Random Google signal

Anyone all's with random Google signal this start like 2 weeks ago for me I just want to make sure the it's not the phone and it's Google.

what are you referring to. Might it be your cell signal, if it is I too have been having more issues with sprints coverage in past month

Well I do have bars they are all gray almost all the time. And when they green it's when Google go's in and it's faster

may I ask if your wifi policy is set to "when screen off" might be getting the hand off between cell radio and wifi when reconnecting the mothership

I'm experiencing the same thing. For the past month or so, my signal bars go from Green to Gray and as a result I lose any connection to Google's services. Such as Gmail, Gtalk, Gvoice etc. Every time I see this, I have to login to Gtalk and the bars go green again. But this fix only lasts from a few minutes to a few hours if I'm lucky. I've been on the Google forum reading about this issue since April on T-Mobile and other carriers, and now since a month ago on Sprint.

I had that problem with my HTC Desire. The problem only appears when there's very little space left in RAM or internal memory...

No this sounds like Google having server issues. I'm seeing the same on my phone.

Do you see this happening with 3G, or wifi as well?

See it more on 3g. You thing it can be the gaaps cuz I get it back every time I go to gtalk

N.O.Wifi.A 3 help

Pardon if this is the wrong area.
OK so ever since N.O.V.A. 3 came out for iPad I have been addicted to it and be live it or not till now I never did play the story mode only played the multi player. Anyways have been dreading to get it on my Galaxy note and finally got it a few days ago and when I try to play multi player, the game just lags. It is slow and takes for ever to just turn or move and run and fly shoot when playing in my note and before I know it someone has already shot me. I don't think its my phone as when I tried the normal story mode it runs just fine.
Than I realised it also works fine when playing online but the lags happen when playing in a crowded area, as in if there are 4 or more players in the round when we start shooting each other the game lags for me. I never had this issue on my iPad at all so I don't know what's up. My wifi on my phone never is full, even as I type now its 2 bars and not full so I did Google this issue and how to increase wifi strength but didn't get any answers. So my issue if anyone can help is how do I improve the wifi strength though I don't know if the with is the issue why the game lags when there are more than 4 players in the game together. So any help?

Are you using Chainfire mod?
You may need to O/C the phone

Works fine here. You'll have to flash a new modem if you want to fix wifi speeds, but it won't guarantee faster speeds.

[Q] slow 3G on Airtel - India

on my nexus 4, i get ridiculously low 3G download speeds(60 kbps on speedtest) . this has started recently when the mobile refused to be connected to google servers (wifi and data icons stay gray). i reset the APN, and after a while the problems were gone. now i get low speeds and it refuses to download any app from the play store! it never starts the download. please help!
i'm on franco kernel milestone 2 and stock rom

Make sure you have 3g pack activated. If you have 2g pack active it will still connect to 3g but will use 2g speeds.

even if it is a 2G pack i should get more than 2-3kbps download right? max i get 10. did you face the same problem?

So do you guys actually have so many people on trains that you can't even see the train?

Try a different modem/baseband and give it a couple of days to settle!(0.27 or 0.54)
Should be okay.
You could even call airtel after that and tell them to give you the 3g settings on the call itself and save it manually.

what exactly is trying a different baseband? is it like flashing a baseband?

My new sm-n9005 signal drop and come back but when on the mobile data it's fine.

Yes I got that also a couple of times. The signal is completely gone and then comes back.
Mobile is also OK. It has a stronger signal then my iPhone 5.

Made a thread about this. The wifi in this phone sucks. I think it has something to do with the wifi quality check before it connects. Any apk I can delete so it doesnt check the quality and just connects

It happened to me last night too. On the screen with the list of available wifi networks about every 5 seconds it would cycle from seeing all of the nearby ones, to saying my remembered network was not in range, even though the router is about 10 feet away. A reboot took care of it, and my wifi has been very solid since then, much better than my old Evo 4g LTE.

Yep mine does it but if you go on where the wifi scans, menu button and advanced and there's a option along the lines of check quality. I unchecked that and it's been fine all day...

Happens to me too and my 3G seems to be very slow.

I have the AT&T version and my wifi has been great, I have wiped and flashed the stock firmware back a few times tho. They may have something to do with it.

yeah how to get rid of the wifi quality check.. also problematic when it detects the wifi if the internet is slow or not.. sometime we dont need it to check if the internet is slow or not we just want to connect

Wifi issues do I need to switch while I still can

I just got the s4 and its total stock but it keeps dropping on and off wifi. In fact in settings it sometimes says I have poor wifi conection. But I know my router is good and my wifes g2 has no problems. I read online there is alot of issues sinve the 4.3 update and even after the patch. I also read samsung is not going to do anything there blaming sprint or your wifi. Should I switch to the g2 while I still can or hold out for a fix or does anyone know a fix?

Also it took 4 hours to set up phone. Most was the crazy slow download of apps from play store and updates from play store. Small apps would take 10 minutes to download then about 5 to install while on my wifes g2 same app same time downloaded and installed in under a minute

WiFi switching on and off is probably under wifi settings. Just turn it off and it will stop switching on and off.

I tried that even did the ##code to get into WiFi and turn off WiFi saver. Nothing worked and then it started saying no mobile data connection but I was on lte and it worked. Plus I was getting that Knox problem so I just went to the g2. Thanks though
