Some time happens.. always factory data reset after update...
Mine had smart pause sensor issue.. I call samsung phone service. They operate my phone with help of "smart tutor" like team viewer..
And they said its software problem. Reset or give it service centre..
And I did factory reset and then my issue fixed..

With Odin 3.04 you can flash official stock roms from here www.sammobile.com/firmware. Does not raise the flash counter and status will remain official.

Here is a detailed instruction for how to use Odin 3.04 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1372414. Download the correct rom from Sammobile, extract it once with 7-zip till you see a folder containing a .md5 file and flash that in Odin in the PDA section. Close Kies (also in windows task manager) before the flash.

Gaah! Sorry 'bout that. It suprised me that it got softbricked with no recovery, as it doesn't touch recovery partition.

Oh, the perils of being flash junkie
I've got some network issues with my S3 mini. From time to time it disconnects itself from the network - no mobile internet, no incomming/outgoing calls, no nothing. Signal indicator is full, but the phone works only after restart or airplane mode on and off. There's a thread about this issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057285&page=5).
I run stock ROM, no root, no customizations. I'm wonreding can I install this radio on it and may it resolve my problem?
My current firmware details:
AP: XXAMD3 ; CP XXAMD3, CSC: OOXFAMD1

Yes it should be fine to flash but I can't say if your problem will be fixed.
You need root to flash this and I think your PDA, PHONE and CSC won't match correctly anymore, for kies or ota to give you updates.
You can still update manually with odin tho, when new fw for your country arrives.

[Q] newbie question ! customer recovery for 4.4.2?

Hey guys,
I know this is kind of answered in alot of different places but nothing is guiding me to the correct files, just want to be safe and figured this was the best place to make sure i hit the bullseye.
Just updated to poland 4.4.2 kitkat and was looking to install a customer recovery so i could grab the latest version of xnote and a few other goodies. Could someone please guide me to a download section/link for cwm? or maybe twrp? which ever would work easiest

Well you can try either do a factory reset / Wipe cache via recovery and if still doesnt work try to Flash/Download the firmware base from your country via odin , Or flash a different kernel.

big Wi-fi problem

Hello everyone.
I have a big wifi problem with my I9505.
I can't turn the wifi on, when I was on AICP the wifi setting screen was stuck with a message "Activating WiFi'
I don't think thait it is a hardware problem because time to time, after a reboot it randomly work until the next reboot.
I've tried to update to the next stock rom with a full wipe and it didn't solved the problem.
Thanks you all for your help and excuse me for my poor english.

Lollipop doesn't work like android KitKat. Everyday people tell me exactly this and "Recent" no means that will work in your device. Downgrade isn't a problem atm coz you are on Lollipop and you want flash Lollipop too.
Thanks you for you help.
I have flashed the firmware you gave me.
Unfortunatly it didn't solved the problem but the wifi worked at the first boot and then after a reboot I can't switch it back on.
I really don't understant what's the problem with my phone.
[EDIT] I have attached screenshots from phone info.
Thanks a gain for your help.

It's hardware. You can try to clean the wifi/bluetooth chip in your device. Or you have to find someone who can replace the chip for you.

Do I need to downgrade to kitkat?
i have same issue here, i try custom roms, downgrade an other methods but issue persist, sometimes when reboot wifi turn on and connect, maybe not a hardware problem.

No flash counter on Android 4.4.2 and later, so no use for Triangle Away. The big concern now would be tripping the Knox security flag. As long as you haven't attempted to modify the firmware you'll be ok.

A3 2016 cannot check for update?!

Recently I checked for sw update on my new a3 2016 phone and it found some new security updates and it went fine with update. After few days I checked again and it found nothing.Last time I successfuly checked was 11.6.2016 and since then I can no longer check for updates. If I touch the option for manually update check nothing happens.I already tried as suggested by google to change another sim or to wipe cache partition but none of them works.I do not want to factory reset.Any other solution to this problem?I also tried to use kies but its not supported!!??
Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in advance.
Are you rooted?

But... if you flash stock firmware, u will lose data, too, so make a backup with twrp and put it in your PC/OTG pendrive/SD
I think you can solve this problem wipe data and cache from recovery but you will lost your data! so you can try to flash the last firmware of your stock rom via odin maybe it will solve!
EDIT: i didn't read you answer "i don't woant to reset my phone" so flash your stock rom i don't think it reset the phone just flashing the stock rom!
