4.3 leaked for the Nexus 4! - One (M7) General

I know this forum isn't a N4 forum, but it's interesting nonetheless.
Hopefully they'll have a full breakdown soon:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/07/17/breaking-android-4-3-for-google-nexus-4-leaks-jwr66n-heres-the-system-dump-download/

Cool story bro...

You know this isn't the N4 forum so why did you post this?
That dump will do nothing for either version of the HTC One at the moment.

Cool story bro

Question: Official release of Gingerbread for Nexus One

I don't know if it is a dumb question or someone already did it, but I would like to know if google is going to officialy release gingerbread for Nexus One.
I would like to buy nexus S but I don't know if its performance is good as nexus one. I'm afraid Google is going to forget Nexus One on future releases of Android.
Any opnions I would be glad.

Are you serious? Is the log of 30 other Gingerbread posts not good enough?
Hey don't be mean to him. He was just asking. And for the answer, we I am also waiting for 2.3 For my nexus. I do mpnot think that Google would forget this phone. I say keep ya n1 because the specs are the same between the n1 ans nS. I think/ wishing for gingerbread to come out by Christmas. Lets wait and see.

ICS for GT-p1000 NOT confirmed

Hey guys!
Great news. Just read an article in the German Bild-Zeitung that HTC and Samsung confirmed a "limited feature" version of ICS for SGS, HTC Desire, our beloved Tab and other "older" android-devices.
New years first good news!!!

yup, i have checked there also.
Its not a limited version, its just plain Android without Touchwiz.
That was a translation error when they translated it from Korean
Here is a link (Sorry, german, don´t know a english source and I am to lazy to use google right now)
telekom-presse.at/Galaxy_S_und_Galaxy_Tab_bekommen_doch_Ice_Cream_Sandwich.id.18079.html
PS: Can´t post links because of stupid XDA forum rules
@ Sadmod
Thanks for the source. I read something similar a few days ago. Unfortunately, it is still nothing official in my pov. It is mostly a translation of what has been posted on XDA news a few days ago. This all is still based on rumors. Until there's no official confirmation I am trying not to get my hopes to high.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
here it's confirmed no ICS:
http://newtechnik.com/definitely-no-android-4-0-ics-for-samsung-galaxy-s-gt-i9000-tab-gt-p1000.html
that is also old news.
A moderator should edit the title of this thread to say NOT confirmed. Such words like "confirmed" should never be tossed around so carelessly.

Jelly bean 4.1.1 is now in AOSP

Hey since I haven't found a thread on this I thought I'd let you know.
Jelly bean is now open source with version 4.1.1
I'm looking forward to see it on our beautiful devices since real roms can now flourish!

Except for a sticky
This is my first time with a new Android release that will be valid for my device.... Is it usually so hard to get a first working rom? I mean, when ics sources came out, how long did it take for the first rom to appear?
Thanks!

Proper release like 2 months? But jump between gingerbread to was drastic.

I totally agree. Don't let this device go, it's too good. The sound is great. After my nexus s, I've got to admit that I'm pretty disappointed with my HTC One X+ 'beats audio'
The sound on the nexus s is better. Anyway, enjoy your new device, good luck!
I too said goobye to N S, I get LG L9 and I was suprised there is the same GPU, the sad thing is, Nexus have got big potential but single core CPU will not let it.
Goodbye !
Enjoy your nexus 4, it's a great device ! I am jealous lol

Who's interested in for me developing my toolkit for this device?

It's been several months since I made/updated a toolkit, but I'm looking to come back. Who would like for me to create a toolkit for this phone?

Would love a toolkit for the M8
Used it on my M7 and loved it. I'm sure it would be well accepted in the (quickly growing) M8 community.
Thanks for your work btw :good:
