Information for rom developers:
All custom roms works fine with TD version, but:
LED flash doesn't work (Kernel)
CPU max. freq. 1.5ghz (need 1.7ghz) (Kernel)
Two problems which disturb full compatibility

Hello,
Acer A500, running latest FlexReaper (R12).
I would like to change the voltage of the processor
(specially when screen is off, and wifi is off : I switch off the wifi when tablet is sleeping)
with Voltage control and SetCpu it seem that I can't
is it a kernel limitation ?
I don't find other kernel easy to install, without changing the rom
any help would be great
Olivier
Hey orobin. It's a limitation of the kernel right now. You can't overclock or underclock flexreaper right now. Currently there are no kernels available to do this unless you try Thor's ICS rom which can be found on tegraowners. No overclockable ICS roms on XDA though.
Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005.
I installed a custom recovery and rom 2 days ago, first rom being phronesis 2.0 rom.
From there I tried overclocking my device but all apps show me 2.26ghz is the max my device can go, apps used include: kernal auditor, setcpu, trickster mod and no frills cpu control.
I searched the forums a bit and so I thought flashing a new kernel would help. I flashed Arter97s kernel and it still didn't allow me to overclock higher than 2.26 ghz, then I tried audax's kernel with no luck.
Then today I moved on to Tesla 5.1.1 Rom, and I still cannot overclock higher
I yet again reflashed arter97s kernel and still I am having no luck.
Any help?
Thanks

This is the limitation of the kernel. It provides the frequencies it supports, so you need a kernel with OC support. I do not OC, so sorry, no clue which to take which even is allowed to talk about here. ShinTo was supporting it AFAIK, but they had to leave due to not providing the source and thus violating the GPL.
Overclock

I am able to overclock my 9005 up to 2.7GHz with mentioned apps. I am not sure which kernal I am using. I have Phronesis 5.0 on and am getting ready to flash 5.2. The only shlep is that I need to set the frequency after each reboot. I wish this could be included in a kernal.
Try using leankernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488082 I had same kind of problem then I flashed this and used kernel auditor. Now everything works perfectly!
Can't Flash Kernel on note 3 sm-n900
I have been looking for solution at multiple sites. Hope to get answer here. I have downloaded a stock rom lollipop for my note 3 sm-n900.
I was successful at overclocking it to 2.1ghz but i want it to be at 2.7ghz and the current kernel does not support it.
I tried flashing three different kernels lk-hltemo 6..., lk-hlte v6 and lk-hlteu 6... using CWM and TWRP but kernel didn't flash.
Somebody pleaseeeee helppppp....
Read the thread .
But if you dont know what you are doing you will brick your phone .
I am currently using Boeffla Kernel (3.3 Beta 1 atm) with ResurrectionRemix 5.7.4 (atm Blackjubel's 20161012 build) and I am very happy with it. I have slightly overclocked my G900F to 2.6GHz, I have NTFS support, I can activate UMS Mode, if I want (one of the greatest features recently added) there are lots of governors with many different options and I could continue to rave about this kernel but as soon as the XPosed Framework gets it's first working version for Android 7, I will upgrade (if possible to Resurrection Remix, but there is already a great working version of AICP for the KLTE) and LordBoeffla already announced, that he won't continue his kernel for the KLTE with CM14. This is really sad, but no reason to stay with CM13.
What I wanted to ask you with this long and badly written text: has anyone here on XDA an idea, which kernel I could possibly install together with a CM14 based ROM if I want OC features, different governors, NTFS support and possibly also UMS Mode to stay?
Thanks in advance
Colin
Hello , im using redmi 2 2gb version
I had problem with max cpu frequency
When cpu usage 95%+ max frequency lock to 800mhz and its make me feel lag, and that happen with chrome or playing video
Even with kernel adiutor change to 1.4ghz still didnt lock
Currently I use custom rom Tesla official stable
And thats happen too on mokee mm stable
Sorry for my english
Thanks
Best option available in my experience is dont use custom kernels at all. They may be buggy at certain task.
Stable Kernel which comes stock with the rom is best option. No bugs in multitasking and no more lags at all.

Can someone send the link on all version of Dragon Kernel at Samsung J5 2016 (j5nxlte).
The reason why I change back to stock rom version, because all custom rom that I've use is not stable + The Wifi connection is not good (Ra domly Turn Off). Unlike to the stock rom it has a better connections. About Kernel Dragon it's so smooth and very stable. I found some threads about kernel dragon but the link is dead. So help me guys.
