Hi,
I have been using the Videocon VT10 tablet for a while now. Its an amazing tablet with good specifications and battery but then it has a lil bloated OS. Can someone help me root it to either install custom OS or remove the bloatware from the existing OS?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hi im not necessarily "new" to androids and rooting, modding, developing or anything, im just not as experienced as i should be. Anyway I would really like to know which bloatware apps are are safe to uninstall on the metro pcs ZTE Concord II running android 4.3. And im also wondering are there any custom roms at all for this phone because the write protection isnt very fun to play with. Any help and info will be greatly appreciated.
I am a new owner of a G6 H870, and I love everything about it, except for the bloatware and apps I don't want / need. Do I need to root to get rid of these, or is there any alternative, such as making it a pure android OS experience. If so could somebody explain what to do and link a guide on how to do it, as I don't have any prior rooting experience. Thanks in advance
There is no stable custom rom that will give you a stock android look and feel at this moment.
It is possible to get rid of some bloatware though, even without root.
If you do unlock your bootloader and then root, you could try the Fulmics rom. It is a debloated version of the stock rom with extra tweaks added.
Hello, I've been having trouble finding a decently up-to-date Vanilla ROM, the best I could find is RR Nougat 7.1.2 which is obviously getting old.
Could anyone help me find a lightweight ROM that might be a bit more privacy-based, if possible? If not, I'd still appreciate knowing which is the best option available for my S4-I9500.
Thanks in advance!
Ok, I have a T380 and I am enjoying it. What I don't like is the lack of development. So, in my infinite wisdom I have decided to try and do something about it. First step in this journey for me is debloating and lightening the stock Pie ROM. There is a debloated stock ROM available for the 380, but it is Oreo and I want Pie. I have started doing research, but most of the stuff I have found so far is from back in the dark ages of kitkat and such. I am competent in computers, both linux and windows. I have rooted and installed custom ROMs on most of the devices in my house. I am thinking I need to use kitchen or such. Not sure where to start or what direction to head. Any advice or help would greatly appreciated.
Update. I do not want to 'debloat' I want to actually remove/uninstall everything I can. I think that 9 gigs is just crazy for an OS. I am looking to try and get it as slim as I can with out going full custom just yet
Hi there, I am still new in this area of custom ROM, so any help or advice is very welcomed. I have a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, but I am trapped in android 5.0 so lots of the apps is not working for me anymore. A friend recommended me to search XDA for possible solutions here and I found that I can upgrade my android beyond the official updates here.
My main aim is to get a newer android so I can use PlayStore to install the latest version of this and also preserve the S pen functionality. Can anyone mention what are the best custom ROMs to install that can allow me to use the S pen to write down notes or be used for writing in the keyboard instead of typing? Also how can I back up my phone original ROM just in case the custom ROM does not work?
Thanks a lot for the help .
Every rom will works with Spen actually, I'd recommend Crdroid because its has lots of customization and feature
