Stuck in bootloader

so ive been flashing roms and have never had a problem till today.
i went to flash the new ava-froyo rom and it went fine and booted right up, and then i tried flashing the new radio and that when everything froze.. it was stuck at the white evo 4g screen...
so i rebooted and it did the same freezein at the white screen..
i rebooted again into hboot, and tried going into recovery and it goes to the white screen again and freezes.
so i only have control in hboot and fastboot. yet i cant get a shell connection. the device is recognized, so im just lost at what to do. been reading for hours and cant figure it out.

Wipe three times wipe wipe wipe if that don't work do whitslack startover method

i cant get into recovery to wipe. do u mean clear storage?
and also, ive been trying to load pc16img off my sdcard, but its not reading. i didnt the sdcard fix and still nothing.. thanks for your help

I kinda had the same issue, try the unrevoked recovery reflash
that's what I did and it worked for me

mine was stuck on the red exclamation point... I tried 5 times by pressing power and +vol buttons, but it was just sitting there for ever...

Are you rooted if not then take battery out put back in hold power and vol down once it goes into hboot pull battery back out then put back in boot up regular way. Happen to me was trying something on non rooted phone went into recovery and got that red! Was like oh man so I did that it v came up hope it works for u

If all fells do power and vol up hook to CPU HTC sync and try load stock ruu on there

so i can only communicate with the phone thru fastboot..
adb isnt seeing the phone, ive also put a pc36img on my memcard and reboot to get it to load, but it wont load it.. so then i did the sdcard fix and still nothing.. thanks again

Ok yes that's what happen to my friend phone I was just seeing what happen. Man I was like oh my lord got scared thought I brick phone what I did was pulled battery put battery back in holding vol down and power once in hboot pull battery wait a min or so put battery back and boot up normal way it came on I was like whew. If that doesn't work pull battery put back in vol. Up and power while phone hooked to CPU do HTC sync and reload stock ruu let me know if it works

my phone is almost dead and wont boot past twrp screen

I am in need of some serious help! last night I rooted my lg g2 and this morning about 8 I installed twrp the phone was fine but then I rebooted and it just stays on the twrp screen and as soon as this happened I got a phone that I hospice visit needed to be done well several hours later I am back and in a worse position cause I have 40% battery and I cant seem to get any of the fixes I tried online to work.I downloaded the lg test tool and thevs9010b software but I cant seem to get my phone to boot into the screen I need. I would be so happy if someone out there could help me I am not the most tech savy but can manage to work my way around if I have an idea of what to do! thanks.
Edit i played around with the buttons and got the green android the but I couldn't get off that screen finally after holding down the power button it rebooted into twrp recovery and I powered back off.

i come to a white screen that says hardware keys control mode! i think this is something in the team win recovery. If i could find a way to push a rom to the internal memory I think i could flash it but its like it took overy the boot process and erased the operating system

If u can boot into twrp then just use adb sideload to push a rom to the sdcard.

[Q] i9500 rebooting into s4 logo even download mode is rebooting

my galaxy s4 is always boot looping into Samsung galaxy s4 screen. only the download mode screen appears but it reboots again after 5 seconds and keeps on rebooting . any help ?

Do you run with stock or custom recovery? Have you tried to (re-)flash a custom recovery (CWM highly recommended)?

I had this problem once. I had to clear all user data,cache,dalvik and intall everything again

i flashed a custom recovery. this happened later on. but now that the download mode is rebooting it slef and recovery isnt coming, i dont think i can flash a recovery..

Hm, if I understand you correctly, you can boot into download mode but it just lasts a couple of seconds before it reboots on its own, right? You cannot boot into recovery as the screen simply stays black. Can you boot successfully into /system or does it bootloop as well?
Sounds like a hardbrick to me, the only thing I can think of before sending your phone in for repair is to pull out the battery for 1 hour or so, reinsert it and boot directly into download mode and see if it stays there. If it does, flash a custom recovery using Odin and check whether you can boot into it afterwards.

well i cannot boot into download mode long enough to flash a recovery and i cant boot into system either .. maybe a hardware problem ?

Looks like it, did you try pulling out the battery for 1 hour and follow the steps as suggested above?

I'm having the same problem here
dead phone, can't boot into recovery, automatically restarts seconds after going into download mode, it doesn't even charge, battery logo comes out aaaand restart, and it keep going
any help?

Im also having the same problem as of this last night.
cannot boot into recovery.
boots to download mode first screen but when I attempt to press volume up to accept, it reboots.
as soon as i put the battery in it cycles through the samsung logo.
tried removing memory card but didnt help.
tried keeping battery out overnight, nothing.
last thing i changed was flashing --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860. did this about 2 days ago.
not sure if that has anything to do with it?

I'm, I was actually, on stock everything, rom, kernel and recovery

OK so I left my phone without a battery in it for the afternoon, just got back home and gave it a try.
It booted. No idea why or what actually went wrong.
Lets hope it doesn't happen again!

OK, So the point that the phone just start booting just the moment the battery is inserted got me thinking
IS IT THE POWER SWITCH?
and indeed it's, the power switch is stuck on, although I can feel the click when I push, still, seems like something is wrong with it
so I tried to suck it out, hit the phone softly few times while the power switch is facing the ground
inserted the battery, aaaand, it didn't start booting, pressed the power softly, and horaaaaay, it's working

Had the same issue and indeed I knocked the power button several times and it worked very well. Thank you! You saved my day

I have similar problem... and identified its power button.
How i identified is as phone switched on i hold menu button and volume down button together and
it booted in download mode, for download mode you have to keep pressing power button, volume
down button and menu button but it went without pressing power button.. so i assume that its power
button.
Try it... hope will identify your problem

whoa, I just got this problem recently, because some of bezel around my phone has cracked, then I try to glue it roughly.
at the other hand, I tried to install new kernel. I tought that kernel make my phone bricked. then I found this thread. so I open my case. and found my glue sticked to the power button, remove it and. voilaaaa~

[Q] Note 3 BRICKED even after Stock flash

So Im going to start from the beginning. I have a Verizon Note 3 MJE, rooted with VROOT, cool now Im rooted.
Now i wanted a Custom Rom, So i downloaded Safestrap 3.64 and the Hyperdrive Rom. All good..
Go into the slots of Safestrap recovery create the partition, install HyperDrive and hit Reboot...
Phone reboots but the screen stays blank.. Go do my research and says wait 5-10 minutes after install for w.e reason..
20 minutes go by... go back into safestrap re do process... nothing again.. decided to go back to stock download all Safestraps and one by one start to install and uninstall trying to verify that i have installed the correct Safestrap for installing the Rom... (i know don't tell me Im an idiot but it made sense last night) nothing that i did work... so went back to stock JB 4.3 so now Im rooted as i began...
go into the Safestrap app and uninstall from recovery this one was Safestrap 3.71.. phone is working fine..
So I have no Safestrap im good... set my phone down to clean my car, the phone Wont turn on..
NOOOOOOOO, IDK for the life of me What happened... So i try every button possible, nothing! Recovery Nothing!!!
I plug it to charge it shows the pre charging battery then shuts and repeats...
figured let me try holding Down-Menu-Power while is doing that ... i get into Download mode, Not gonna lie i cried a little lol
Flashed the Stock Firmware 4.3 with the VZW note 3 32g PIT file... finishes ... Resets now Stuck on BOOTLOOP with the Custom Note 3 Splash screen and on top says Entering Recovery but never does... I Have Tried almost everything but hit it with a BAT!!! Can someone please help me...
and YES i took the battery out and put it back in

1. pull sd card
2. hold vol down, home, power to enter "download mode"
3. hit cancel and it should fire up

The phone will only work if is plugged in to A\C OR computer usb..
I plug it in, the loading battery will pop up, turn off and then repeat.. the whole process takes about 3-4 secs..if unplugged wont do anything at all, when plugged into the computer it lets me access download mode but not recovery..

I would try flashing the stock unrooted mje file by itself.
If you are in same boat then I would flash the pit file by itself. AFTER
All of which is done in odin.

To be honest...that sounds like a dead battery. You know someone else who has a note 3 you can test by trying their battery?

I tried the battery on another note 3 and vise versa, I got it to go into recovery after flashing stock room at one point and full wiped factory reset it from recovery the fone reset twice and it booted to the welcome screen of picking language but shut off wont turn back on.. so square one again battery bootloop and note 3 bootloop when try to access recovery

Help! Phone is stuck in recovery mode bootloop!

So i accidentally pressed the reboot into recovery and now the phone will only attempt to boot into recovery mode. All that happens is that it shows the android laying down for like a fraction of a second every couple seconds :x

Have you tried pulling the battery out for a minute, reinsert and turn on the phone? Also, are you rooted and with a custom recovery?

yeah i left it for about 5 min without battery. and it is rooted and should have a recovery. i just ended up flashing another recovery on top :x
it worked but i havent tried booting into my recovery since then...
