I updated cm 10.1 and I went into titanium backup and uninstalled the apps that come with it (Apollo, default brOwser) and it comes with another calendar app that I uninstalled because I use google calendar from the play store. I uninstalled some data thing as well which got rid of the calendar sync option when you go to your account in settings so now my calendar is not syncing. What do I do besides factory reset??
Just dirty flash the rom and stop messing with things if you aren't sure about the effects.

Means flash without wiping.
So just flash it on top of what I have now? Will I lose any apps or settings, launchers?

How can i edit the SWIPE shortcuts for the Home Screen button?
I only have Google now...but there is space enough for 2 (or 4) more shortcuts.
I searched all internet without finding at least a simple talk about this.
The idea is this (you can see the link at my signature):

If you're up to flashing a custom ROM try AOKP. It gives you the option to change and to over 10 different actions. You can also add the ring to other soft keys.

AOKP. One of the main reasons I use it is to do just this. That and add menu and search buttons.

I submitted this suggestion to Google.

So for some reason if I am in YouTube and I go to landscape and portrait a few times my search bar looks like it is being doubled up. It is just annoying anyone else have this? I am in the newest update. My phone is stock but rooted with the latest update on Att.

I get the same problem but not as severe as you. also on AT&T ROM unrooted. It could just be the app with that bug. Maybe devices other than S4 could have same issue. Someone can verify it but until then we can't assume our phone is the only one.

I wonder if it is a 1080p bug. I will check on the HTC One forums.

This happens on the S3 and Note 2 also. Some bug in the proprietary Samsung TouchWiz framework probably.

Really I had the Note 2 for the past 6 months and never noticed it. I do think it has to be the latest update. That would be the reason I never saw it on the Note 2 because I sold it by then.

I think stock rooted with xposed framework will be enough.
Together with overlays, notifierpro, lmt, app settings module.
Definitely PAC when available. I tried that on on my Note II and it was sick. Eventually went back to stock because of Exynos limitations, but that is definitely my go to for Nexus devices now.
Paranoid Android.
I want it to match my phone exactly.
