hi, recently damp got into my xda mini s and disabled all the button, after a while it thought that all the buttons were pressed down, so i tried dryin the device out and it seemed to sort everything out except for the power button, the device thinks that the power button is constantly pressed in so it will either switch the screen off or ask if i want to switch the device off. i was wonderin is there any way that i can completly disable the power button and use another button like the camera button to be the power button instead? many thanks

Pressing the power button turns of the display, will pressing the other buttons (Call, home, Back, windows) bring the screen beack on?
I just realized mine is like this.
Can i lock the other buttons so that only the power button brings the screen back on.
Any registry tweaks for this.

I swear I thought only pressing the power button brought the lock screen up. Now ANY button brings the device out of standby.

Just got an hd2 and it had this problem where when pressing power button touch screen does not work
Here is what to do press power button fast swipe finger on screen to see if it start to work or press power button hard maybe power button is dirty

When i press power button there is a problem in touch screen it doesnt works.... i triied everythig bt when i wake up my device wit power button it stops working.. so i HOW WOULD i have to DISABLE the function of POWER button to completely disable only this button ... i tried BUTTON REMAPPER bt it didnt work for me also tried .. ANY other suggestions???

The issue with the touch screen after pressing the power button is a hardware issue so it doesn't really matter whether you disable the function of the power button, what you need to do is make sure you don't use the power button to wake the screen up and find an alternative way to lock the screen (there are plenty of widgets/solutions on the Play Store).
sometimes when i tap the home button it takes me to the task manager when it's suppose to take me back home...i know that holding the button does it..is there any reason why it's doing it when i just press it once or tap it..could it be the home button is stuck?

Sounds like a sticky home button to me. Do you have a stick on screen protector on? Maybe something holding it up.
