick the good quallity in the settings)
and all the pics if i make little bit zoom it looks pixel?strange
yeah i am on the same boat any news to this ?
Some one????
Even when i watch youtube in 4k that shot with this camera its very pixelly
Youtube or Google +?
My videos on G+ are all pixelated, but if i see them directly from the file they are all ok.
Not following what the issue is here. No issues with YouTube playback or playback of 4k video I've shot

I Have this issue where all video I record has audio issues. In app and stock camera app!!! I start recording and the audio in the video is behind the actual video playing. Any one else having this issue??
Snapchat
Stock camera app (all resolutions)
Facebook
Etc...
Yup
So glad I'm not the only one. I love the camera and video quality, but that lag is terrible!!!! Hope there's an update soon!

Same problem with Snapchat... irritating.
Hey guys...I just got this phone today because of the 240fps video capture, however when I gogo to play videos I can't do a frame by frame playback. I've taken slo-mo videos with an iPhone and the playback is awesome where I can scroll with my finger the exact speed forwards or backwards frame by frame.
Is there any kind of slo-mo player similar to the iPhone's for the nexus 6p? Even the one the Samsung note 5 was pretty good...but this photos player or anything that I've used in the play store sucks. the best would be if someone could get the iPhone's picture preview app to this phone.
Been looking everywhere online and there just isn't anything it there lol...why doesn't anyone make something like this? Is it that hard?
Seriously though even the one on the Samsung would be ok but this playback on Google photos suck
Ok so if anyones interested in using the slow mo for sports I finally found the best app for it to playback slowly frame by frame. The app is called coach's eye...ive now used it a few times and I have no idea why its only rated as 3.9 stars...to me its so nice and would rate it 5 stars.
The app is free if you just want to record and playback, but if you wanna start drawing lines and other options I think you have to pay like $15 or something. Either way the app is awesome and anyone that wants to use it for sports needs this app especially for golf =).
