Well long story short, i cracked my screen, i can partially see whats showing and im trying to factory reset it from adb, since i dont want anyone snooping on my personal data. I can get into recovery and adb detects the device but i cant figure out the commands to do the wipe, any ideas?
edit: got into download mode, ill just flash the stock firmware over it, oh well....

The fact that phone boots in download mode is evidence that bootloader is ok. It is not givin any info about the rest of the system condition.
searched a bit mor. pit file gave an installation error. it`s said emmc is damaged. thanks anyway.
Flashing official firmware via Odin doesn't work?
Do you have custom recovery? I think restoring .efs might help restore product name, I might be wrong though.

Hey there everyone,
I really appreciate allthe help I've gotten over the years from the XDA community.
Here goes. My wife's S5 crashed the other night and when we try to turn it on or get into download/recovery modes nothing happens except some vibrations and a blank screen ...except once in a while the image posted here will flash on the screen. Please help, there's got to be a way to reflash functional software of somekind.

Can you get into download mode to reflash? It will wipe the phone, but at least you'd have it functional
Picture

If I could do that, I've rooted and flashed enough phones to solve that kind of mischief this is totally wacked. Also I'm having trouble adding a picture to my posts. Why can't I just upload from my computer instead of finding a host online?
Image fixed

I was once facing this issue on 2015 if I'm not forgotten. I tried everything I can. Flash Stock ROM, from oldest one to newer one. But nothing helps. I went to Asus Service Center, and they said my phone's mainboard and storage are dead. So that was my story with the kind of same problem. I don't know if someone would have any solution better than that. Hope that helps.
Tried to flash TWRP in SM-N9005, But odin says PASS.

Tried go to the recovery to see results, Goes back to the stock recovery.
Device is android 5.0 (Lolipop). Any help appreciated!!
Most likely your bootloader isn't unlocked. Try unlocking it again.
This only happens when ODIN tries to copy the image to the selected sector but the device is locked to use a certain image only in that mentioned sector.
