Hey guys, I am interested in creating a trailer for my game. I found an app on android called SCR that allows me to record anything i want on my phone but i noticed a slow down.
Has anyone here created a trailer for their game or for someone else? Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks
Guys, I can't seem to find any apps that allows me to record game play. Anyone have a clue on how to record game play?

I've used services on places like Fiverr before to be honestly. Screen Recorder by Guido Fanfani is okay.

I plan on getting a playable version of my game on the PC, that way I can use Fraps to record game play. Will have someone make a trailer for me with the game play I provide for him. If that doesn't work out, I can look into Fiverr. Thanks!

how did u get to view you tube on your 8125? i have orb 2.0 and it keeps asking me for some codecs.
You have to download certain codecs and install them from there website. The codec that i installed to get the youtube videos to play was the ffdshow codec.
what do you guys mean? go to tinytube.net on your phone and you can download any video from 6 different sources, including, google, myspace, and break just to name a few.
its awesome

I second that. Nothing to install, just download away.

You CANNOT view youtube videos with tinytube.net. Plus it seems im always being queued to view a damn video. Orb is faster compared to the quality...only downside is you have to have your computer running. Which I dont find to be a problem personally
but most youtube videos are on google and myspace anyway
It seems that none of the offered solutions properly play streaming video. Anyone found any other way to do so?

I followed these instructions and the work very very well on my WM6 Kaiser.

Kind of off topic, but a little similar... Is anyone having problems downloading streaming media from these sites? I have an AT&T Tilt and whenever I click on a streaming link that is flashed based, Realplayer will come up and tell me this file format is not supported. But, there is no option anywhere to uninstall this thing! I also tried adding all associations /w TCPMP but still no luck. Anyone else running into this?
Has anyone managed to rip that off of the diamond to be used for the Titan?

The youtubeplayer cab works great. It is very smooth...I did notice it is choppy at times then when I drove to a different area (new cell zone) the same files played smooth...
Curious to know what you all have to config settings as....?
My question is some people email me a link to see a youtube video but when I click on it Media Player opens and then errors out. Is there a way to associate these links for youtube to open in youtubeplayer?
YouTube app can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395338
There is a QVGA and a VGA version.
What improvements does this have over Coreplayer's Youtube option?
I'm just wondering what are the best music sites that don't need flash to play the video like youtube where you have to watch using the mobile version and then half the videos aren't encoded to support the mobile version.
So just wondering what is the best site to use to listen to a song that will work on the hd2?

if you just want to listen to a song with no video try beemp3.com/
If you really want a 'site' I can't help you, but it sounds like you are looking for this application - it's great

http://mp3raid.com is one I use.
Yeah thanks, the site and the app will both do exactly what I want. Cheers

except i found for this app when it was playing a song when i pressed the end key to turn my screen off it would stop the song but if i played the song and let the screen dim and then go off after however long you have it set for the app and songs would keep playing!!
great app though!!
I searched on the market and in Appbrain but there does not seem to be an app which records a movie with additional info being shown in the recording. Think of the police cams when they are in pursuit.
I record a movie when I drive to work now and then and I think it would be really nice to see actual speed, directions, time, etc. in the movie. I think that would be really cool .
Anyone know of an app like this? If not, maybe it is just a nice idea then.

I meant this app : http://www.appbrain.com/app/dailyroads-voyager/com.dailyroads.v
But you can't imprint text to the recording on Android, mission impossible. Still you can watch the HUD while driving ;]
Looks like a good app. As per the description:
Display speed, elevation, timestamp and GPS coordinates on videos/photos.
Will have to try it and see if it just displays it or if it actually records the info also for playback.
Just tested this app, it is really nice and has very nice feautures!
Downside: playback recorded movies does not show the data, only when viewed with internal movie player.
So it does not seem possible to download recorded movies to your pc ... thats's a shame.
Maybe that feature will be added later.

very nice app.... thank you
I am wanting to be able to take multiple video clips, merge them into one movie, and be able to post them on youtube as a finished "movie"... this isn't that hard to ask for but I have searched for an hour in the play store and can't find something that actually works and will do these things. Can you post a recommendation?

I use vivavideo from playstore to edit videos, keep in mind it leaves a watermark on the video that says vivavideo

Kinemaster Pro is a great app for that.
Cheers!
I must say that you should use Viva Video App which is one of the best one available for Android Smartphone but I must say that you really can't expect professional like editing tool for any smartphone because there is certain limitations in that we all know that. But I must that this app is really excellent!
