I'm desperately looking for 4.1.2 for a p5113. I have been out of the rooting game for a minute and haven't ever done a tab so these variants are new to me. Can someone point me in the right direction for an official version? I'm looking to install it and then root.
According to samfirmware.com, it's not available yet for your device.

I would recommend to you trying this custom ROM, Zap Blaster, its 4.1.2 stock based ROM with some tweaks for speed etc, 100% stable and has all stock functions. You can flash any p5110 or p5113 on your tab. Just don't try a p5100 build. Here's the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37596575

For those of you who don't yet know, there are 2 new STOCK firmwares that are fresh and way newer than the old N7100ZSALJA (the one that Wanam used for his 4.1.1 ROM version 1.5) build date 24.10.2012; change list: 343940.
Other DEVS used this stock base as well for their last 4.1.1 Custom Roms, after that as we know a 4.1.2 ROM has been leaked N7100XXDLJ2 , build 29.10.2012, change list 422394.
Now that every DEVS has been developing their custom ROMs based on this leak, they might probably forgot about the 4.1.1 stock ROMs were still going out.
Recently, the 2 way more fresh than the N7100ZSALJA (4.1.1) as well as the N7100XXDLJ2 (4.1.2):
1) N7100ZCALK3 - Build 19/11/2012 - Change list 447762 (yes, that is even greater than the Change list of the old leaked 4.1.2)
Download link: http://hotfile.com/dl/181532671/9df...7100_CHN_1_20121121101609_b87nakznm9.zip.html
2) N7100ZCALK5 - Build 30/11/2012 - Change list yet to be updated but I'm sure it's even greater than the 4.1.1 CALK3.
Download link: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/182265692/61368c2/N7100ZCALK5_N7100CHNALK5_CHN.zip.html
As to me, imho, the last 4.1.1 rom that DEVS used for their 4.1.1 custom ROM (the N7100ZSALJA) was okay, no major problems, and then they all moved to the leaked 4.1.2 which was developing, I believe, in parallel with the 4.1.1 ROM.
Yes, I believe strongly that the 4.1.2 and 4.1.1 are now being developed, as well as tested, parallel-y by the Samsung.
I really hope that Samsung will be releasing the 4.1.2 official stock ROMs soon, not the Leaked versions.
Have been wondering why the DEVS stop releasing the ROMS based on the 4.1.1; as the stable and good ROM (base) results a great custom ROM as well (along with the DEVS original tweaks). I have been hearing ppl complaining about the 4.1.2 being buggy in this or that cases, so why stop developing the 4.1.1 "rock solid and stable" roms
Seems like these 2 ROMS are not compatible for the International Note 2.
Tried to flash both of them yesterday via Odin but failed, ought to flash the stock back.
This firmware has the same new features that 4.1.2 leaked?

Both in SamMobile and Samsung-Update show as for N7100, not for N7105.

Hey All,
Just updated from the S3 LTE to the S4 LTE and so far I am very happy wit it
Just wanted to get your advice regarding the current Jelly Bean 4.2.2 installed, is it working fine? any issues with it?
I will root the device shortly and considering installing a different ROM, I was running the CM 10.1 on my S3, is there any difference between the CM available for the S4?
The new available ROM's will keep the most the S4 features available for use?
Any particular ROM people suggest?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Looking for a better alternative of the original stock Samsung 4.4.2 ROM for Galaxy SIV. Cannot make my decision since there are varied experiences and mixed reviews all over the scene, can anyone please recommend a good variant which can be used as a daily driver.
I am using 4.2 WanamLite, but now Wanam has halted future refinement and upgrade of his 4.4.2 version for i9500. Have a look at the following to understand and verify if the following are really true or just the result of an upgrade procedure badly done by ignoring the required steps.

To make your decision it is better to test these options yourself....
XDA rules.
I have tried a few 4.4 based ROMs and finally switched back to 4.3
Battery drain is a BIG problem I faced with 4.4. It went down to 15hrs from over 24hrs earlier.
Still looking for a better ROM. Not sure what are the advantages of updating to 4.4 really!

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and I am looking for a good Rom.
Since I am new to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Modding I have no idea which Rom fits my expectations:
Android 6.0.1
Samsung Launcher/Theme (like on Note 4 with Android 6)
stable/fast/efficient
minimum of bugs
everything works which is not hardware limited (!S-Pen support!)
I already found out that NFC is often not supported. Thats no problem.
Can someone recommend me a Rom?
They are all posted here .

Im abit confused and hoping someone can help out.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and have always used the hlte CM12.1 nightly's - Are these the 'official' CM roms ? And the other custom roms in the development forum, are variants of the hlte but with their own themes or features?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-3/development
Like the user above, I just want a 'stock' CM rom but with the best battery life and as few bugs. I dont even care for the S Pen. Its a minefield, I'm hoping someone could please explain
Also the last nightly was from hlte was on 2016-07-10, does that mean no more updates? If so, how could I apply updated android security patches?
Hello Friends...
I have a s4 i9505 and am not new to samsung as i already own a i9301I....
I want to ask which one is the most stable rom of all for the i9505...
I dont want any noughat rom..
Just A Simple stock modified or some Marshmallow with the latest feature...
Already seen many Roms on the youtube. some are s7 roms and some n5 etc.
Any suggestion for a rom that is smooth as well as Battery Friendly!!
Thanks.
The S4 never got a stock Marshmallow update. So you're stuck with Lollipop ROMs that look a bit like the S6 or not.

I am currently on the stock 4.4.2 and want to switch to a rom that doesnot loose the stock features and i am also not been able to update to 5.0... so now i will try and root my device and then try any stock modified roms...
if u have any suggestions then u r welcome to tell!!!
but the one with the best batterylife will b much appreciated!!
While I don't generally reply to "best ROM" posts, I can tell you that all the stock-based ROMs with I believe the exception of Imperium ROM are no longer supported. Since I'm not interested in keeping my S4 up to date thanks to having a newer device I threw Thor 1.5 (Android 5.0.1) on it and put it away. For a Touchwiz ROM it isn't too bad.
Then go to goldfinger custom ROM as a 4.4.2 kk.
