[Q] DSPManager for L3 - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want to know if anyone has the libs and the apk of the DSPManager found in CM9. And if nobody has it, how do I extract it from CM9 (where are the files located)?

You could get the app from /system/apps and libs from /system/lib/soundfx folder

[Q] LatinIME + 2.3.3 CM7 1.0-x8-RC1 HACKDROID

Hi I've updated to racht 2.3.3 CM7 1.0-x8-RC1 HACKDROID, but LatinIME.apk is missing so I got it from my backup (made on 2.3.3 CM X8 J005 HACKDROID).
But it doesn't work, I've tried copying LatinIME (apk and odex) and even tried copying FileManager but none of them works. Any hints?
edit: Already wiped cache / fixed permissions / factory data reset
Try copy libjni_latinime.so ti lib in system
If you have it in system try to install LatinIME.apk
The file libjni_latinime.so was already there
I don't have the latinime apk and I don't think I can install it (the verison that I have form the older rom) since its odexed..

[Q]Decompiling Conversations.apk (stock sms app)

Hi,
I'm trying to decompile conversations.apk from the motorola stock rom, and am failing at it. Right now i have used the following framework files:
-blur-res.apk
-moto-res.apk
In addition all of these files are odexed. And again, i am failing at deodexing them.
Any help please?
I have multitool(apktool), virtuous ten studio (for the code modding, but first i must correctly decompile), and also have xUltimate (for deodexing)
Here... I have deodexed and decompiled Conversations.apk for you
P.S. Conversations.apk is from CEE 2.2.2. Froyo stock
Thanks =)
The files are corrupt (when trying to convert to jar file using dex2jar).
Are you sure you included all the BOOTCLASSPATH files when deodexing?

[Q] How to remowe old lib.so files?

question is,if i want to remove lib files from system apk,how should i know what lib is from removed apk? i know to find lib files from regular apk(unpack apk file and look path of lib.so files),but system apk does not contain lib files when i unpack them, and there are no all lib files start with lib(name of apk).so

deodex or odex?

If this is the wrong thread then apologies.
I used joeldroid to deodex my systemui and all was marked as successful howvwer in the /priv-app folder the app folders are all there with the apk's but there is also another folder named 'arm' which contains 2 files, the odex file and a odex.art file?
I'm really confused as to whether this is actually deodexed or not? Ive noticed in other custom TW roms these arm folders are missing
any ideas
It means your apk in priv app folder is not deodexed
Sent from my SM-N910G using xda premium
yep everytime i tried to replace the deodexed files they would replace fine but then when i look on my root explorer all the arm folders etc are back.. Just trying an app called zipme to get my deodexed files onto my phone
thanks for ansering
so i made flashable zips of my deodexed priv-app, framework and app folders and there was not a single arm folder or odex file in sight. I flash the zips fine but when checking the folders under root all the arm folders and odex files are back????

[Request] MIUI stock camera app apk

Is there a way to extract MIUI camera apk from the ROM's zip?
Idk if you can see this folder structure in the zip but on the phone is
ROOT/SYSTEM/PRIV-APP/MiuiCamera
and MiuiExtraPhoto, I think
