[APP] Internet Explorer 8.12

Hello,
Is it posible to download IE Mobile 8.12 somewhere on the internet?
I already searches xda, but i can only find IE Mobile inside a rom. I just want IE mobile cab ore something to install on my exsisting rom.
And if there is one, does it work on my 6.1 rom?

you could download wm6.5 rom sone beta 7 if you are using a diamond. i have tried it but went back to ie6 because this one has many bugs. anyways if you want to try it most 6.5 cooked rom have it.

yes i know, already tried wm6.5 beta 1. its a good rom but also got some bugs. thats why i went back to wm6.1.
but a realy liked the IE mobile 8.12.
so my question is: is it posible to download and install it on my wm6.1?

if you dont believe me download this rom by yourself, and look at the version of the IE.

you don't need to get ugly so fast, the 7 version is still a buggy beta version, what dou you want with that one...!! but is Ok you can have it.

If somebody installs this, can we have some bug reports or performance issue posted here. Any microsoft beta release make me think of BSOD

i registered my self to the forum and downloaded the file.
but i cant install it.
it says; the installation of IEmobile 8.12 whas unsuccesfull.
maybe someone is familiar with this problem?

I found here a lot of informations about the developpement of many roms for Android 2.2 on HD2. But as you guess, i'm not specialized in mobile developpement, so i'm a bit lost in this huge amount of informations ...
I simply try to find a simple and concise procedure to install android 2.2 on HD2 (wm 6.5 is installed at the moment).
Must i strictly use the loader Haret ? Android can be loaded only in dual boot ?
Which roms must i choose ? Why is there many roms ?
Is there still major known bug ?

The rom must be installed too on the phone memory or the sdcard ?

ok so i finally test the
- New Froyo build by dan1j3l V1 that my win 7 don't recognize when i plugin the phone
- Miri_Steve0007_EleganciaMaxSense_V5.0_FINAL_NoHTCMessaging
that is a sort of skin but not an OS as i expected. The RUU file patched the windows mobile 6.5 OS instead of the android one ... while i was in an active sync session.
is there an Android 2.2 ROM that works well, for which i could connect to my PC ??
Has somebody tested the FroyoStone Sense - Version 3.1 (29-September-2010) ?

Tinkering with the phone isn't for everyone. From your posts you may fall into that category of 'don't do it.'

I'm gonna try your solution just to try. Just 2 last question :
why elegancia update my win mobile os(on phone memory) instead of Android one (on sd card). I've just run the CustomRUU.exe file from win7 with active sync enabled ...
is there a way to avoid the Haret process and to simply replace the win mobile os ? How can i check if it's ok for Europe Mobile ?
p.s. : i use Radio Leo 2.15.50.14

HTC HD2 - Changing to Android. Pls Help

Hi,
I have just purchased a new HTC HD2 on T-Mobile (U.K.) and I am loving it !
I am a total novice and wish to change from Windows 6.5 to the better latest Android OS.
Can anyone please tell me how to do this? I have no idea what I am doing and do not want to do something which may jeopardise the phone (I do know that it does affect the warranty) The only thing I know about 'Flash' it flashing my mobile in public.
I would really like if someone can give me Step by Step instructions via a video so I can see what I am doing.
Any feedback would be really appreciated.

I think you are making this harder than it needs to be. Just follow the instructions given to you in your previously started thread about the same thing. The link to MSkip gives you detailed instructions on how to install Android on your HD2 and how to revert back to WM6.5 if you so desire.

Thanks for the reply. What is the latest version of Android for HTC HD2? The link you gave me, is that the latest version?

Google is your friend. Haven't used it in a while. If you are that unsure of flashing Android to your HD2 just buy an Android powered phone. Sorry to be so brash but just follow the instructions.

A ROM is the thing that will decide what version of Android you phone will have. If you don't like the ROM you have, or if you just want the newest version of Android, all you have to do is change it. You don't have to re-install everything again, just your ROM.
You might have to change your CWM partition size when you choose a new ROM, but the chef (person who made the ROM) will let you know what size you need in the thread. This is also easy and doesn't require you to re-install everything. Don't worry if you don't know what a CWM partition is because it'll make sense eventually.

[Q] HTC HD2 Help!

Hey guys, i just got an hd2 from a friend that doesn't need this phone anymore, I told her to give it to me so i got it. Well it still has windows phone 6.5 and i would love to have the newer version of windows phone but i don't know how to do it. i went to a webpage to see a tutorial to install wp7 on the device, i installed the •MAGLDR 1.13 , HSPL4, and Radio 2.15, and seriously i dont even kno what are they lol but i got to the point i had the magdlr installed on the htc, the website told me to download the rom but it didn't exist anymore because of the fbi thing of megaupload. So im stuck in this step, so please guys help me what to do next step by step so i can get wp because i dont really know how all of this works. And can i get the latest version of wp from where i am at right now? thank you guys i would appreciate your help. I've heard that this phone is epic yeyy!:laugh:

Internet is working in this ROM from Pdaimatejam! Dont forget to make a hardreset after first flash as written in the tutorial and run HTC Connection Setup!

i think i have the 7.8 because it looks like wp8 but does that mean that i dnt have access to the store or thinks like that? I also cant open office, people, email setup, games, music, etc and i gave permission to root access . I did hard reset it but still the wlan doesnt work it tales a while to find wifi hotspots and then it tells me there is none around

woow i got it working but gives me an error when i try to sign to my windows live it says activation failed

get new one if not working...
i used my code maybe than 30 times on my device and still working...

It says that i need to call contact support for a code, is that allright man? I mean since the wp8 is not made for the hd2 i mean is it fine to ask for one?

hey is the installation of this rom the same as the one i have? i mean just extracting the files and running the dwi.exe ? or do i have to do something different?

I cant see where in your tutorial is this mentioned.
If i call contact support do i just say is an htc hd7 or is it fine to say is a hd2 with a rom on it?

On page4 in the tutorial from dxdy is standing:
Live service activation
- Go to Microsoft support.
- Change region to United States.
- Load again Microsoft support.
- Select: Microsoft Customer Service - help for general inquires
- General Inquiries about Microsoft Products and Services or Genuine Advantage Questions
- Chat in English language and ask for Live activation code for HTC HD7
Or try to search here in the forum! There are a lot of postings regarding the activation from marketplace!!

hey I've been using the wp rom and it is fantastic i just want to thank you:victory:. By the way, how can i make more space to put music on it? my sd card is 2gb and when i try to transfer music from my PC thru Zune to the phone it says there is no space left. Is it possible to make more room?
