i tried and its really goood and easy:victory:.....rather than genokalar tool.
Where is created oemlogo.zip? After starting start_lib.bat I can not find this zip.
In the folder New_logo. Tested only on 32-bit Windows xp/7/8.
Do you have a 64-bit Windows?
EDIT:
Now I installed 64-bit Windows 8. Everything works.
I do not know where is the problem with you.

Hey
My goal is trying to install Ubuntu on the Archos 70.
I have downloaded a OMAP3 .img from the Ubuntu Wiki. So I use 7zip to extract the tar.gz file, then it ends up as a .raw file. I need it to be in a .img file. Is there a converter or an extracter that can do this?
I can't do any other extracting when I get to the .raw file.
Also would this work on the Archos: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=962023

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it =)

I want to upgrade to cyanogenmod, because it seems it is the latest.
1-Check your stock version. If you are on froyo 2.2.* go to step 5 else if you are on official gingerbread 2.3.5 continue to step 2.
2-Given that you are on official 2.3.5 you need to downgrade to stock froyo.
3-Get the latest stock froyo from here and put the dload directory into your sd card.
4-Power off. Press both volume keys and power on. Wait for the update process to finish. Once rebooted wipe data/cache.
5-Get Official CWM from here.
6-Remove the dload folder and boot into pink screen by holding both volume keys and power on.
7-Replace recovery.img with the cwm recovery provided on step 5.
It saysthat. First i should install stock froyo?
Hi @all,
I´m using the Flashtool and other provided tools here in the Forum for a long time (thanks to all people who are involved in the developing)
Now I want to give something back.
I´m not a developer but I understand (hopefully) basic things.
I have also some phones which does not support the flashmode so I am reliant to the fastboot mode and CWM.
At this point my goal was to flash the stock ROM to the Xperia Z.
I found a tuturial how to make a flashable zip file for CWM but it was for old devices with yaffs2 filesystem and the new ones have ext4.
After some search I found everything what is needed and I want to share it with you.
The Tutorial covers basic things but maybe it will help some people who will try it.
Step 1
Download the Stock-FW you want (FTF-File)
Step 2
Rename the .ftf File to .zip
Step 3
Extract the system.sin (with 7zip or WinRar for example)
Step 4
Open Flashtool go to "Tools" -> "Sin Editor" -> Choose the extracted system.sin and push "extract" Data
Step 5
You will get an system.ext4 file
Step 6
We have to extract the files which are in the system.ext4 file - for this I used the DiskInternal Linux Reader
Step 7
After extracting the files you have to put all the files in a folder named "system" (low letters)
Step 8
Create a folder named for example "Firmware"
Step 9
Put the "system" folder in the "Firmware" folder
Step 10
Download the Attached META-INF File - extract it and copy the META-INF Folder in the "Firmware" folder
Step 11
Now you have in your "Firmware" folder two sub-folders
"system" and "META-INF"
Now you only have to zip the both folders for example with 7zip or WinRar
Important: You have to set the compression to "Store"
Step 12
Copy the zip File to your SD-Card and flash it with CWM
If you want you can now add files to the system folder - like busy box - and or modify things and flash it over CWM.
Special thanks to Bin4ry
Best regards

Learned ! Thank you.
Nice tutorial!
EDIT: The flashable zip is huge (990MB), did this have anything to do with the compression being set to 'store'?

If you don't set it to store it wont work at all, no rom/flashable zip have anything other than store compression the same goes for bootanimations
Edit: OP/Mod you might just want to change TFT file to FTF in step 1

did it via linux ! thanks any way !
When I tried to extract Xperia S's stock rom from the ftf using DiskReaderInternals, then the rom would boot but USB would never work. Even the guy above me (ShivangDave) tried extracting using DiskReaderInternals for Miro but the rom failed to boot and got stuck at the Sony logo. That's why it is better to use linux to extract the system.ext4 image.

This Tutorial should also work with the Neo V. Only one thing could be different.
But depending on your Android Version (when I remember well) it could be possible that you have instead of an ext4 file a yaffs2 file. In this case you can search the forum for an how to for this extension.

I use a template for flashing various things and I just drop stuff in it using Normal compression and it flashes ok, might be more important for full ROMs or zips to be run on the Phone like a boot animation, but for flashing the odd apk or other file I don't think it matters.

I'm trying to install Wear 2.0 Developer Preview 3 on Huawei Watch. I'm currently using Developer Preview 2, so I thought I'd be familiar with the flashing process.
Anyhow, all the tutorials I managed to find include a part with running a flash-all.bat, which for some reason isn't included in the preview image package I downloaded from https://developer.android.com/wear/...ampaign=android_discussion_wearpreview_092916 .
Where can I get the flash-all.bat?
Edit: Umm, I decided not to go with DP3 at least for now. I thought I'd return to the official stock firmware, but how do I perform the flashing? Do I manually have to edit the file names in flash-all.bat to match the file name of the stock rom's name? Does it matter that the stock rom came as a .tgz even though the files mentioned in the flash-all.bat are .img and .zip? Damn this is confusing, and googling isn't helping at all...
This page is what I'm using as a guide. Worked fine though did take a bit to get the flash-all.bat to run. All files are included in the downloads. Top download is preview image. Bottom is to go back to stock.

Generally, if it's 6.0.1 and rooted systemlessly, you need to replace boot.img with a stock one and remove SuperSU app from system.img.
This ROM intended to be flashed from TWRP, so it's an ext4 image.
You can mount it to a linux system on your PC and remove anything you want.
I havent done anything like this before. Could u give me some links or guides? My PC is running Windows 10.

Ok, here' a simpler way:
1. Make changes on one phone.
2. Make a TWRP backup of boot and system partitions.
3. Restore this backup on other phones. They must have TWRP installed, a 6.0.1 bootloader and modem.
You'll have to rename backup's folder path and to wipe cache/data/system before restore.
can i use winrar to extract & compile the rom, without linux? So that i will have a much faster flashing process for all other units..

Ok, I've managed to download that ROM at last.
The things look even simpler.
To prepare an "unrooted" ROM:
1. Download the zip form this post and unpack updater-script somewhere.
2. Make a copy of V3.G900F.STOCK.FOR.SCL23.FULL.MINHQUAN.zip, open it with Windows Explorer and replace V3.G900F.STOCK.FOR.SCL23.FULL.MINHQUAN.zip\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script with the file you've unpacked from the attachment.
3. Try to flash ans see if it's what you need.
thx so much, already passed all units to the buyer. ill try that on next batch restock, may iknow if there's a way to get the service menu shortcode *#0*# to work again? This rom doesn't has the service menu.

I've replaced the updater-script in the zip file, but supersu is still there
